(3.5 stars) Butler Tires in Chamblee, Georgia provided great tire replacement and alignment services. I would rate them five stars on that service. The issue was the warning light indicating low pressure that did not turn off after the replacement of all four tires. The car was brought back so they could reset it and fifteen minutes into after leaving Butler Tires the light came back on so i returned again to have them check it out. This time they did an actual sensor gauge and realized one of the sensors was out; they replaced the sensor but could not reset it at the Chamblee location so they referred me to the Buckhead location to have it reset. There was no discussion about a discount on the service in light of the culmination of time and distance driven to bring the car in to have the issue fixed. All of the staff were super nice, I just think management should give the staff the autonomy to negotiate prices when there is a burden on the driver to make multiple visits to Butler to have a simple issue fixed. read more

I had a great experience here. Originally I tried calling Land Rover of Buckhead but after 4 times of no answer, I just called Butler, they answered, they didn't have the tire I needed but had one delivered with in hours and called me when it arrived near closing time. I went in, didn't wait long but even if I had to, the tv, mags, phone charge station, and comfy chairs were great to keep me entertained. SERVICE: They were great! I came in early in the morning without an appointment and it took about an hour to get me worked in their schedule and complete the alignment. The process was very smooth and they were nice. They work on a lot of nice cars and you'll see them parked along the side of the building. ATMOSPHERE: They have a nice seating area with the chairs made out of Recaro style racing seats and tire tread arm rests. A good selection of car enthusiast magazines and hot coffee in the morning too. It's not noisy so I was able to work remotely while they worked on the car. PARKING/LOCATION: They have adequate parking for customers and their cars. The location is good as it's only 7 miles from my office, which is convenient. Unfortunately, a bad experience. I scheduled an appointment. Tires were selected the night before. Alignment. Balance. All ready to go. Arrived a few minutes before opening at 8am the next morning. Associate who I spoke to the night before had everything ready to go. I was told to come back in an hour or so...I came back more than an hour later. Tires that we selected the night before were now not available. I was told that the associate would personally pick up the tires from another location and text me on the way back to continue the service. Never heard from associate. I went back to the Roswell location to find no tires nor the associate. Another associate took over and offered more of a description of the tires best for my car. The original tires were not the correct tires for my car. Show up the next morning...not even recognized from the day before. I had to explain my situation to get the transaction moving. Finally, my tires were replaced with the new selection. Previous associate offered no explanation for issues the day before and then quoted the old price of the previous tires. I was given a discount on the new tires. I had the impression Butler Tires was the best shop in Buckhead. I can not recommend this shop. Sincerely disappointed. read more

I had a poor experience on May 18, 2023. I was overcharged by almost 50% compared to other metro Butler stores and the staff didn't seem to care when I raised the issue. the car also took twice as long to complete as estimated and no one noticed until I pointed it out. Had a nail in my tire. They fixed it quickly and kept me updated. I didn't get new rims but they have a great selection too.

Do not patronize this place! I called ahead to get the rims on my truck repaired. When I arrived Ernest waited on me but appeared a bit uncertain about what he was doing. I proceeded to give him the information needed to get my rims repaired anyway. I was told it would take 1-2 days for the total repair. The next day Ernest called to tell me the warranty would cover $150 per rim and the balance would be a little over $300. I agreed to the cost of the repair. By the 2nd day, Ernest called leaving me a vm stating my rims were repaired but were not right and they had to send them back. By the 4th day, Ernest called me to let me know my truck was ready but they had not received payment from the warranty company. I called the company who told me they have been sending email but no one responded so I connected Ernest to the call. Both the company and Ernest told me they were taking care it. Now we're on day 5. I called Ernest back to make arrangements to pick up my car and he said that's fine. After a 40 minute drive I get there and my truck was locked up in the garage. Now I'm pissed and call Ernest who asked me what did I want him to do.Huhhhhh Sir! I hung up and planned to get my truck the next am. When I arrived Ernest was no where to be found. Another rep tells me that my balance is over $100 than originally quoted. Finally, Ernest comes out and I summarize our conversation. He yells, I didn't say that you're lying. We have recorded phone calls. Well, he called me from his cell, how is that recorded and why would I make up those numbers. Make it make sense! The manager on duty had to tell Ernest to walk away and proceeded to help me. He explained he didn't know what happened but would provide a discount. At this point I just wanted to get my truck and leave. The service was horrible and to be called a liar is totally not good customer service. I don't mind paying when I have good communication and service. This experience could have gone another way! read more

