Unfortunately, you cant give -stars . Worst movers ever!! They came a week before we started to move and they knew exactly what they had to do. They charged us an additional $1500 ,more than they said they would. They broke numerous things ,antiques , things that were my grandmothers, my great grandmothers, my mothers, my aunts, etc. They don't know how to move ,they don't know how to pack things . Who packs plants in a box tapes it up and doesn't write on it what it is? They do !!! A few of the employees were rude, and would whisper . They are very unprofessional. Save your money Please. Find someone else . You do not even want to hire these people. There's a reason they are so cheap. I found out to late. Unfortunately we have tried numerous times to call and they won't answer the phone and they won't call us back .Red flags all around. And a few of our things never even made it here. read more

Overall, not a great experience, but we got moved. Our movers showed up FOUR hours late. We got the warning call after two hours had gone bye. We almost gave up and rented a UHaul. Took them two more hours to show up. When they did, it was a promised group of three...but the main moving guy who appears to own the business can barely walk up stairs himself. He moved maybe two or three boxes. The other two movers were very hardworking and got the job done. Everything was moved carefully. It took 2.5 hours but we were charged for just two-- probably because they were so late. One positive note: we had to schedule last-minute movers and they were one of the FEW that had availability on the day we needed. Overall, I'd go with someone else. read more

I honestly have to think most of these reviews are fake. It's hard to believe my experience was so dramatically different than everyone else. First they were late. Over two hours. Before they would begin they made me sign a paper stating I wouldn't consider them late as long as they were within three hours of the time I was told. I had no idea this was the case when I made my reservation. Then there was the work crew. I was quoted 3 but only 1.5 showed up. I say 1.5 because one of the two was the foreman and he didn't move anything heavier than a standard small sized box from the UHaul store. The one guy that actually did work was very good, but not worth the price of 3. The employees actually told me it's standard operating procedure for the owner to quote 3 and send 2, for whatever that's worth. Then there's the price. I was quoted $100 an hour and told that included a veteran/teacher discount. That was for 3 people. They wanted to charge me that price even though there were only 2. I argued and they knocked the price down to $80 an hour. During this argument they let it slip that $100 was their standard price, no discount. I have to believe that means their veteran and teacher discounts are a lie. Frankly they should be ashamed of themselves. As for how long it took, here's a fun fact: I had a bunch of old furniture I didn't intend to bring with me. The employees asked if they could have it. I said sure because it kept me from having to bring it to the dumpster. They then charged ME for the time they spent disassembling and moving the furniture I didn't want. And for the overall price, let's just say it was significantly more than $80 an hour. They told me there were "fees". What are these fees? I have no idea because they wouldn't give me itemized receipt. Needless to say, this was the worst moving experience I've ever had. read more

Great movers. I got stuck in a jam and called Rick up the day I needed to move. He rounded up a team and was at my apartment that afternoon. His crew was professional and hard working and took extraordinary care of all my stuff, even the furniture that had clearly seen better days. Excellent service and very fair prices. Some of the nicest moving assistance people I have ever had the pleasure to speak with, however they were far from the best at loading our household goods. I wish I were able to say that I had the same experience as others however at our destination we discovered that some of our belongings were treated or packed in a less than ideal fashion... The gentlemen who came to our home to assist in our move were very courteous, and extremely professional. They all worked hard throughout the entire truck loading process, not even pausing to take a short breather. The entire time that they were "on the clock," they acted as such. I give them a five star rating on their behavior and professionalism, but only a two for truck packing/loading. When our truck arrived halfway across the country, several of our items were packed in a less than optimal fashion, allowing furniture to shift and become damaged during the process. Unfortunately, we discovered that we had some of our belongings extensively padded and wrapped with moving wrap which did not require the amount of padding used (a set of garage shelves for example) while our solid Brazilian cherry bedroom set received little to no padding, causing all but one of the pieces to arrive with deep scratches and gouges. Also, they stashed some of the furniture hardware in a location that I've still been unable to find. Fortunately for me I'm a relatively handy guy so I went to the hardware store and bought/fabricated replacements. I wish I could break down this review into several segments, since as moving assisters they were great to interact with, and helped my wife and children get ready to join me over 1k miles away. That said, due to the state of some of our belongings upon arrival in Florida makes one wonder how it went on the truck in the first place... read more

