Loved this place so much! The service was great and the food was amazing. We sat outside on the balcony which was lovely.

We always have a great meal here. Y wife loves the salmon and I enjoy any of the catch of the day. This time was the mahi. We also had the fried green tomatoes which are just the right crispiness. The food comes out in a timely manner and we never run low on our drinks. We enjoy sitting on the balcony and being able to see the water albeit across the street, the view is still good. I am looking forward to trying other offerings.

Stopped in with our friends who are visiting from Saint Augustine. This review covers two visits during that period. The service comma has always was spot on, and our drinks were delicious! Our dishes were fresh and superb! During one visit; however, the char grilled oysters were overcooked. On subsequent visits, they were perfect as always! We will miss the spot as we are leaving the area for the season.

Overall 3.5 Stars Ambiance - 3.5 Stars. Located in the strip mall building across from the beach and condos, the restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the strip mall and has indoor and outdoor seating. When you enter the restaurant, the bar with about 20 chairs and several high top chairs are available, however there is an adjoining room where normal table top and chairs are available for couples to large groups. The outdoor seating are high top style, so if you have little ones, I recommend indoor seating. There is an aquarium with No and friends to keep the kids entertained and they provide crayons and coloring too. It is a popular restaurant so be ready to wait. Servers and other staff members: 4 Stars. Our server was friendly, professional, and easy going. The kids loved her and with our large group very accommodating with some orders. The helpers made sure we our drinks were filled and they were efficient with bringing our dishes to us. Food: 3.5 Stars We had a variety of different dishes, ranges from kids meal to more substantial dishes. If your kids enjoyed creamy cheeses noodles (Alfredo sauce) I would highly recommend this dish. All 4 kids ate it up! Also, they had chicken tenders and fries too. Main dishes 2 - 4 Stars Appetizer: 2.75 Stars Chargrilled Oysters (half dozen). The oysters were charred with a lot butter on it but it lacked some garlic and the oysters were little. They must have gone on a diet cuz, they were "skinny in the meat". BOURBON SALMON: 3.75 Stars seared fresh Atlantic Salmon w/ bourbon glaze, over wilted spinach & mashed potatoes. The salmon was slightly overcooked but the flavor of the seasoning was good. The mashed potatoes were whipped a little bit too much. It was the based for the salmon and spinach. The bourbon glazed was dark and not overly sweet. CARIBBEAN MAHI 2 Stars - freshly grilled mahi topped w/ pineapple salsa & lemon-garlic sauce w/ cilantro- lime rice & mixed veggies. The fish was ok. The pineapple salsa was lacking in flavor and the seasoning was an afterthought. Lowest Star rating in the review. Poke Bowl: 4 Stars Tuna & Escolar in Poke Sauce, Sushi Rice, Avocado, Seaweed Salad, Krab Salad, & Tamago. Presentation was beautiful. Each item was plated separately within the bowl. So if you prefer not to mix the ingredients the. This is perfect for you. However, it should be mixed so flavor is melded together. Only thing missing is the eel sauce. Also, i prefer straight tuna instead of tuna and escolar. The Esolar has a slightly different texture and firmness. It is deep sea fish with a oily buttery flesh which isn't flakey. Perdido Sushi: 4 stars Tempura Fried Shrimp, Cucumber & Cream Cheese, topped w/ Seared Tuna, Spicy Mayo Sauce & Eel Sauce. Dish was large enough for one person or to share with another person.

Spicy tuna nachos, salmon sashimi, flying fish roe nigiri.

I got the Spicy tuna nachos, salmon sashimi, and flying fish roe nigiri. My Spicy tuna nachos were amazing and so filling and the tuna was so fresh and the wontons were so crispy and I switched out the wasabi sauce for spicy mayo which was delicious. I also got salmon sashimi and omg it was amazing so fresh and delicious I can't even describe it but it's a must try for all the salmon lovers. On top of all my food I also got flying fish roe nigiri it was good and so fresh but they but put too much of the roe it started to taste salty and hard to eat but it was good. We had a table of ten and yet the service was amazing the food came out speedy and our waitress was so sweet she always came outside to check on us and brought all our request back in a blink of the eye. The place had such a cute ambiance there where like three areas the balcony area, the first dining room that was with the bar, and the second bigger dining room and the decor was cute and beachy.

The food was amazing and service is always a 10/10. Anything you order is going to be delicious. I think I've order everything you can get from here and it is never disappointing, always a staple for me!

