I'm a person who asks a lot of questions, and with every email I sent, I would get a same day reply from Phil. I did not get the sense that he was bothered at all. Sometimes I'd email, and sometimes I'd call him. Phil was not pushy to try and sell me a garage door, or to even go with the most expensive door. He had recommendations, but these were more of an FYI, because I no nothing about garage doors. Deciding on which business to go with was difficult, but I ultimately decided to go with Phil because the price was a bit better than the other business. Since I am having a lot of work done in the garage, any savings definitely helped. I was promptly notified when the door was delivered and scheduled for install in a decent timeframe. On the day of install, I received a text confirming both Ron and Chris were en route. I was event provided a link, so I could track where they were. They both arrived within the arrival window and got straight to work. They finished by the expected time they provided, and made sure to leave the garage nice and clean. They explained how to use the remotes and all the settings. The door is really quiet! I never thought a door could be that quiet. We had the liftmaster side mount opener installed, so there is no belt/pulley system taking up ceiling space. The garage door looks amazing! Our old door was plain, so I added magnetic hardware to spruce it up. Because the new door has a nice WOW factor to it, I won't be using the magnets. I'd highly recommend giving Phil a call if you are thinking about having a new door installed.

I called a company 3 years ago called Garage Door and Gate Repair, they replaced a broken garage door spring(s) both have to be replaced. The person who showed up took advantage of the situation and sold me on purchasing "heavy duty" with an extended warranty (7 yrs). Something didn't seem right and I didn't want another problem with the springs breaking causing perhaps more damage to the opener, cars underneath, etc... so I called Dave, had him come and inspect the springs. He made some calculations and said the springs installed were actually undersized and Not heavy duty? And by law regular spring should last close to 10yrs. Had him change out the springs and paid half of what I paid the other guy and got "real heavy duty spring" and a 15 year warranty. Thanks Dave for educating me on garage spring(s) sizing and not taking advantage like the other guy. Everyone: Please do yourself a favor, go ahead and call around ask how much to replace your garage door springs, if they don't give you the price mentioned on Dave website don't do it, unless you like throwing money away?

Jay immediately started framing and when the glass pieces came in, he and his crew came out and finished the framing and installation. We bought a new house and remodeled the guest shower. We've used a different shower glass company multiple times in the past for our last house we remodeled and LOVE that company but figured this time around we could try Glass Guru for this newly remodeled shower because they are more local and our previous experience with them was great! Unfortunately, this experience was subpar, 2/5 stars (hence my 3/5 star rating, I split the difference between my two experiences with this company). Setting up the estimate appt was easy and they came out quickly. The estimate arrived promptly as well. We decided to pull the trigger and that's slightly where it went downhill. Due to the tile we used, I did ask the estimator Jay what option would be best. Floating shower doors or a set up that had metal trim around the whole thing that holds the glass in a more sturdy manner.. he said either would work. When the guys came to install, they didn't really seem to know what they were doing. The end result looked very sloppy, the clear silicone looked like it was pasted on by a 5 year old and a black trim piece placed along the bottom was crooked. When I mentioned this to Jay, he said he would happily replace the trim piece but would need to order it. When I told him this was our only real "complaint" he followed up with a statement "well, so I have a complaint now, the tile you used is really thin". Um, ok, what does that have to do with this situation?! I asked from the beginning what shower glass would be best and was told that any would be ok but now we're talking about how thin my tile is?! What a very odd statement to make to a customer AFTER install. This should be assessed prior to install AND I asked what glass set up would be best for our shower. Anyhow, 2-3 weeks went by after mentioning all of this and complete silence. I had to actually call to ask when this new trim piece would be installed and then they finally set up the appt. When a customer has an issue with something, they shouldn't be the one to have to call and follow up, right? The same kids came to install the new piece and they did a better job but as I sit here today writing this, no one has followed up with me to see how everything looks now. The customer service is non existent with this company. I will definitely be returning to Exquisite Shower Glass in Corona for my next shower remodel, not Glass Guru. They might be good at some glass related things but sliding shower glass doors don't seem to be it.

Ethical, professional, and courteous! Over the years, I have hired many different contractors for my rental in Wildomar. It's very hard to find someone who is skillful yet ethical and courteous. When I made the garage door service call to Busy Bee, I wasn't even sure what I would expect. Kyler took my call. The door was bent from the middle and very hard to pull open. From the moment I discussed the problem with him, I knew this is the right guy for the job - someone who knows what he is doing and will work hard for you and save money for you type. Before I called him, my warranty company (Fidelity Home Warranty) sent out Castle Construction to "fix" the problem. Their diagnosis was: the bent door was my problem nothing else was wrong, therefore the home warranty would not cover the door repair. I have to say these people are losers. They did not even care to call me to let me know what was going on. Something I was later told by the warranty company that I need to pay to replace the entire door. They will not cover anything. Then Kyler came out, it turned out, the Spring was the wrong type for the door, rollers, balance were all bad - the problems that the home warranty company should have paid for. Guess what, Castle Construction was the one who put on the springs several years back! So Kyler replaced the spring, re-balanced everything, fixed the bent foor for a fraction of the cost. Now the door works great again. Backing with his diagnosis and invoice, I am now running after the Home warranty company to get my money back. read more

