4.5 - This is my second time coming, first time I just got drinks, second time I got a fish sandwich. Let me say that the atmosphere and the view of this place is All-Star. This place can lend itself to families or parties because there's plenty to do while you're waiting on your food or just sitting around drinking a cold beer. The atmosphere is better than the Florabama and cleaner. I got the grouper sandwich, a healthy portion and a great taste. Since I'm over critical of my food, I will say that they could throw a few more garnishes like lettuce, tomato, and onion. Don't be scared folks put it on there if we don't want it, we'll take it off. Service is really good at the bar and at the table. I'd go back to this place either on foot or by boat, if you haven't been, it's certainly worth a go. With all the TVs inside, this could be your false spot for Saturday college football. read more

Four people ordered different items, only one was good, the grilled Gulf shrimp. Now, for the other three, you tell me if you would enjoy this. 1) Boiled Crawfish: Peeled them all and the insides were brown and gray ... not a lick of white tail meat. It's like they sat in a cooler all day and then were served up. Flavor was mid but was reheated after it was cooked, so that is not good. But they should have known this, right? 2) Grilled Chicken Tenders: Not a lick of seasoning, tasted like boiled chicken with no flavor. 3) Pork Belly Tacos: Got two tacos, one had pretty bad pork belly slices and the other, well, was empty. Been here twice and it's pretty bad. I get it... The location and vibe is cool, and everyone really wants it to succeed but it's really not good. Every time, the food order takes over an hour to come out. Well, not exactly. SOME of your order will come out in 20 minutes. So one person gets to eat but the others will wait an additional 40+ minutes. I ordered the pork belly sandwich both times and both times it came out cold. The second time I used one of their compostable forks to try the early meal that came out and I unknowingly ended up eating some of the fork as it broke apart in the shrimp. Also, this second time I tried to order some oysters and was told it would take 45 minutes as they only have one person making them and they couldn't keep up with the orders. I guess I should have ordered them since 45 minutes was quicker than the the crappy, cold sandwich! Need to add, when I told the server that the sandwich was cold she didn't apologize, she asked if it was the pork belly as if she knew that that it would be cold. It only took about 10 minutes to get a new sandwich BUT... Guess what?! It was also cold. TL;DR: Go here for drinks only. Food and service is mediocre at best and terrible at average! read more

Heavily overcharged for food and drinks!! Food order was lost or forgotten about so I told staff and they apologized but now I'm wondering if I was charged twice for the food. Ask for receipts because I didn't which is my fault. I won't be back as a paying customer. read more

Even the WORST business owners will succeed in spite of themselves. That is the best way I can describe this place. Daddy bought them a nice piece of land on the water and built some docks. That alone will drive tourist traffic to it. The views are lovely. That's where the good part of the review ends. The food is inconsistent. It doesn't arrive together. Lacks real Cajun flavor. Food is grossly overpriced for what you get. Each time we've been there our party received their food staggered. And each time, by the time the last person got their food the first person was done eating. That really dampens the dining experience. Friends who have worked here have told me they wouldn't even eat there! Now that's saying something. Boaters beware. Locals have been talking about some concerns with the docks too. This place will stay open for years to come because of the location and tourist traffic in spite of its subpar food and high prices. I'll continue to go here for a beer sometimes because the views are nice, they have tv's and my musician friends have gigs here. But if I want to eat I'll go almost anywhere else. Most of my friends on Innerarity Point feel the same way. They all avoid this place and go to Hub's or The Point instead. First time here... quite the experience! Unique setup. Pavilion style, food & beverage trailers. Outside setting as well, sand area. We shared the combination oyster platter... very good! Also had fried shrimp with fries, the shrimp was excellent! Lightly battered, and large/juicy! And had the Brussel sprouts....wow! Outstanding!!! Forgot to take pictures...sorry! DOG FRIENDLY TOO!!! Bushwhacker's Landing Yelp review Been wanting to check out Bushwhacker's Landing for a year as they were building it. They had a soft opening last weekend and we finally had a chance to stop by tonight. Just as some other small restaurants that have opened in the past couple years, I am looking forward to this place being a local hangout year round. They have 11 TVs that can be seen from any seat in the house (and the benches in the sand). None of them were on when we stopped by tonight but with this many TVs and football season kicking off, I would expect they are going to be showing all of the games soon. They have "real" Bushwhacker machines, virgin daiquiri (that shots can be added to), beer on tap and cans, and a small choice of liquor. They also have a soda machine and lemonade in the center of the pavilion, so there are choices for everyone in your group. Right now they only have one place to order drinks and food so I can see the wait to order possibly getting a little long, but we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for our group to order drinks and food -- additionally, the food came out fast, fresh, and hot (the oyster shells are HOT so be careful). The staff was amazing! The bartender and the food runner were nothing but helpful and friendly, making great recommendations on food and drinks. After trying Bushwhacker's Landing for the first time, this will be a new regular hangout for my group of friends. Even though we want to keep this place a secret, I want it to succeed so come check it out -- grab a drink, a bite to eat and enjoy the view and live music. read more

This looked like a pretty good spot until we pulled in with our boat. We realized there were no cleats available on their pier. Also, we had no idea what we were supposed to do. There was no hostess or any employee to show us how to order. The food definitely was not great. The avocado toast was some of the most interesting avocado toast I've ever had-in a good way. My husband got the Wahoo grilled with fries and it was a VERY small portion and not that great. I hope this review helps them improve. read more

I'd say the food was just average. We kind of expected a different experience but we surprised when we had to order at the front of the restaurant and when it was ready it was brought to our table on paper goods. For their prices, I'd expect a full sit down experience on decent plates. But the food was good, just not what we expected. Oh, and they did have nice live music. read more

We ordered 2 fish tacos (hardly any fish on the tacos!), 2 cucumber salads (warm and wilted), corn and clam chowder (eh!), a beer, and a sprite (drank before we got our food)! Cost $79! The service at the bar where you order food and drinks was horrible! The guy rolled his eyes at us more than once! We waited an hour for our food which was terrible and not at all worth the money spent! We will never go back there again! Sorry no pics! Was so upset that we didn't think to take any! read more

The crawfish is fantastic !!! Some of the best in the area ! It' is a nice place to hangout on the Intracoastal and has a great view. You can go by boat or car. They have a very friendly staff ! read more

This being our first time it took a bit to figure out the lay of the land if tables were open or not. We ordered a burger and shrimp tacos. Both were really good. Loved being able to enjoy the music with outdoor seating. Nice place to go to enjoy the sunset with a casual vibe. read more

At first I was apprehensive about an "order at bar" and "we'll bring the food" type place. Generally the service is below par and food is often cold. Not so at Bushwhackers Landing. Friendly greeting by bartender, she told us to grab a seat and checkout the menu. Party of 4 we ordered 6 on half shell (happy hour price $1 per shell) 6 Rockefeller (they have 6 types of roasted oysters), grilled swordfish basket, chicken fingers basket, Bushwhacker salad, and some very cold draft beer (I had the 30a Beach Blonde). The oysters were out fairly quickly. The half shell were plump, briny and delicious, served NOLA style with horseradish, cocktail and saltines, the Rockefeller were also large and properly prepared. All the other entrees were very good especially the grilled swordfish. The servers were fast and friendly. The place has great views of the inter coastal and a family friendly giant sandbox.