We did a lot of searching for movers and were really worried about snake fees and the quality of work (guys intentionally taking longer than necessary). We also had some complexities involved (such as additional stops and appliance installation). It come down to two companies Busy Bee Movers and AB Movers. After speaking with Rick (at Busy Bee) and some reps at AB, I choose to go with Rick. He offered a competitive price and promised no snake fees. Rick and his team were fast, efficient and careful with all of our items. We didn't have to help with any of the items or really monitor for damages (I did do some spot checking and found no issues). They really went above and beyond on my move. Here are the reasons I gave Busy Bee 5 stars. 1) No Snake fees. We were quoted a price and actually paid less then what was quoted. 2) Above the state requirement on insurance coverage. The state requires $0.60 and Rick indicated he would go above and beyond if there were any damages. 3) No additional stop fees. We needed to pick up a couch and fridge, which other movers were going to charge $100 additional stop fees 4) Honesty and Integrity. Rick charged us less then what was quoted when I let him know his competitor was actually cheaper. He also stopped the clock earlier. They worked for approximately 4 hours and we were charged for 3 1/2 hours. I had an issue with Best Buy when they dropped off my gas dryer. The electricity wasn't on and my gas line was capped so they made a bunch of excuses and left it uninstalled. I had never installed a gas dryer and Rick actually offered to install the dryer for me at no additional charge. All of this occurred after they had stopped the clock on the move. I'm not a great handy man, but I asked Rick if he would just guide me as I install it so that I may learn. Best Buy gave an incorrect sized connector so with the help of Rick we determined the proper size and bought the connector form Home Depot. I installed the dryer in approximately 30 minutes (including the trips to Home Depot) all at no charge. Rick also helped with my garage door opener (which wasn't latching). He also gave me some great advise on managing fix up items in my home. Talk about going above and beyond!! Rick was an absolute joy to talk to. He had some great stories and just life lessons during the move. I highly recommend Busy Bee Movers. The best price, the best service, honesty and integrity. read more

Highly disappointed with Busy Bee movers. I was told there would be 3 movers, and only 2 showed up. They took 5 hours just to move my one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom just 5 minutes down the road, which caused the fee to be way more than expected. On top of this, my mattress now has 3 rips/tears on it due to the movers not taking care while moving. We were told by the owner we would be compensated for the torn mattress, but have yet to hear back. I was really looking forward to using this company, but after my experience, never will again. read more

These guys are great. I have done 2 main moves with them. Brian is really nice. On my 2nd move, they moved our (1040 sqf) 1 bdr apt from Plano to Houston. They are really dependable and on-time. Thumbs up for these guys. No hidden fees, Really fast and at the same time careful about your boxes. Rick, Junior, and Donald were all fantastic!!! We need them to go to Corsicana to load our storage locker into their truck and unload it at our new home in the DFW area. Their price quote was extremely competitive and their work quality was great. They took extra time loading the truck to ensure all of our belonging, including a heavy china cabinet, arrived at our new home safely. Rick, Junior, and Donald clearly have a lot of experience properly loading the truck. All of our stuff fit perfectly into the truck. The extra time wasn't wasted at all. They never took a break while loading or unloading the truck. Very efficient with their time management but never seems rushed to get things done quickly. They were extremely polite and even offered to help unload our van even after loading and unloading the truck. I would definitely hire Busy Bee again, they are great!!! read more

Needed a last minute pickup and delivery of a jukebox purchased on ebay. If you've never lifted a jukebox, let me tell you they are about 400 (bulky) lbs. These guys went above and beyond and even moved this heavy machine up to my second floor den. If i ever move houses, I'll gladly call up Busy Bee again. read more

Very professional. I had a crunch circumstances where I had to sign closing docs and move on the same day. They were on stand by and started immediately once I called them after closing. Rick and the team truly care about their customer, the experience and going to all lengths that your goods are shipped safely. Had zero issues with the move and would suggest these guys all day. They don't have the big marketing of the large competitors and they get it done. I actually cancelled my other appointment with a big name mover and happy I did to work one on one with the owner and his crew. His crew works hard and they care.
