His office lady didn't say one word as she cowered with her tail between her legs. I asked for my money back and he said he wouldn't give it to me. He stormed off into his office, slamming the door as I proceeded to record a video of the insanely unprofessional behavior. I called local police to see if they could help--he told them my deposit was unrefundable. May 1st went to see a car--car would not start initially with all types of warnings on. Owner had mechanic take car away "to get gas" before we were able to take it for a test ride. Afterwards we left a deposit. I left feeling unsettled. For the next two weeks --I had to call and repeatedly check on the repairs they needed to do. I asked for card carfax and after I reviewed the carfax it showed this car sat FOR MANY YEARS before being purchased. I decided I no longer was interested. Communicated yesterday to say not interested--today May 14 I went to pickup my deposit. This is when this event occurred that this business owner reacted so hostile towards me. When the day I left the deposit he said when we asked about the deposit being refunded "as long as we don't not hear from you for a month, I'll give you your money back no problem". This place is a junkyard that repairs double totalled cars and then will steal your money. The man who owns this will not shake your hand, he will talk over you and disrespect you. He speaks as if he just snorted drugs. STAY CLEAR OF THIS DUMP, don't get scammed like I did. I'm following this up with a report to the BBB

Eric knows how to buy, sell and/or fix cars, caring deeply about dealing in only top-quality vehicles. The key to Eric is his decades of experience fixing cars. When you buy from Eric, you know that his total service auto repair shop has personally inspected the entire vehicle and will only sell cars that are upgraded to his highest quality standards. You are never buying a shoddy car from Eric. Eric answers his phone or returns calls promptly. I've been thanking my lucky stars every day since buying my rare find 2002 Subaru Legacy wagon manual 5-speed from Eric, which he worked with me on and I now can say was a huge hookup. Finding a good used car at a good price is NOT an easy task. Before I found my Subaru through Eric, I wasted tons of time trying to find one. As one example, on more than three occasions I drove over 2 hours to see various cars in person, only to encounter scummy, sleazeball salesmen trying to bait-and-switch me or otherwise not deliver, wasting my tme. It's no wonder people assign horrible negative stereotypes to the "used car salesman". By the time I got to Eric, I was sick of and had little patience for any bullsh*t. Eric understood, and as I ultimately learned he is friendly and not the same as every other salesman. I again drove more than two hours to inspect the car, hoping to buy if it checked out. Despite being over 13 years old, my Suba was in tip-top shape, meticulously prepared, and was even nicer in person than expected. We closed the deal. I was still fully prepared to discover inevitable unknown negatives about the used car. However, every time I thought I discovered a problem over the last three months, I was quickly proven paranoid. In fact, the car has ran totally smoothly and better than expected in every possible respect, in every possible way. I am so happy with my purchase and for Eric selling me an awesome car, despite my concern as a used car buyer. Note: Eric even certifies the cars, where his shop fixes any problems after the sale for a period of time. Fortunately, I haven't had a single problem with my car, but it's nice peace of mind knowing that Eric delivers the best mechanical quality since his reputation is on the line. I am even more impressed with the mechanical quality in my case, as the car is manual. While a manual clutch can come in a range of conditions, my clutch performed exactly as Eric described -- in excellent condiditon. Eric does not deal in problematic vehicles and is focused on delivering amazing deals, especially on Subarus but also anything else. Eric charges fair prices and does not inflate list prices like other shodsters on the web. Eric does what he says. Eric is efficient given his known-how and years of experience.
