    Breakfast Burrito

Such a cute environment in here! We got the brekkie platter and breakfast burrito, both were delicious and fresh. The banana pancakes with the granola were so tasty. Great to see a full GF menu! I will be back.

The staff here is always so friendly. The food is delicious despite being healthy ingredients and some of it gluten-free. Whoever created these meals and dishes is a genius and apparently a lot of thought and testing probably went into these menu items. Came here for lunch with a friend once and she loved her burger. Great place to grab a breakfast that is delectable yet healthy as well as a lunch. That's delicious. When I went in the morning it was quiet and I had a table to myself, but when I came here once for lunch there were other folks who appear to be working on their laptops and all the tables were full.

Great spot here in JC Heights, they have fresh juices in the fridge as well as organic lunch and food. We need more places like this in the Heights love it.!!!

Lemon Kale Chickpea Salad with Parmesan Cheese, Carrot Cake, Peanut Butter Samoas
    Lily K.

Uber eats order so I don't know about bathrooms or parking. Very small portions. I got the kale chickpea salad and it was a tiny container. The dressing is highly acidic and I am someone who loves lemons and limes so much I would eat them on their own. The kale was more butter than normal because on their website it says they massage it with oil and lemon which is what helps cut the strong bitterness. It was fine it just was not what I was expecting. The gluten free carrot cake was in fact delicious. They are the reason for the stars. Very tasty a little on the dry side but not bad. I had the Samoa bar too. This is also very tiny. And the bottom crumbled out before it got me so it was mainly just the top chocolate piece. I also had the golden milk/turmeric latte. I loveee turmeric lattes. This one has lots of ginger and unfortunately was not hot when it got to me. Otherwise it was very good, close to how I make it at home. So it's nice that it's all gluten free, that is relaxing. But perhaps I just didn't order the right thing. The carrot cake and the turmeric latte were the best. The salad and the samoa bar had potential but weren't great. I'm sure they have other great things on their menu. But that's all I've tried.

$78 for 3 coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches one MINI muffin, a cookie and a shake.

I'm giving two stars because the family liked the two sandwiches. They were VERY SMALL for the price. I spent $78 plus a tip for the driver. As you can see. I was really looking forward to bragging about the new vegan spot I found. Family members have dietary restrictions and we are foodies. I saw the shakes on the menu and I was all in. I even paid the extra $2.50 for speedy delivery. The delivery was not speedy. It took over 40 min but if the portions were generous and the order correct I would have overlooked it. Not the restaurant's fault. What was the restaurant's fault was the incomplete order and the disinterest in correcting the order. When I realized the shake was missing, the shake was the reason I wanted to order from Busy Bee in the first place, when I realized it was missing I called Uber Eats. They told me to contact the store. The manager asked me "what do you want me to do?" I was shocked. She proceeded to tell me to contact Uber. Did uber forget to pack my shake, I asked? "No, sorry about that but there's nothing I can do." I contacted Uber again and well you know what they told me. They said I needed to contact Busy Bee. I'm easy. I give everyone a break. But this will be the last $78.00 Busy Bee will see from my coin purse. They knew they messed up the order but if I didntvcall back they weren't going to say anything. $78? So here it is: The food is overpriced. Subia is pricey but they are kind and caring and the portions are generous. Have you triedtheir breakfast sandwich? ... VF is generous like Subia with their portions and somehow the food arrived hot. If this gets resolved to my satisfaction I'll let you know. Until then, get your coffee from Griot Cafe in the Heights or the Grind on Communipaw. Nurish is also clean eating on Communipaw and not as pricey.

This is a very cute healthy food cafe. I just stopped in for a smoothie. It was pretty good but a little pricey. Their baked goods looked delicious.

The food here is sooooo good. The vegan desserts are amazing. The staff is so nice. We arrived not long before closing and they still let us sit down and enjoy our meal.

I've driven past this place quite a few times and it always looked like a cute spot to stop by for a snack. I recently decided to check it out after drooling over an Instagram post for their hot chocolate. So glad I stopped by because it's a cute quaint shop with some quality healthy foods. I got the hot chocolate which was just what I needed. It's hard to find a good quality hot chocolate and let me tell you this one took the cake. I had a vegan one and it was rich in chocolate but not too overbearing. It had a ginger cookie rim and a roasted marshmallow. Perfect for a cold day. I also grabbed some treats. I got a chocolate chip cookie and a banana buffin all made with almond flour and other healthy goodness. They have other foods made from organic ingredients as well which is perfect for a breakfast or lunch stop. Cant wait to return to try other foods!.

