This is not a restaurant. It is a factory that makes frozen pizzas and distributes them to area supermarkets.

Gotta Love Butch's Pizza - one of a kind. Too bad we moved to Georgia. We have to depend on trips back to Illinois to get these again!

Review Visit: April 18th, 2016…read more This place definitely garners the attention it deserves. On one of my many trips (with a friend that didn't like being in photos), we stopped for pizza at the recommendation of many people we knew. We walked in on a sunny afternoon with empty bellies and high expectations. We were greeted by a friendly staff and a post-lunch winding down of the restaurant. There were a handful of employees who stopped in for a bite to eat but they all were wrapping up to go back to work. We were seated at a table and given menus and some waters. My friend and I have similar taste buds, so we quickly settled on the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. If memory serves me right, I got my half of the pizza with jalapenos. I do love me a bit of a kick to my food. With the lunch rush past us, we got great service as we were really the only ones in there after about 10 minutes. Our waitress was prompt with everything and just great. It wasn't long before our pizza was brought out to us and boy did it look good. It's not stranger on this blog that I love pizza and Garner's was great. Each bite was full of flavor and each slice being exactly what our bellies needed before we started exploring Bloomington. About the only complaint I would have is that Garner's is in a weird location. It seems to be a newly-built area and I am not entirely too familiar with Morton but it seems to be in a weird location. When my GPS was taking us here, I had doubts the address was correct... but I am glad that I was proven wrong. Garner's was worth the hesitation while driving there.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and shortly after we were seated in the dining room area. The dining room was very spacious and had comfortable booths and open tables. The front room appeared large but apparently there is an even larger room towards the back where they accommodate larger parties. We know this because we saw them as they were leaving and it surprised us. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She took our drink orders and gave us some extra time to look over the menu. We decided to order a 16" Mighty Meat and a 14" cheese and sausage. We also got a family pack of bread sticks which included 10pcs and two sauces, we got nacho cheese. As we waited on the food we enjoyed looking at the decor in the dining room and having nostalgia over the items. The bread sticks came out first. The sauce was okay and the bread sticks were not great. Dough, dry and bland. We wouldn't order them on the next visit. Our pizzas came out and they were perfect. Thin crust. Crispy crust. The right amount of sauce to cheese and very generous portions of meat. Everyone enjoyed the pizza very much.

The restaurant was packed, but the cooks kept up with the demand with no delays. I love the fried chicken & my husband loves their pizza so it's a great place to go to satisfy both of our cravings! If you order buffet, you can order any special pizza combination you want & they will bring it to your table. The chicken bacon ranch is my favorite, but there are plenty of other combos to try as well. The food on the buffet was hot and fresh. There were also several dessert pizzas to choose from, but my favorite was the cactus pizza. Overall it's a great family atmosphere, delicious food and great value for the money! It's a "must stop" for my family any time we are back in the area!!

The pizza that was on the buffet around 4:45 pm on a Tuesday night was not good and lacked variety. We requested a thin crust ham and pineapple pizza with light cheese. The pizza took 30 mins to appear on the buffet. No one told us when the pizza was on the buffet. The ham and pineapple pizza did not have very many toppings and was just ok. The salad bar had iceberg shredded lettuce and wilted spinach. The cheddar cheese and French dressing were good. However, the lettuce quality is disappointing. The fried chicken was not cooked properly. The chicken was chewy. The chicken was overcooked. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back to the pizza ranch anytime soon.

I will say their drinks are too expensive to sit around and really drink like you want to. I guess they get enough volume but don't realize they'd sell a lot more if they'd charge like a bowling alley, and not like a brewery. I keep on going back if that tells you. I will say consistent play is very difficult as opposed to other alleys because of really oily lane conditions. I've also had damage to my ball from lane 8 which happens I guess but probably shouldn't. The only super frustrating thing about this Alley is the placement of the score computer which is mounted directly in front of the ball return. You are always reaching over or around which is unlike any other alley I've been too. Gets really annoying because they have a platform that blocks your feet from being able to get right up to it.
