Granted came on graduation week so take what I say with a grain of salt. Super slow service we sat for 40 mins waiting for food and gave us burning hot artichoke dip. Then when food came; I ordered the jumbo spaghetti and meatballs, there was a piece of plastic in the food. Manager is super kind and took it off my bill but throughly look through food if you come because it might lead to an upset stomach. read more

We meet here all the time (as you can see below) because it's our half way point, but today was literally the worst food we EVER had here... Guess that will teach both of us to try something "new"... The manager comped the steak and the waitress (Sophia D) tried her hardest to accommodate us and also took back the F&C, which I exchanged for a bowl of soup. Long drive home so I stopped for my fav Nutty Brunette and Pot Stickers as a great break. The quality is always there and so was the service here. Found a seat at the bar even though the place was pretty busy. Bar tender was very nice and the restaurants are always nicely designed, clean and comfortable. Came with a group of thirteen on a Tuesday for early dinner, service was very friendly. All the servers did a great job! The food options on the menu were as I remembered, I haven't been to a BJ's in at least five years. The restaurant itself was pretty big not very full, and clean. The food itself did not taste as I remembered it, I got the avocado egg rolls and the turkey club sandwich and a Pazooki. The club sandwich was not on regular bread like I remember it, it was on a kind of Texas toast? The flavor and the quality just seemed off. I returned to this resturant to give them a second chance. I can with another group for work to enjoy a birthday celebration during lunch hour. Outside of two issues, we had a considerably better experience. Issue one, my co workers ordered a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, and they got it wrong. And the worst part about that is her dish came out last, was wrong, and we had to wait for the right one to come back. Also the bathroom was out of soap right when we arrived. I notified the front staff and they ensured it would be solved. I went back at the end of the meal like 45min later, still no soap. Again we had a lovely meal with great service though. We all ordered off the lunch special. I got the country fried steak and was happily surprised. The meal was so good, so was the pazooki. Came for dinner and took advantage of the Open Table reservation option online. When we arrived, we waited a few minutes as they were clearing out tables, and then was seated. Our server, Natalie, welcomed us and was very nice and asked for our drink order. Those came out promptly. We then placed our order of avocado rolls (not pictured), wedge salad, wings, fettuccine Alfredo, and meatballs with spaghetti. Wait wasn't long and we enjoyed our meals. The pasta dishes were a lot, so we what we didn't finish, we took home for leftovers. For dessert, we ordered the pizookie trio of two gluten chocolate chip and one cookies and crème. It was perfect size and so yummy for our party of three. We enjoyed our visit and will drop by again when in the area (visiting family). Our local BJ's restaurant (Moreno Valley) is one of our family's go to spots for fast delicious lunch/dinner selections & delicious pizza! We always get great food at good value! I really enjoy going to BJ's Brewhouse. I've been to many locations and it's because I know I'll be getting a solid meal that's hot, tasty, and satisfying. This time we came was for an app and drinks. Our waiter was super nice and even though they were busy he would give us a lil head up as he passed by to let us know he would be with us asap. My husband loves the committed ipa so he got that, I got the strawberry dream soda. I've never had it, it was really good, surprisingly refreshing for a sweet drink. It's nice when your grown kids want to take you to dinner. My youngest wanted BJ's so BJ's it was. A little crowded but not bad, we had a ten minute wait and then were taken to our seats. My son ordered the Mac and cheese bites for our appetizer, which are always pretty good. For dinner I had Jambalaya and my son had a bacon guacamole cheeseburger. Our waitress was Kat. Nia and Ishmael took great care of us. We were a party of seven total, including two babies. I am very particular and had many requests, which were all met with smiles. Very polite, pleasant, energetic, amenable, patient, friendly and very upbeat. She checked on us numerous times to make sure we were pleased. We decided to give BJs a chance again and ordered delivery. In the past we've had mixed luck with the quality of food. We ordered the burger sliders appetizer. They were the saddest, strangest sliders and actually made us laugh. It was clear they made one large burger and cut it into four pieces. Came on burned buns and were very dry. Update ! The company emailed me and gave a $50 gift card to try again. Kudos to BJ's for this!! I ordered online to curbside pick up. I was there at 3:42 pm, my pick up time was 3:45. My spouse went in to the take out door at around 3:55. He walked out with our order at 4:10. Got home, not what I ordered. They gave us inedible chicken wings when I ordered boneless flavored wings. I took my wife out for a lunch since we haven't been out to BJ's in a long time. I ordered the Smashburger with fries. Really delicious. My wife had the all you can eat soup and salad. Her first ground was the veggie salad and clam chowder. Both were really delicious. The second round for her was a bowl of chili with a Mozzarella and tomato salad. The chili was a bit too salty for her taste, but the salad was amazing. She ordered more mozzarella and tomato salad and this time had the tortilla soup. This soup had avocado in it and it was amazing. Her final order was for more of the mozzarella and tomato salad with the broccoli and cheese soup. For dessert, we enjoyed a cookies and cream, Pazooki and the triple chocolate, Pazooki. The food was pretty good, but the service was a little slower than I had hoped for. It took between six and 10 minutes to get a mug of hot water.What had begun as a quick lunch almost made us late for our appointment. But, I get the timing of food since I was a waiter many years ago. I just don't understand why it takes so long to get a cup of hot water. And maybe I'm just getting old, but the stereo system seemed to be a little heavy on the base. I could barely hear the notes, but I heard every thump of the base. I have dined at this location numerous times. My most recent visit was the most interesting service I have witnessed. Before dining, the waitlist via app is normally utilized. For this occasion, the app was unable to update in time, so a call to the automated system was made. Upon checking in, we were informed most automated phone reservations are dropped and encouraged to speak with someone directly in the future. Hence, our wait was not the zero to a couple of minutes as usual. Our sleek corner booth had a good view of one or two of the tv screens, and it was clean and dry upon being seated. As always, our food was delicious. I should mention, we had a size misunderstanding with our pizza order, and our 2nd order of wings was undercooked. The latter was graciously remediated. Also, a slightly hasteful busser caused a steak knife to directly fall between the legs of someone in our party. Surely an accident, but less of an apology was made. A lovely touch for our young patrons, the two in our party who received the children's menu, were each gratuitously served Goldfish crackers and mixed fruit while awaiting their ordered meals. Normally come here to eat with my partner- if not we order takeout, at least once a week. This week was different. We called and we were placed on hold for 20 minutes. It was a Tuesday at 9pm, so not rush hour. Also when my partner walked in to pickup the food, it was not busy whatsoever. My partner and I both ordered the rib eye steaks. I ordered mine medium, he ordered his medium rare. When we cut into the steaks; they were both rare. Like, cold in the middle, type of rare. Blood red on the inside. The outside of the steak was warm, so it wasn't like the food had been sitting. It wasn't what we exactly ordered, but we were starving. So we decided to eat it. 2 days later, we both have some type of food poisoning. This was also the ONLY food we have mutually shared, in a week. So we are 98% sure, it came from the steak. Very disappointing, considering this was our favorite restaurant in Moreno Valley. We will not be returning. From the service, to the quality of the steak. read more