New to the area so I wanted to see where I'll be getting my weekend coffee and treats. I started towards a cafe that was closed for vacation, so I made my way to a different street and stumbled upon this adorable vegan cafe. I cannot wait to try every single menu item. I started with a mocha mushroom latte with house made cashew milk. I've been smiling ever since. I picked up a vegan carrot cake muffin and Samoa bar! Delicious delicious delicious

    Chickpea cookie dough truffle

So delicious!! I'd wanted to try their food forever and finally walked to the location in The Heights on Saturday. Ordered a carrot cake buffin (reminds me of Morning Glory muffins!!) and chickpea cookie dough truffle. I ate them outside then went right back inside to order more! I ordered 6 buffins, a Samoa cookie and a kale chickpea salad. All so tasty! And loved getting to know Jamie who was working that day and absolutely lovely :) Thinking of getting their delivery next!

    vegan mac'n' cheese
    Christina D.

Lovely place and great addition to the area! Great offering of clean and healthy eating options, including vegetarian, vegan, GF and just generally good salads. We came here for a quick bite and had their falafel and vegan mac n cheese, along with their vegan hot cocoa. The falafel were good, nothing spectacular. The vegan mac n cheese and hot cocoa were so so. Mac n cheese was flavorless, I have definitely had better at other vegan places. The hot cocoa was watery and again, lackluster in flavor. It's fantastic that they have so many dietary options but the flavor is lacking.

Mini vegan peanut butter chocolate cupcakes, chewy chocolate chip cookies.

Is this in a safe enough area to walk to?

Guess it depends on where you are walking from. It's right on Bird rd so that area is safe as long as you are aware of cars, it's a busy three lane street.

I tried the pistachio and rose flavor, and the sponge-like, moist texture was so good. It would have been perfect and super absorbent with a cup of tea. These are definitely specialty donuts that feel handmade and would be great for events like a birthday or a wedding, something with real significance. The service was excellent. The owner of the donut stand, when I saw her at Holi Seaport (downtown Manhattan), was very nice and humble. Even though she was working a packed station, she still took the time to serve me personally. She sold out all her donuts, which tells you just how amazing they are. The ambience depended on the event, since it was just a stand -- I didn't go to her actual shop in Weehawkens. Given that she does a lot of events between New York and New Jersey, the vibe will vary depending on which one you attend.

The variety of foods available is impressive and you really can find it all here, from an Italian grocer to Japanese to the various food stands offering everything from BBQ to the best halvah I've ever had. And there's a Pearl River Mart and other places to find gifts and souvenirs. My favorite of this ilk is Muji Market, which has all the Japanese amazing things! Also of note: very clean bathrooms. Wanted to highlight a few more stores here for this review: - Moon Man Foods: a Brooklyn-based company, they have a small stand about a third of the way thru the market (walking east to west), selling southeast Asian kaya jam, which is coconut-based and contain eggs, coconut milk, sugar, starch, and salt. They come in pandan, ube, and Java palm sugar (aka gula melaka) flavors. - Pearl River Mart and Pearl River Mart Foods: back in the day they used to be located in SoHo on Broadway, though rising rents made them relocate, and I'm glad they're still around! They carry all sorts of Asian-inspired decor, serving ware, stationery, and their "Foods" location downstairs is combination of Asian grocery, bubble tea (Milk & Tea), and Korean and Chinese snack/takeout stands (Kimbap Lab and Mao's Bao's). - Muji Market: this is a smaller location that carries a narrower assortment than your average Muji (house wares, basic apparel, accessories, kitchenware, snacks), though they have a full cafe serving coffee and matcha, simple Japanese lunch items like bowls, sandwiches and bento. Cafe prices seem a little higher probably due to the location. - gallery art: there is a small whitewashed hallway gallery of maybe a couple dozen small pieces by local artists, featuring NYC-centric photos, sketches, paintings, multi-media. Found this fun and entertaining!