I have been driving by this tire and wheel store for the past few years but never had a need to actually visit until a couple of days ago. Had a flat tire but needed four tires anyway so I called Butler for pricing and availability. 1. First impression: they had the exact tires I needed for my car, in stock and ready. This may not sound like much but they were literally the ONLY place I called that didn't have to order them for installation 2-4 days later. I drive a European sports car with uncommon tire sizes that even the dealer didn't have that day, so that was a nice surprise. 2. Second impression: price was in line with the other dealers I had spoken with, the highest of all of them but only by a couple of dollars, not enough to say they were not competitive. The fact that they had the product in stock justified the higher price. 3. Third impression: scheduling and phone. No appointment needed, drive in, get service, wait, leave. So the sales guy said on the phone. He was extremely polite, knew the car I drove just from the sizes I gave him, and had a quote in about a minute. I was told I'd need to be there for about 2 hours including an alignment--reasonable so far. 4. Fourth impression: arrival. Parking lot was quite full which had me worried but I was able to park right in front of the front door and walk in. No wait at the counter and found my sales guy right away. Quote was already in the system and the car was pulled in within 3 minutes. Tech used a seat cover and floor mat and a plastic cover on the steering wheel. Keep in mind I specifically told my sales guy that I am EXTREMELY picky and would be extremely displeased with dirt or grime on the car. Apparently standard procedure is to use the seat covers and all so kudos for that. 5. Fifth impression: showroom. Clean, in fact, very clean, well-lit, and didn't smell like a tire store. Waiting room was a little cramped but mostly because I'm a pretty big guy. They had satellite TV and hot coffee and it was literally ice cold in the showroom while 90ish outside. Music was classic rock (they use a mac for musing streaming which I loved!) and pleasant. Biggest surprise: the restroom. Holy smokes, it looked like a restroom at a luxury hotel. Stone on the walls, nice lighting, spotless, and totally unexpected. I'd be over the moon if that was a bathroom in my own home. 6. Final impression: car was done in almost exactly two hours. It was delivered back to me cleaner than when I had arrived as they clean the wheels (which I'm guessing took at least 15 minutes--they were filthy from a busy week), the interior was free from any dirt or grease, and the car drives perfectly. There are no scratches on the wheels, the tires had tire shine applied, and the alignment feels dead-on. They gave me a printout showing my "before" and "after" specs for the alignment which was in a really easy-to-read format. Executive summary: give these guys a shot. Different experience than I have ever had at a tire store, fairly priced, and seemingly well-run. read more

This place is horrible. If you value your car, DO NOT bring it to this place. Two weeks ago my boyfriend brought his car to this place to change his rear tires. Afterwards he went to another place to get his brakes done (since Butler doesn't repair brakes). This was one week later. The workers at the other place noticed the lugs that were supposed to be holding the tire on were TOTALLY STRIPPED. Not only that, my boyfriend drives a BMW but one of the lugs were for Mercedes. They even took lug off to show him. He drives to and from Alpharetta for work and we live in Buckhead. His tire could've flown off!!! He called Butler to let them know of his findings and they proceeded to make endless excuses and tell him "we're not perfect." He then took his car and the worn, incorrect parts back there upon their request. You would think the company would reimburse all of his money back as well as perform the correct service for free (since he could've DIED due to Butler's NEGLIGENCE) but that is not what happened. Instead they offered him a partial refund of the cost of the repairs. Repairs that wouldNT BE needed had BUTLER not put the wrong Lugnuts on which in turn damaged the hub. This place obviously does not hire knowledgeable technicians. PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your time and money on this place. They are a complete disaster. read more

I purchased my tires from Butler Tires in Austell, GA., so when the back tire on my Mercedes went flat I had air put in the tire so that I could take it to Butler Tires to have it repaired. When I arrived I was told that they couldn't help me because Butler closes in 20 minutes. They were very non-caring. They didn't care about my tire deflating while I was driving and/or getting into an accident or damage to the tire because of low air pressure. They just wanted to go home. I own a 2005 Mercedes Benz C320 and attempted to save a little money by bringing it to Firestone. After an excruciating wait even though I had an appointment, they told me that my alignment was so out that they weren't going to touch it. I proceeded to contact Mercedes Benz dealership to find out that they won't touch any Benz under a 2010. I felt all hope was lost. I finally contacted Butler Tires and brought my vehicle to them and I am glad I did. There wasn't a wait at all at 4pm on a Friday and they immediately assured me that it was possible to fix and they would get started on it right away. Within an hour, their specialist had my car top notch again and went above and beyond by even replacing a bushings where needed without charge. I would recommend and advise anyone that needs anything done to their wheels to bring them to Butler Tires without a doubt. You get what you pay for and it's well worth it! read more
