Food: I always do takeout, and my experience has been inconsistent. Out of three visits, the food was disappointing twice. The burgers lacked flavor, the portions were small, and the quality was poor (how can someone mess up a burger?). On one occasion, however, the burger was absolutely amazing, which shows they have potential. Still, for me, the overall hit rate has been 33%. Most of the time, the food has missed the mark by far. The patty was smelly and poorly prepared, almost like something you'd see on Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares--as if the burger had been microwaved. Decor/Ambiance: The decor and ambiance are nice, but a restaurant should focus more on the quality of its food. Service: I can't comment on dine-in service since I always do takeout, but I've never had issues with the takeout process itself. Overall: I gave them another try after they responded to my previous Google review and invited me to try again. Unfortunately, the inconsistency remains. They have great potential, as shown by the one amazing burger, but the stark highs and lows make me wonder if it's a managerial issue or cost-cutting. read more

I love this place, and I really hope it lasts in the Canyon Crest location. I pretty much just switch back and forth between the various salmon and chicken options, and they are all fantastic. It's tough for casual restaurants like this to get the texture of salmon and chicken right (both tend to be too tough and dry at lesser restaurants), but Bushfire nails it every time. Ordered food to-go...Peri peri chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, veggies, with a side of extra peri peri sauce. American burger with fries. Some food was hot and some was cold. Definitely a timing issue. Chicken was ok, just a tad dry. The peri peri sauce was good, but the side of peri peri sauce looked completely different from the sauce on the chicken, so I don't know what I was given. Mashed potatoes are not good. They were cold and dry, not creamy at all. Veggies were just ok. The bread was good, but not very soft. It was probably not that fresh. The burger was not that good. I don't care for their buns and the meat was dry and kinda cold. Their fries were amazing and hot. They were the best part of the meals. Maybe this is just not a good to-go spot. read more

Went for lunch with friends from work and ordered the tri tip bowl with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts, and chimichurri sauce, and a pumpkin empanada for dessert. The tri tip was tender and flavorful (not a bit of fat or gristle on it!), the roasted sprouts and mashed potatoes were both delicious, and the chimichurri sauce was packed with amazing flavor! The empanada was just like a little pumpkin hand pie, and served with whipped cream on the side - scrumptious! I thought the pricing was terrific given the large portions (I'm a big eater and I took 1/3 of it home) and the high quality. Will definitely be back soon! read more

One of the worst burger's I've ever had the displeasure of eating! Asked for Medium, everything was past Well done including the bacon! All i could taste was burnt. My father ordered a tri tip sandwich, and recieved the dryest looking couple slices on bread I've ever seen. Not a drop of sauce or juice in sight. I've been deployed to Iraq, Saudi & Afghanistan and can confidently say the DFACs there have made better food. On top of the bad food, the prices are ridiculous! $17 for a burger, no sides or drink. And for the quality to be THAT is honestly insulting. I would feel horrible feeding that to my dog, never going there again. read more

My daughter couldn't finish the burger because it was very dry and plain and my daughter loves burgers. my chicken sandwich was luke warm to cold at best and my wife couldn't finish her tri tip sandwich was also very dry.
