The biggest highlights for us were the Byodo-In Temple and the Dole Plantation. We were originally going to drive ourselves to these places, but we were so glad we ran into the vendors on the street instead. Some of the stops didn't quite meet our expectations, but for the price (especially with the discount), it was well worth it. However, the real heartbeat of the tour wasn't even the sites--it was Neo and Ryan. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the island, and their presentation was filled with heartwarming honesty, real facts, and no sugar-coating. They made sure to include everyone in the conversation, which showed such genuine care for the guests. We absolutely loved them and would tour with them again on any other adventures. Later in the week we went back to some of those places to spend the entire day there. The places we loved the most were Eternity Beach and Waimea Bay rock jump. This is a must-stop when driving through the east side of the island!…read more Halona Blowhole Lookout is about 20-ish minutes from Waikiki. If you are feeling a little jet-lagged and waking up too early, I recommend getting here during sunrise. Multiple hiking trails are around this area, so make sure to head to one of those next. Besides the blowhole which is what is famous for, you can also access a small beach cave where I got to see a few turtles hanging out around the beach. If you decide to go down to the beach make sure to wear tennis shoes since it is very rocky. I also recommend coming on a day that is not too windy (it can get dangerous with the strong gusts). Overall a must see when visiting Oahu!