Fantastic Experience--Even for a Non-Sushi Eater! We heard about The Jellyfish Bar & Grill from friends and decided to check it out while we were in town. I'll admit I was hesitant at first because I'm not a sushi eater, but this place was well worth the visit! We had been on the boat all day and showed up absolutely starving. Our waitress was awesome--super friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. We were so hungry I forgot to take photos before we started eating, but trust me--the portions were larger than what you'll see here! We started with two appetizers: Yellowfin Tuna Dip--The flavor was a little more mellow than I expected, but it was still very tasty and came with fresh pita chips. Fried Grouper Bites--These were absolutely perfect! Crispy, not greasy, and served hot. One of the best grouper appetizers I've had. For the main course: I had the Grilled Grouper Tacos--packed with flavor and grilled just right. My husband had the Shrimp Tacos--he raved about how fresh and delicious they were. Both taco dishes came with their unique house-made slaw--a crisp and colorful mix of shredded cabbage, red onions, and bell peppers that added the perfect crunch and brightness to every bite. It really set the tacos apart from your typical seafood spot. Our friends ordered sushi and could not stop talking about how amazing it was. Another friend tried a shrimp appetizer and said the sauce was incredible. For the kids, they offer the typical picky-eater menu, but our little one went with the Grilled Chicken Tenders. She liked them but admitted she would have preferred the fried version (totally her call!). We sat between a beautiful fish tank and the sushi bar, which gave the whole place such a cool, laid-back vibe. It made the experience feel special and relaxing. Pro Tip: Arrive early! This is clearly a popular spot, and once you visit, you'll understand why. Whether you're into sushi or not, The Jellyfish Bar & Grill is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

hosts waited for me to hold the door open for them without thanking me, they just glared at me. okay... bad day maybe? sushi was average. i was impressed with how good the upstairs of a shopping center looked as a restaurant though.

Fish and Chips Friday Special is very good and a LOT of food for the low price they charge. Hold off on appetizers until you try to eat it.

The Jellyfish remains my go-to for casual upscale dining. The ambiance is casual to upscale. You don't have to dress up to come in, but you can still enjoy an upscale experience with their menu and drink selections being higher scale than some of the other local hotspots. They are the closest Sushi bar to Perdido Key and they still roll out some great tasting sushi, with a very good assortment of choices. Bar seating is our normal spot, but most days, especially during the summer season, it's hard to find any seating without a 60+ minute wait. Other than the 15-20 seats at the bar, everything else requires checking in with the hostess, and during those busy months you need to check-in at the outside hostess booth to add your name to the waitlist - no call aheads, but they do text you when your table is ready, so after getting on the list, you can grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the balcony area with friends or meeting new people. The bartenders are great, always making great recommendations for food, drinks, and having good conversation when they're not too slammed. In addition to their sushi, they're known for their Martinis and have more recently been making Smoky Old Fashions. Anytime one of those passes me at the bar, the smoky smell makes me simultaneously think I am at a campfire and a bar, wanting one. Whether you're on a date or just out with friends, The Jellyfish is your spot on "The Key" to get the fresh seafood, sushi, steak, and more. Come check it out when you're in the area.

Had the sushi and Mai, and it was delicious and well cooked. Staff were very friendly and respectful. Wife had the grouper and also liked it.

Started with drinks at the bar while we waited. The strawberry tinis were overrated (too sweet, not strong enough), but the frozen bushwackers looked so good. The food quickly made up for the drinks. The tuna nachos were quick to come out and pretty good. The creole shrimp stack was sooo good! And so unique! It was the perfect size. Ambiance was good.

This lovely little spot is located upstairs in a strip mall. I have driven by and never gave it a thought-brilliant I was told how amazing it is. Never one to pass up a good recommendation-we checked it out. The atmosphere is casual dining;fun fishy accents and art with an aquarium in one of the dining rooms. There is outdoor seating available The place is pretty standard-the magic is happening in the kitchen! Grouper Pontchartrain, Snapper Atchafalya and the Local catch of Wahoo were all delish! 10/10

Waitress, Isabelle, was very attentive. Location is across from the main road (Perdido Key Drive), which is across from the beach. Restaurant is on the second floor which leads to a nicer ambiance overlooking the city view. No complaints regarding the food...all was tasty.

The Point is a laid back, casual joint with seating for groups of any size. There's plenty of parking out front, out back, and across the street. The space is charming and homey. We were seated right away and told about the many specials being offered. Since it was a Wednesday, we were given a generous military discount of 50% off appetizers so we couldn't pass on the potato skins. They were delicious. We also received 10% off our entrees. It was so nice to be recognized for our service. For my entree, I tried the blackened triple tail and it was fantastic! For my sides I had a baked potato and coleslaw. My better half had the country fried steak and he was so very pleased. He also tried the onion rings and enjoyed them greatly. The service put this experience over the top. All of the staff are friendly and efficient and made us feel so welcome and at home. We have been recommending The Point to everyone else we have met in town. This was the best way to end out 2025 and I hope 2026 brings us back here!

We decided to come here based on the reviews of other Yelpers and it did not let us down! The atmosphere is really cool, and I loved looking around at all the dollar bills left behind by other diners over the years. We ordered the Hub Sampler so we got to try a little bit of every classic fried item on the menu. It included fried mushrooms, pickles, mozzarella, and then corn fritters. It was great and had something for everyone! Each of us ordered a sandwich and then one chef salad to split. Because we were also eating a sandwich, the salad was big enough for 4 people to share. It was really big for an entree salad! Everything was good and fresh. My husband and I split The Main Street with potato salad. It's a yummy take on a club sandwich. The standout of the entire meal though was the potato salad. It is a must try. I haven't stopped thinking about it since and I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a to go order to bring back home with me!
