I have never come here and NOT received stellar customer service and delicious food. The burgers are generously sized and seasoned to perfection. Five guys has nothing on them. The food is cooked right in front of you after you order and served hot and fresh to you. The burgers are FRESH hand packed patties, nothing frozen. Fries are fresh cut and wings are crispy and piping hot. The only thing I don't like is that you have to pay for a dipping sauce for your hot wings. It should come with @ least one to an order. Not many places can make a Turkey Burger, but they got it right. Ordered a single with American, Pickles, Lettuce and Mustard. Combo with Fries and Drink. Very tasty burger and the right size. Most places make Turkey burgers waaayyy to thick for some odd reason. The best part was the Seasoned Fresh Cut Fries!!! Yeeeessss!! I had a crave for a burger and this place truly satisfied my hunger. If you want something on a scale above McD's, BK, JBox and 5's....you're on the right track with Busloop Burgers. The burgers are juicy, flavorful. I loved that there were options to choose from. The service was fast and good. I would say the ambiance needs a little work. The floor had not been mopped and they were greasy/slippery. The servers were semi-friendly. We were welcomed upon entering, but nothing after that. Can customize your burger with between 1-3 small patties and your choice of toppings, or order one of their specialty burgers. There are so many free toppings to choose from! I had them add mayo, thousand island, pickles, raw onions, lettuce, tomatoes and grilled mushrooms. So good! As my side, I got onion rings which were also tasty. The restaurant is casual, in a strip mall and you order at the counter. I really wanted to like this place. I had been eyeing their burgers for a while because of their reviews and photos. Maybe I came on an off night, but I'll start by commenting that the two stars are strictly for the hand sanitizer and the cashier. We waited over 15 minutes for our orders when it wasn't very busy, but we brushed it off in hopes that the food would make up for the long wait time. Very (very) sadly, it did not. The bag was soaked in grease by the time we got home. The burgers were over cooked and under seasoned. My burger patty was dry but somehow greasy at the same time. My husband's burger was supposed to be a cheddar melt, but the cheese was burnt. There was zero seasoning in either one of the burgers. The fries were undercooked as well. The tots could have used a couple more minutes in the deep fryer. We literally could not finish our meal. I think the worst part about this experience was that we waited way too long and paid nearly $30 for two burgers and two sides that we couldn't finish. read more

Based upon local reviews I chose Bus Loop Burgers for dinner for my family. I ordered online and was told by the app that our order would be ready by 7:45 pm. I arrived at 7:40 and at 7:45 asked the counter if my order was ready. The young lady checked and said it would be another 10 minutes. I understood and sat down to wait. I waited for 10 minutes and waited another five minutes before asking about my order. I had seen one of the cooks place food in a bag 10 minutes before but assumed this was someone else's order. I asked the counter again if my order was ready and found that the order had been sitting there and no one bothered to let me know. The fries and onion rings were cold and I complained. The cook told me it would be another 10 minutes. I asked how are the burgers going to be hot after sitting for over 20 minutes. The cook refused to remake the burgers so I told him to cancel my order altogether. He called his boss who told him he would not refund the purchase but would remake the burgers so everything was done at the same time. After another 15 minutes my food was ready, I took my order and left. The food was not bad but the service was absolutely terrible. This was my first time ordering food there and it will be my last. A restaurant/fast food place should have figured out how to provide the food they serve in a timely manner and that is not the case here. read more

Love love love this place, and I'm SO happy they're opening a second location in Ferguson. Bus Loop has become one of our go to places, even though we don't live near it. It's absolutely worth the drive to get the best burger I've had in STL. They're always wonderfully topped, fries are bomb, onion rings are great, and milkshakes are also on point. About to try their burgers because of all I've heard. The cashier was cool and she greeted us. I told her this was our 1st time there and she was like okay with no suggestions, but I guess I'll charge that to her being young. I asked for a sunnyside up egg, the young lady that was cooking the burgers said they don't do sunny side up eggs (I believe they may fry them hard, im unsure) and had a bothered attitude while saying so because I said I didn't want the egg. I don't know why that pressed her, but okay. The funky attitude she had I don't know why, there was literally NOBODY in there. Everybody is entitled to a bad day, but hey I am a new customer and my fat ass like to eat and I would return if it was worth it. I notice the young guy that was doing the door-dash orders was just sliding people their bags, barely replying or acknowledging them when they said thank you and have a nice day. Anyway, to the food....The burger was cool, not great, but not bad either. The fries seem to be a knockoff from Wingstop, they were okay. The cashier stayed busy keeping the seating area clean. Wasn't bad, more like just okay. This was second time and I wasn't overly enthusiastic about having it a second time. This time I had a sourdough bacon Swiss supreme. We also asked for fries and cheese on the side. The sourdough was mushy and falling apart under the burger. Which the burger itself was fine and the bacon was on point. Funny thing is the fries we were given were the sweet potato.....although we assumed when you asked for just fries you'd get the regular fries. Thankfully the one thing I really do like more there than anywhere else is their sweet potato fries. You get big portions, although often too big for fries and a lot go to waste even with my husband and I sharing an order.
