Travelling enroute to California, our RV was having power issues just outside Vegas, and after checking all the so-called "great" reviews, we decided to get towed to the Auto Medic location in Henderson. First off, they're not 24 hours. We had to wait overnight at their shop to be seen. They performed a diagnostic, which took several hours, as the tech had to keep asking "Siri" about the engine, and how to perform certain tests. HUH?! They finally determined that our fuel injectors were toast, and as they couldn't just get parts for it, they would all need to be rebuilt. A couple of weeks and about $10,000 they said! They suggested we stay at an RV Park and they would come out the next day to start the process of removing the fuel injectors. Well, they didn't call, didn't show. But it was a damn good thing. We got the name of a recommended RV Service Centre in Vegas and took it there for their diagnostic. Nothing wrong with our engine or the fuel injectors. Just a sensor miscommunication. An absolute nightmare was averted because they didn't bother to show up. Thank God. They were ready to outright scam us on this "problem". If they took those injectors out, we'd still be there. After getting the all-clear from a reputable company, we continued on.. eventually driving over 6,000 miles without a fuel injector problem. They do not know what they are doing .. stay away!!! The Honest Mechanic: Great is Not A Big Enough Word Like many, 2020 was the worst year of my life. Lost my job, my wife lost health, we lost money... 2021 didn't seem to change that. After driving through Vegas, I heard a sound that every driver dreads: a large, continuous thudding noise that shook our Jeep. The axle on our utility trailer that carried our entire lives in it, BROKE. Amazingly, the tire, while wobbling, managed to somehow not fall off while driving. Little did I know, that no mechanic nearby who had a garage would work on a utility trailer due to liability. So we did what most people do, we went on google and yelp. We needed a Mobile Mechanic to meet us where we were (we couldn't drive) who had great reviews. That's where Shane comes in. It's often hard to trust reviews (let alone mechanics), but every one of the glowing reviews was correct. Shane showed up within an hour and gave us an honest assessment. He was friendly, personable and positive. He then left and spent the next few hours rebuilding the axle. Nerve wracking to wait and I didn't have enough to cover the extra hours due to my situation. He did it without complaint and with empathy. That's when Shane not only showed what kind of mechanic he is, but what kind of person he is as well. He could've walked away and left us stranded but he didn't. He has a kind heart and these types of people are going to be rewarded in life. He came back with a stronger axle and installed it. Bad Service. Mechanic arrived on time but was looking up the manual while on site since he was not familiar with my leveling system. Had to call another mechanic for recommendations and finally ended up calling the support line and was on hold for a long time since he did not know what to do. I had to tell him to wrap it up as he said he was billing by the hour while being on hold. I ended up paying for over an hour of service that didn't result in anything really conclusive. Be careful when dealing with them and make sure you keep an eye out on what they are doing or else you'll be paying for hold time...will not use again. read more

Shane is an absolute superstar. Had a problem with my RV generator and needed it fixed ASAP because I was camping at EDC. Called him Thursday morning and he quoted me a window between 12pm-3pm. He then called again asking if I could reschedule because he was super booked. I explained the urgency and he still managed to squeeze me in at 1pm same-day. He was very knowledgeable and did thorough work, which I really appreciated. Ended up being a simple fix. Turns out, my shut-off valve wasn't open and the gen wasn't getting fuel. We came to Vegas and had a huge problem that our washing machine had stopped working. We were scared to death that we knew no one here that could fix our problem but decided to try Auto Medic as they had great reviews and so many people felt good about doing business with them. Let me say to you Shane and my husband agreed on 8 am and Tyler was here at 8 am! I really appreciate Tyler's prompt arrival! Tyler assessed the problem and got to work on replacing our washing machine. They were able to get a replacement washer here immediately when Home Depot and Lowe's both said they could not get a machine here for 2 months! Then went to task to remove our broken machine (which was NO EASY TASK as the washer and dryer are stacked and attached to one another) and replace the washer with a new machine. Shane took care of my Nissan GTR after a random mishap with a towing company, causing damage to my axle. After calling his number, he dispatched Tyler immediately and his technician arrived within 30-40 minutes to inspect the vehicle. After the damage was assessed, we towed it to Shane's place. He took about 2 weeks, but managed to secure everything in place and the car drives just fine now. He also located various other bolts missing and took care of the vehicle to his best ability. Please keep in mind that im a 55 year old widow and that my rv is my home and this mechanic is well aware of that ..8/2024 I called my escapees roadside service requesting a mobile mechanic to fix a fuel line that goes from my carb to my mechanicle fuel pump and to diagnose and service my generator and to replace the fuel sending unit prior to them my rv turned on and ran good only problem was a tiny hole on tphe fuel line but no actual sings of fuel leaking but to prevent any further damage I wanted it repaired and replace my fuel sending unit and asked to have my generator diagnosed and serviced and the mechanic fixed the fuel line and started the rv with no problem checked that it was runing good then he removed the fuel sending unit and then the fallowing week he came and worked on the generator and he didnt complete the diagnosis he said it was making bad contact noice or a short and that he had to get Shane his boss to come and diagnose it becouse he didnt know to much about it but left everything uncoverd and partly conected then he said hr could not find the fuel sending unit yet so he put the one he removed back and left did not even start or try to start the rv to make sure it was starting and running before he left.i did not need to move my rv till a couple of days latter when i found out that it would not crank at all..called auto medic and texted them about the issue and they did not respond so i had to call road side membership and had my rv towed to d.i auto and truck service were it was diagnosed and i was told it was my fuse block and wire harness had melted and that it was due to a short conected to the generator wireing.had to pay 612.00$ for the diagnosis and 460$ for the tow back to my sons house .asked the auto medic to provide me with his buisness license and certification and Shane the auto medic owner refused to provide me with.so i can verrify that my roadside service used a licenssed and certified mechanic to do my service call .after reaching out to him again and informing him about the diagnossis that the rv shop did he finaly after threatning to file a complaint and going to media he verry rudly and arguing that he was not at fault and that d.i shop that diagnossed it was wrong and lieing about the diagnossis to overcharge me and said that he coulkd fix it for less then 40$ and continued to argue and refuse to fix it.his excuse is that my son told him to stop arguing and fix it my son did not touch him or threatened him just asked him to do what he needed to do and to not take advantege of me his mom.Shane promised he would come this monday 9/16 /2024 to fix the issue but wanted me to pay him again ..filling a complaint with DMV complience enforcement and all and any other agency and media to prevent this from happening to other victoms of auto repair mechanics shady neglegence and iresposible way of comiting fraud PASSING THE BLAME OR ACUSING OTHER MECHANICS OF MISLEADING AND FRAUD AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT..1 STAR ONLY CUS I CANT POST GIVING THEM A MINUS STAR.ASKING ANY ONE THAT CAN HELP ME WITH ANY ADVICE TO PREVENT THIS OR TO HELP ME GET THIS REVUE OUT TO SOCIAL MEDIA BY SHARING IT PLEASE THIS NEED TO STOP....ALSO THIS BUISNESS IS NOT BBB or REGISTERED IN THE NEVADA DMV LICENSSED AUTO REPAIR REGISTRY AS I UNDERSTAND ITS THE LEGAL WAY TO CONDUCT THIS TYPE OF BUISNESS... read more
