Half eaten chicken boxty. Super delicious!! Chicken, mushrooms, onions, and peppers in a potato pancake with a pesto based sauce. Yum!

Pretty baller. Lots of parking, patio overlooking lake and city views. Patio half covered. Lots of Irish beer and Irish food. Good, nice service and a great time! Had a chicken boxty - highly recommend. Also got a Guinness and dortmunder mixed - yum!

The staff are awesome . Simply great people and very patient waiting on our large groups . The food is good. I thought the roast beef sandwich meat was pretty dry - maybe the Rueben would have been better. Brunch menu is good but I wish they had an omelette option . The breakfast sandwich was good but I would have preferred it with toast instead of bun.

The service was excellent! The food was excellent; opted for a salmon wrap and a corned beef boxty. Then, on the recommendation of the waitress, we had desert. We don't normally get desert however she said it was her favorite. It was the bread pudding with bourbon sauce. Excellent! The atmosphere on the patio was excellent. It was a holiday weekend and they ran out of 3 of the beers that I had selected. I was able to get my fourth pick. I also wanted the sauce on the side for the boxty. These were the only problems encountered.

    Pierogies

We ordered the pierogies and salmon boxty. Both were excellent although a bit too saucy for my taste. I'll ask for the sauce on the side next time for sure! The atmosphere is so fun, staff was extremely accommodating, and the lake view is nice.

My friend always drives past this restaurant so it's been on her list for a while. It's pretty nondescript from the outside. But the inside is very much an Irish bar. Pretty family friendly and I'm sure they have a lot of regulars. The staff is very friendly too. For drinks, I got the hot toddy while my friend got an espresso martini. Strong on the alcohol! I liked my hot toddy but my friend couldn't finish her martini. For our entrees, I got the corned beef hash while my friend got a French toast sandwich. Delicious! But also very heavy! I was full for hours! I would come back though. We both saw other items on the menu that looked good. They have two parking lots on both sides of the building which is good.

Love the patio, is dog friendly, and the live music! They have solid salad options, would recommend the smoked Gouda and chicken salad every time. Fun Irish pub with lots of parking!

I want them to be crispy on the outside with a mouthful of chicken in each bite and they were just that. The lemon pepper sauce was very salty, but I love salt and vinegar chips so I was prepared. You won't even be able to stand. As for my other visit, it was on a Friday night. A nice sized crowd, full bar. Sports game on the television. A nice atmosphere for a neighborhood bar. A great touch is the 1 pinball machine in the corner. Older game but it does take up something to do with friends. As with service we were told that the bar is extremely behind by a rude bartender named Meg. You can tell she was overwhelmed and just seemed to be having a rough day. A few minutes later we were told by staff that the kitchen was now closed. Pretty strange as the menu is mainly all bar served fried food or burgers etc. The bartender also announced that they were out of fish as well. I continued to order drinks, they were cold and tasted as advertised. About an hour or so later , the kitchen was then re opened when the bar was less crowded. I order a dozen wings, garlic Parmesan with ranch. The wings were real solid. Nice and crispy and the garlic and parm combo was just enough. The basket of fries we got were average fries. Not crispy, nor salty but atleast they were hot. The prices were about average, no complaints about that. Overall, the bar does not seem to handle stress or large crowds very well. My wings were good, fries were average like I said. My friends attend this bar often and did tell me that this bar is not like this usually. May have been a rough day. I assume I will be back again, I wouldn't pick this place to go to but the location is close enough to the area we hang out. Not so much of any certain type of theme at the bar but I did notice the staff recognize many patrons by name so it will continue to be the neighborhood bar for many. Overall a 6.7 out of 10.

The Rowley Inn is located in a nice neighborhood (Tremont) across the street from the Christmas Story house. I had three meals there. The first, loaded pierogis, was the ultimate comfort dish. Pierogis with potato centers were covered in diced kielbasa, bacon (yes, bacon), and covered in cheddar cheese. Ahhhhh. The others at my table raved about the kielbasa and pierogi dish. They also liked the beer selection. How do you know you have a great find? You think about the meal long after it is consumed. Next meal- breakfast. I had the kielbasa and pierogi omelet. Need I say more? Finally, we came back a third time and I ordered the burger. No burger place (save Chuckbox in Tempe, AZ) can match the Rowley burger. The burger is actually seasoned and cooked to order. I had it medium rare. Sheer perfection. Typing this review makes me sad because I live far away from Cleveland. Didn't even take a photo bc i didn't want to offend you folks who like food porn! The Loco Moski is about as disgusting as I never thought possible, seriously. The fried pickles were decent but nothing to order again... best part of my meal. . I sent the wings back and the exact nasty wings came out, just hot. Needless to say, i left them sitting there. Server never asked if they were better, even when she asked if i wanted a box and i said God no. No manager or Joe O came over to apologize so obviously people actually like them, I was odd person out. My drink was poorly made so I left that too. No one cared, so never again. Funny how the menu and signage states if it is made as said, no refunds or bill removal. They probably were losing money on bad sh!t.
