Came back after a great experience the first time we stopped by! And this time there was live music which was awesome!! We got a table and ordered some food. I got the fish & chips which is a classic. The fish & chips are made with Cod which was abolutelty delicious. The fish was fried to perfection and moist on the inside. They give it with the signature malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The fries are utter perfection. OMG I could've had a whole basket of fries and die happy. Its amazing!!! Again, love the bartenders! They are so friendly and funny. Great time!!

I don't even know where to start this place is so fantastic. The service is amazing and the staff are friendly would be. After 10 they open the doors and share the imperial next-door and the live music can be heard on both sides. The drinks are perfectly proportioned. The food is savory and Hearty, I would recommend coming here for dinner or as part of any bar crawl.

Great Moscow Mule! I loved the atmosphere and decor of the place. The service was great and their cocktails were good. I didn't get to try the food but it all looked delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Larry loves Irish food and when we saw the Sullivan House served it we knew we had to try it. We got there just as they were opening and were given a friendly greeting. After perusing the menu we decided to split the Scotch egg as a starter. It's a boiled egg wrapped in sausage deep fried and served with a sweet onion relish. Neither of us had ever had one but we thought it was great and will definitely order again. For his meal Larry had corned beef and cabbage. He said it was probably the best he ever had. I ordered Shepherds pie. The meat is a blend of lamb and pork which is mixed with carrots, peas, celery and onions topped with rosemary mashed potatoes served with soda bread. I really liked it too.

This was a first time visit to The Sullivan. There are dark wooden booths lining the walls with a bar in the back. There is a stage front and center at the window. The service was great, and the server nice. She spoke to me about some local event that was happening when I inquire about it. The food was a little disappointing. I found the fish needed salt. There was a little heat but it lacked the proper seasoning. Next time maybe I'll try the Shephard pie.

This is a cute bar more of Irish bars, so if you enjoy whiskey and bourbon, they have a wide variety. The inside of the place is very wood centric and rustic. Super cute and the bartender are super attentive.

What a hidden gem. I love everything about Sanford and this may be my new favorite place! Variety of beers, Irish whiskeys and cocktails. We had the Scottish egg and Fish and chips. Both dishes were very good. The fish was crispy and egg was great (according to my husband). I don't do eggs. Several beer selections and our bartender was great! Joe was engaging, informative and entertaining. He was very welcoming and probably a big reason we will return. Hope you get the opportunity to check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Menu- it seems to change on occasion.

Loved this place! Live music. Seat yourself. Place order at the bar. Sounds chaotic, but it totally works. There are servers who do deliver food and check on you. I had onion rings and a wedge salad with the Sullivan option (Parmesan cheese, bacon and a balsamic reduction). I didn't see much bacon on it (the Sullivan addition was $4 extra), but the server was amazing and brought out a small cup of cut bacon! She was awesome! My husband had the shepherds pie. Ohhh my! So good! The bartender forgot to put in his order, but it came out quickly enough. He was given a free Guinness while he waited. The staff were so good! The drinks were perfect- I had the Irish old fashioned x2!

We went here for thanksgiving eve aka blackout Wednesday lol. I hadn't been here in ages. Authentic Irish pub with authentic Irish food and bartender. The food was great, we ordered shepherd's pie, onion rings and a corned beef sandwich. Seeing they had Screwball, I taught the bartender how to make a Pb&J! I like they had a small private room for around 8 people, maybe?

When you can honestly say that everything you had at a restaurant was the best of that thing you've ever had, that's saying something. I doubt anyone in Seminole County will argue the best Shephard's Pie is at The Sullivan. But you'd be hard-pressed to not include they also have the best Scotch Egg AND best Bread Pudding. I arrived as the first patron today because there is NO WAY I'm getting in here tomorrow (St. Patty's). This huge, lovely, and lively pub-taurant even has an Irish Snug - a small dining area with a booth next to the bar where you can sit and enjoy putting faith in your begorra (first come, first served). Fortunately, they also carried my preferred whiskey (Irish Mist). The Scotch Egg was excellent and don't forget to slap a bit of that sweet onion relish on top. But that pie - oh my! Spectacular. Delish mashed over perfectly seasoned lamb and pork with yummy peas - I passed on adding cheese and think I made the right call. You don't need anything extra on this dish - it is perfection as served. I said "what the hell" and ended with the bread pudding...and saw God. Not really, but pretty damn close because it was fantastic - and I'm not even a huge fan of bread pudding. This was, maybe, the second time in my life I'd ever ordered it. Absolutely delicious meal and would highly recommend dining at The Sullivan. Sláinte!

I walked in, saw FREE arcade games, and immediately knew I wasn't leaving for at least three hours or until someone unplugged the machines. The drinks? Cheap. Like "did they forget to charge me?" cheap. I had to double-check the receipt to make sure I didn't accidentally order a kid's menu lemonade. And the food? Exactly what you want at a place like this. Not fancy. Not complicated. Just good. The kind of food that hits perfectly after a couple drinks and three rounds of Pac-Man abuse. Now let's talk about the real MVP: Kristine -- the best bartender in the building, the city, probably the state. She's fast, funny, remembers everyone, and pours like she's trying to fix your whole week. If you go and she's working, consider yourself blessed. If she's not working... honestly just come back when she is. Overall, Throwbacks is the perfect mix of nostalgia, cheap drinks, good food, and Kristine being an absolute legend behind the bar. Highly recommend. If you see me there losing to a 10-year-old at Street Fighter, mind your business.

We we waited over 25 minutes to try and order our drinks and never got one so the guy next to us was friends with the bartender and ordered from her (both bartenders were blonde didn't catch there names or I would write it) and when he gave us the drinks he ordered for us, She got pissed that we ended up being able to order a drink so I don't know what is going on with this establishment, but your bartenders are horrible and rude and lose you a lot of money from business. For our concert, the venue set up a Coleman cooler of water and small free water cups by the entry, but they did not make an effort to refill the water jug, so we got quite dehydrated and unhappy halfway through. Liquid death cans and cups of ice can be purchased for about the same cost as alcohol at the bar. Nutrl was only $6 and change, I was thrilled! The sound quality was EXCEPTIONAL! Kudos and a half to Tuffy's for excellent balance and not blowing our eardrums. The light show, meh, too many dark blends, too moody and could barely see the band. When most lit up, I enjoyed seeing the stage. The place got very crowded, very quickly. They need crowd control and to not overpack concert goers like sardines. The outdoor bierhall vibe was chill but was basically a refuge for chainsmokers :( Would def go back, but have clear expectations, multiple water cans in pockets, and very very supportive shoes for tha concrete floor.

We ordered Onion Rings, fried calamari, and the Tex-Mex Eggrolls, which were all freshly fried and delicious. For my entrée I went with the full rack of ribs, a side of skewered shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. The ribs were super tender and all of the sides were cooked perfectly and had plenty of great flavor. I ordered one of their holiday drink specials, the Cookie Butter Old Fashioned but ended up switching to a traditional old fashioned because this one was a bit too sweet for me. I also closed out my meal with an Espresso Martini which was excellent. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and there were plenty of leftovers to go around for those that wanted them. We usually go to Texas Roadhouse for our holiday celebration but they don't have tables big enough for larger groups which means we will have to sit a two separate tables. This year we wanted to try something different and Duffy's worked out perfectly. Great Job Duffy's, we will be back!
