I've driven by this place a hundred times and there's almost always a line of 20-30 people outside…read more This morning I decided to wait in that line. Super funny that the couple behind me commented that they go here all the time and there's never a line. After about a 40 minute wait, I got to the cashier at around 10:20am. Half the pastries like the ube brioche were already out so I opted for just the lattes. I played it safe and got the Tahitian vanilla latte. I will say that it's good quality coffee. Didn't need to add sugar. It didn't come super hot though so as I took it away, I downed it pretty fast! I got my mom and aunt the ice latte version of the black sesame and the brown sugar. Sounds like both were good as well. The black sesame wasn't sweet, which was to my aunt's liking. Inside, it's very clean and not crowded. What helped is that there is a sign that tells the people in line that only 6 people at a time should line up inside. If I have the time, I'd line back up. 4.5/5 stars, but I'll round up.

There was a sign that said only 6 ppl could wait inside to order, but I already counted 8 so figured they weren't enforcing it yet. Unfortunately, right when it was my turn to order, they ran out of beans and had to dial in a new batch. That alone added at least 30-40 minutes between waiting to order, and waiting for the coffee to come out. We got the caramel miso latte and the black sesame latte with an ube brioche. Can't say I loved either latte, nor the brioche. Everything was just decent. I was more impressed with how many ppl came here! I did enjoy seeing the baristas at work though. I'd say if you got here at even 850am, be prepared for a long wait. Can be even longer depending on whether they need to dial in new beans. Definitely not a good place to get a quick coffee before work.

When we walked in, the interior was very cute with the pink walls. There's a kiosk where we can order. I wish there were more ice cream flavors. There were just vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and the seasonal flavor which was like toffee and espresso. The seasonal flavor was really good and creamy, and it made me feel a bit more awake during my afternoon slump. I got the white macadamia nut cookie which came out warm, soft, and chewy. We didn't really interact with the worker, but the sweet treat was amazing. I would definitely come back during the work week for another cookie and ice cream sweet treat!

The owner Sara looks at us with this nasty entitled look and shrugs. Ok you just lost sales from four curious customers who were trying to get dessert and cookies after our dinner. I dont even yelp but this incident was so off putting... After looking at all the reviews its clear to see it isnt the other employees fault its the owner Saras' fault for her empty store and failing business with her nasty entitled customer service for over 5+ years she still hasnt changed.. GET A CLUE LADY, customer service is just as important as the product. Do u think people want to feel uncomfortable going into a business wondering if the service is gonna be good or crappy today. Thats probably why she, the owner, is so crabby all the time shes run her business into the ground with her attitude and most of foster city knows of her bitter demeanor by now! As someone who lives in FC in this small city ive never heard a good word about this place and we all tend to talk about food establishments, the good ones, and which ones to try in our small city. Amazing this place is even still in business now that i see all the negative reviews, her edited responses and damage control from the owner. Too late damage been done apparently.. Didnt even make it through the door and this is my impression like all the others who actually did enter that domain lol.. avoid

They don't have a huge selection of donuts but you can get your classics here as well as some more unique options, such as mochi donuts, or donuts with unique flavors, like blood orange and raspberry. We decided to get a lemon mochi donut, a blood orange mochi donut, a classic chocolate, and a chocolate "cruellar" donut. All the donuts tasted freshly made, had a soft dense interior, and were very delicious. The chocolate ones in particular paired very well with a cup of coffee the next morning. They also have unique ice cream flavors here. We look forward to trying those on our next visit.

The strawberry shortcake donut was delicious. The strawberries were a little too tart but the glazed donut was delicious. Mochi donuts were ok but I probably wouldn't get again. Tried a chocolate donut log with egg custard. Do not recommend the custard filling. It isn't done lengthwise and wasn't tasty. Donut itself was soft and fluffy. Overall, I'll come back for a sweet treat. I think service at this one was better than the other cause just less customers.

The service was friendly and quick. They were very patient while we explored all the various items they had on display. I got a bacon and egg empanada which they warmed up for me. It was nice, might've been even better with some kind of sauce too. My friends got the mushroom empanadas which looked really delicious. I wanted to order one to bring home only to find out they sold out! The cafe con lèche was quite strong but they do warn you about it before you order. Nice place to catch up with some friends. The interior is simple with plenty of tables. One of Their speciality is empanadas and you cannot go wrong with it. It is very yummy. There are couple filling options. The other pastries like Traditional Argentine pastries such as Guava Dulce de Leche which we order are also yummy. The Alfajones is also good. If I am not mistaken either you have to order pastries two at a time or it is cheaper if you order two. The drip coffee is good and light. Beside argentina pastries they also have more common pastries you find at most of places like croissant. Service was good and quick. Parking is available on the street or it has parking lot at the complex. Will come back next time to try other pastries.

Both burritos were satisfying and definitely worth trying. The restaurant has an open layout with plenty of parking, making it easy to stop by. It's located next to a car mechanic shop, and I liked that they had old-school Pokémon playing on the TV--it added a fun nostalgic vibe while I was eating. Customer service was acceptable, but nothing really stood out. It's more of a self-service experience, so if you want water or anything else, you'll need to get up and grab it yourself. It would've been nice if someone checked in once or twice. One thing that did confuse me happened on a different visit. I arrived around 1:50 p.m. hoping to order food to go, but the gentleman locked the door and told me they were no longer taking orders. If you close at 2 i dont see how you were closed already. It was a little odd since there were still plenty of customers inside eating. I understand kitchens have closing times, but it would've been helpful if the hours or last call for food were clearer. Overall, it's a solid spot for a good breakfast burrito with a laid-back atmosphere. Despite that one experience, I'd still come back and recommend giving it a try.