Great Job!!! I'm a Firefighter in a big metropolitan area and was at work unfortunately when the garage door malfunction. I call this other company who attempted to explain to me all this work that needed to be done $$$$...Oh wait did I mention this same company "fixed" this garage issue 2 1/2 months ago. So trusting in my instincts told the service person "Thanks but, No Thanks". He went on to charge us $92.00 for there service fee...Didn't touch a thing...I call Busy Bee Garage Door spoke with a pleasant lady who said she will squeeze us in and will send someone asap to repair the door. I wasn't expecting much especially after the last garage door service. All I can say is Busy Bee Garage Door Repair sent repair guy name Lance is as advertised..."GREAT SERVICE, PROFESSIONAL, AND RELIABLE!!! I can see why Caleb at Busy Bee gets five stars from so many people. We got a new Liftmaster installed by him last December. Today something happened and I got an error message on the Door Opener panel and the door would not close. So I called him. He answered directly and gave me all the time I needed to describe the problem and he offered to come out to take care of it but he walked me through the entire process of fixing it over the phone. He was real clear in his instructions and very patient with me as I went through the steps. And sure enough what he had me do worked. problem solved. He still offered to come out if anything went wrong. Never once did he give me the feeling that he had better things to do than hang out on the phone while I stumbled around on my end. Very gracious and very personable. The man deserves all the success that comes his way. Cannot tell you how important customer service is and Caleb is top notch if not over-the-top in making sure that you are taken care of. Highly recommend this man and his business. read more

After dealing with multiple garage door companies in the area i finally met with Busy bee garage doors. I had alot of estimates and two companies come out and try to fix my door. Both left unsuccessful and claimed my only option was to replace the door. My door is the old style pop up garage door .None of the companies i dealt with were familiar enough with these old doors to know what was causing the issue. At this point i was expecting to spend way more money than i was able to at the moment, and go ahead and replace the door. Caleb came out and immediately knew what the problem was. Instead of trying to upsell me he was able to special order the parts and had my garage door functioning good as new. A Few things i learned after dealing with all these different companies is 1 ) busy bee is very competitively priced, 2) their customer service is way above the rest , and 3) it really pays to have things done right the first time. I highly recommend Busy Bee Garage Doors Inc. My dogs chewed my wires that went to the safety light/beam, and I could not close my garage door. I called on a Sunday, and we made an appointment for him to come out on Monday. I am sure he would have came out on Sunday if I felt that I really needed him too, but I was lucky enough to be able to over ride the safety feature, and get the door closed. Caleb Oliver Owner/Operator, said he could fix my wires and service my garage door for a fair and good price. I was happy with the price, and the fact that his only opening was later in the day, but I needed him to come out earlier, and he did. He showed up at the time he said he would. Our garage door completely came out of the tracks, bolts were torn from the sheet metal, and panels were ripped apart. I thought for sure we were going to need to replace the door. Busy Bee came out and even though they realized I thought and was prepared to replace it, they fixed it instead. Not only did they fix the door, they came out the same day and fixed it in under an hour. Furthermore, when I thought we would be replacing the door, I called all over the tri-city area to get quotes. Busy Bee was the best priced company out there. Caleb was referred to me by my contractor. Had no problem getting a hold of Busy Bee Garage Doors. They responded promptly, showed up in the time window as promised, had everything with him and was super efficient. Told me what exactly I needed to do and didn't try to sell me any more. Keep in mind he was supposed to come out and install a garage door opener I was told by Garage Door Specialists needed replacing. Turns out it wasn't even broken to begin with! Caleb is an awesome guy. Very professional in his work. The pricing for the product is very competitve. He was on time to give us an estimate, to pre-wire for the new door, and to install. The gentleman who helped him install did an excellent job as well. The door we ordered is fantastic. A high R value so as to insulate the garage better than most other doors, it is made very well. I had a cable break on my garage door, called Busy Bee out and he fixed it in a timely and professional manner, and at a very reasonable price as well. A few weeks after that, a hing on the garage door started to crack. I called Busy Bee out again to replace. He came out within a day and replaced for free. Last week, a wheel fell off the garage door due to a broken bracket. We needed someone to come out fast as we use the garage door daily and not being able to was a big hassle. He explained our options told us the very reasonable prices and right away got to work. He even oiled stuff so our door was quieter. Great service. One of our garage door springs broke in the early morning, called Busy Bee Garage Door after reading positive reviews on our local community facebook page, and am happy I did. An appointment was made for same day, and the problem was fixed very quickly for a very reasonable price, the same price as agreed over the phone. I was very happy with the promptness in which Caleb came to my home. Caleb and his partner were very quick and efficient. I had just had my house painted, and this new garage door really "popped" the looks of my house. After the door was installed, they actually cleaned up my garage better than it was when they arrived. So im gonna shoot up some plywood and 2x4 for the time being. Would not recommend due to not being able to work weekends or for urgent matters.
