Our heat pump wasn't working when the air conditioning was turned on this spring. We contacted this company for the first time on 5/21/19 at 8 am for an appointment and 2 hours later, 2 workers arrived to our home. They determined that the motor in heat pump needed to be replaced. The total for the repair was $308, which included a $99 service fee that is prepaid ahead of the appointment. We are happy with the service provided, which was completed before 12 noon, and the price charged was lower than replacing the heat pump. read more

Sure enough, bright and early this morning, a courteous gentleman working with Burtonsville Fuel Company knocked on my front door to announce his arrival, filled my oil tank, and restarted my sleeping furnace. This is a really great small company. Service is responsive and so polite. I had issues with my HVAC system (which they did not install) and they were out within 20 minutes to make sure everything was up and running in this cold weather . I had a few unresolved issues with the wiring of a new thermostat , and they were quick to come back out to ensure everything would be running smoothly. Would highly recommend. read more

There was no long line for waiting, the lady on the other side was very kind and helpful within second a home visit arrangement was done. The tech showed up in less than 1 hour, took he less than 10 min to located the failing part, another 20 min to put the new part on and the system was back online. wow! speechless!! We have a service contract and oil agreement through Burtonsville Fuel. We switched from another provider in 2017 because our oil had run out in our prior home mid-snowstorm. Burtonsville Fuel brought oil within 2 hours. Very very happy with them. I was with a different oil company for 14 years in this house & 20 years in another. But when I looked at their prices, I realized they were much much higher than Burtonsville. Now, the deliveries are done when they say they'll be done; the service was prompt and they were back with the part (a recall so they had to have it sent from the manufacturer) before they said they would. The constant billing problems with the last place are now gone. read more

Burtonsville Oil Company saved us today when we unexpectedly ran out of oil in the middle of a snowstorm. Within half an hour of the phonecall to their emergency line the truck was in our driveway with enough oil to get us through. No one else promised us any help but they delivered. They have been family owned and operated since 1955. In 1964 when my folks built our house they became our fuel company do the math--- over 50 years they were who my family used for fuel and ALL our furnace and furnace service and maintence needs.My folks passed away and we were forced to sell the house. We are settling on the house on March 28th. We put every cent we had into fixing the house to sell. We owe Burtonsville Fuell about $450 for under 40 days. We ran out of fuel and I called and literally begged them for 100 gallons(their minimum)of oil on credit in addition to what we owe them explaining that in less than a month we would of course pay them as we have been customers for HALF A CENTURY and there is no way we would not pay them. The family member I spoke to told me NO WAY and when I questioned her loyalty to a 50 year customer she told me I had offended HER!!!! Folks these people are not life savers or kind or sweet or loyal they could care less about you -your family or your home. Of course you must remember this is only my opinion about what happened. read more