I came in from out of state. My brother sought to invite our family out for dinner. He calls ahead to reserve seating for 8 by 5:30 PM. It ended up being 9 adults and two toddlers. Upon disclosing this information, the hostess's face was unwelcoming. I could not see what the big deal was as she's a simple hostess. It's her job to navigate seating. After waiting approximately 30 minutes for seating arrangements, we were lead to our seats by someone else. Two of my family members apologized to the hostess and all she could do in response is simple look at them and nod. The server for our group seemed charming. However, I did not stay to eat. I found a steak knife at a nearby table and since I was allowing my toddler to walk the area, I gained the attention of a server walking by. I said something along the lines of , "excuse me, I found this here." She simply grabbed it and walked away. These interactions ultimately ruined my vibe and I decided to leave. My family stayed. When I asked how it went the responses were: - "It was bunk. It's a good thing you left." - "my food tasted watered down" - "it was fine" - "it was fine" - "it went fine. GET THE CARAMEL PAZOOKIE! Honestly, my dessert at BJ's was one of the highlights of my day. It was a hot cinnamon roll in a cookie pan topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle! It's ooey-gooey goodness that will satiate a cinnamon roll lover's fantasies. FOOD: As for dinner, I ordered a "personal" pizza. According to my waiter it's perfect for one person. Unfortunately, it was way too small and was literally a mini pizza similar to the kid's menu version. I would order a size up if you're truly hungry. SERVICE: We were seated almost immediately, that's fantastic for a Sunday night! this is a popular BJ's location in moreno valley. my friends and i came around 4 pm on a friday afternoon. we were placed on the waitlist and stood outside for about 30 minutes. the servers and girl by the front were very friendly and had good attitudes. the food took a decent time to come out, but i had to give some grace because of how packed and crowded it was getting. i ordered the $13 pizookie meal with the smash burger. i thought it was a good deal. the others ordered the special for that friday, which was the prime rib deal. they had TVs lined up around the walls that enabled anyone from different angles to have a good view of what they were showing. the burger was a little sweeter for my liking, but i had a good experience here. read more

We arrived a little over an hour before closing, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty with plenty of staff on hand, the service was surprisingly slow. Our drinks came out almost at the same time as our food, which already set the tone for the rest of the visit. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. We had to send back our soups, coffee, and fries because they were cold. In fact, almost all of our food wasn't served at safe temperatures. Since we were hungry, we just ate whatever was edible, but it was far from an enjoyable meal. I've never had service this poor at any other BJ's location. This was our first time visiting the Moreno Valley restaurant, and it will likely be our last. It's disappointing that our group of seven had to deal with this, especially considering how expensive dining out has become. We still ended up paying full price, with barely any apology or acknowledgment for the inconvenience. I came here this past Tuesday evening for an early dinner around 4:30/5 pm. I had the Soup, salad, & pizookie combo. It took a while for the Wedge salad & Chili to come out. Then I ordered the Chicken Tortilla soup & the mozarella tomato salad. The Chicken Tortilla soup was terrible, so I ordered a Clam Chowder instead. I had the Strawberry Shortcake Pizookie and it was a bit undercooked. The service was a bit slow and it wasn't even busy. This location always has poor service. They cannot handle a big volume of people & the kitchen is always slow. It took forever for soup & salad. Too many bad experiences at this location, I would go to another location instead. read more
