Husband called last weekend because our truck had an oil leak. Asked about them looking at the truck to see where the leak was coming from. They told him to bring it in so they could look at it. My husband asked about being charged to look at the truck and they said there would no charge to look at it. Had our parents drop the truck off for them to look at and again, we confirmed both on the phone and in person that there would be no charge to look at the truck. Husband call the next day to inquire about the truck and they told him it was looked at the day before (never called to let us know we had to reach out) at quoted him an outrageous price (4200). My husband declined the work and then they changed what they said multiple times and told him we would have to pay for them to look at the truck even though he was told multiple times that there would be no charge to look at it. Be careful when you go here and make sure to get everything in writing. Told us multiple times one thing but changed their mind when we wanted to get another opinion on our truck. Customer service could also use some work. Both time our parents dropped off and picked up truck the guys sitting at the table failed to acknowledge them and left when they saw them come in. To top it off, the quoted 4200 on the phone but gave our parents an invoice with what work needed to be competed and the price was HALF of what they quoted..... We took the truck to another shop and the leak wasn't even coming from where they said it was. It was something completely different. They wanted to charge us for leaks that weren't even there. Be careful when taking your vehicle here. Edit after phone call: This is not a he said she said. This is a case of poor communication. After something is confirmed multiple times, why all of a sudden was it changed after we declined the work? The shop that my truck is currently in was happy to take a look at our truck with no charge to determine what was wrong. Yes, our parents signed for the truck because they were forced to because you would not give them the truck with having to pay the charge. My husband did call multiple times before picking up the truck and no one wanted to work with him. Edit after response: your response should tell anyone your character and how you treat customers. My husband knew very well that reviews were going to be posted because he suggested it. He was not aware that I posted it when I did which is why he stated what he did. Calling a customer a liar is a great response. Were you even there? Did you interact with my parents? It is funny that your story has changed....you stated you greeted them right away but now your grandma was sweeping the shop while other customers were being attended to? There were no other customers. A guy on the phone and a guy on the computer. Almost 10 minutes to even get someone to help. The second time, 2 guys eating and only after the same amount of time one went outside to get someone to help. I guess they didn't want to be bothered during their lunch time. It's interesting you know that my truck is still in the shop when it is actually sitting in front of this beautiful cabin we are enjoying in the mountains because the shop we took it to actually took the time to look it over completely and actually diagnose the leak correctly and not overcharge us for something that was not leaking. You really think we would trust you with our trailer if this is how you treat customers and perform work? I would take my trailer to the dump before I would bring it to your shop. And who is the liar.....it is now 2 hours to make yourself look good but you told Lee 1 hour on the phone ‍ but I thought you didn't really read yelp.....seems that you do if you keep coming back to this review and responding Just beware.....if you share your experience and this business owner does not like it, he will call you a liar and "accidentally" delete the thread. Use caution when dealing with this company. The difference between this company and the others I reviewed about my experience is that they reached out to help with a solution instead of attacking me because they didn't like my review. That is the point of yelp....to share experiences with others.

Two trucks servicing my trailer is the kinda care you get with Busted Knuckle!

My trailer is a high end, fairly unknown Princess Bowlus Road Chief. Like maybe 100,000 of them on the road. So when I have to get her repaired or looked over I get super stressed. I called in a Busted Knuckle because they seemed to know a lot about a lot. I mean let's be real, rvs and trailers are moving homes. You gotta be a fancy handy man who also knows cars right? Aaron was amazing. He set me at ease right away. He was up in her business and had her taken apart, knew what was going on and what was what in 20min. They ain't cheap, but they are FAIR and HONEST. I appreciate the good communication and the clear billing. Would use them again and highly recommend for anyone in the Vegas area.

During that visit, he had to leave and return with parts. He determined that a brush block was needed, which had to be ordered, requiring a second visit on 8/14. During the second visit, the brush block was installed, but the generator still surged and shut down under load. We were ultimately told the carburetor was the remaining issue. We were initially billed $1,815.21, including 5.25 hours of labor for the two visits. We have Ring camera footage showing the technician was at our property for approximately 3 hours on the first visit and less than an hour on the second. I questioned the labor charges because I was not aware that travel time was billed or that there was a 1.5-hour minimum. When I asked for an explanation of the billing policy and where those additional labor charges came from, I was immediately offered a discount rather than an explanation. I declined the discount because I wasn't looking for a discount. I wanted the billing explained. After further discussion, 1.25 hours of labor were removed from the invoice, bringing it to $1,589.90, which I paid. What bothered me most was the lack of transparency and how the dispute was handled. After my husband left a review, the owner privately messaged him and accused us of "not giving a hoot to ripping a business off." That was an extremely unprofessional response to a customer who was simply questioning the charges on their invoice. I paid the corrected invoice, but based on this experience, I will not be using Happy Hals again.

He also advised my husband that he is closed on weekends even though his hours states open on Saturday and closed Sunday. Again, I don't mind waiting but just a simple communication would have been helpful is all. If the business doesn't operate on weekends then the hours on Yelp should be adjusted accordingly. ******************************************* I truly wished to have the same positive experience as the five-star ratings, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. On Friday, June 13th, I reached out to Fixin Dixon Mobile RV through a message on YELP regarding an issue with my shower, which was spurting water due to a cracked plastic piece. Bill responded quickly, provided his cell number, and suggested I contact him on Saturday morning. Sounds great, right? That's what I thought! Since we were out of town and I was attending an all-day conference, my husband stepped in to reach out. He left a voicemail, and Bill eventually returned the call to schedule a time to inspect our shower. We arranged for him to come on Thursday, June 19th. During the visit, Bill informed my husband that he would check a few places for a replacement part. My husband followed up on Friday, June 20th, only to hear that Bill had been unable to find the part and would look at Home Depot. He mentioned that we might need to replace the entire shower faucet, but we haven't heard from him since, and now it's Monday, June 23rd. I don't mind waiting, but a lack of communication from a business is frustrating. In short, my husband managed to find a temporary part while we look for a more reliable service. I advise proceeding with caution! You might have a great experience, or you could end up disappointed like I did.
