When we walked in, the interior was very cute with the pink walls. There's a kiosk where we can order. I wish there were more ice cream flavors. There were just vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and the seasonal flavor which was like toffee and espresso. The seasonal flavor was really good and creamy, and it made me feel a bit more awake during my afternoon slump. I got the white macadamia nut cookie which came out warm, soft, and chewy. I had been wanting to try these cookies and realized I would be passing by on my way home so I decided to stop. When I arrived the workers were nice and friendly so no problems there! They had the music blasting (I didn't mind since I liked the music) and the doors open so the atmosphere was nice. The cookies were a little on the pricer side but I was willing to pay, I thought they had a half dozen deal but they didn't have that anymore I was told, although it shows online still, so each speciality cookie was around $5.50. Total was $26. When I got my 5 cookies I was expecting more of a thicker cookie from the photos online but they were fairly thin and smaller than I thought. I think the pricing is typically $1/ oz and these were definitely not even 5 ounces. My husband and I tried them when I got and we liked the cookies and cream one the best! There is plenty of parking in the plaza. The place is small but has some seating. The workers can be alot more friendlier and welcoming instead of just staring at us when we walked in. I was shocked and disgusted that anyone--especially a business owner--would speak to an employee in such a degrading and disrespectful way. There is no excuse for treating another human being like that. Watching it happen made me incredibly angry, and it completely changed my opinion of this business. I will never support Sarah's Cookies again after what I witnessed. If a business owner is willing to speak to employees that way in front of customers, I can't in good conscience recommend supporting that business. Came in for a sweet tooth fix, and specifically the s'mores cookies. They were delicious!!!! They happen to just come out too, so they were still warm and the chocolate was melty but not overly melted which was perfect!! I also got a cookies & cream and a circus cookie one. The cookies & cream was good, but my favorite was definitely the s'mores one. I really like the slab of graham cracker cookie on the bottom, wish there was a bigger dollop of marshmallow but still a great treat. There's a rewards program, so that's good. Always nice when a business offers something for being a frequently paying / visiting customer. It's a little place but a couple indoor seats. First of all, love the service. As I'm placing my order at the kiosk, someone from the back tells me, we only have one cookies and cream left. So I had to order it, right? I normally wouldn't (cookies and cream isn't usually my first choice) but I'm sure glad I did. The ambiance is a no-nonsense, order your food, and get going kinda spot - totally works for me. But these cookiez are it. Crispy. Buttery. Chewy. Flavors are superb. Quality ingredients. Not absurdly large but not too small either. Just the right amount of cookie where you savoring and simultaneously regretting that it's the last bite. Worth driving out to the middle of Foster City. I've been here maybe 1 or 2 times before and I do like crispy cookies but this last visit was specifically for the dubai chocolate cookie and this was perfection! Shop was busy on a Sunday afternoon with the post lunch rush coming in. I was able to order my cookie and have it in had within a few minutes. They typically have several standard flavors in addition to a couple rotating seasonal. Sara also offers ice cream, coffee, and tea. For some reason I've always been served by a couple mean ladies who seem short and rather reluctant to answer questions. Whenever their male employee is at the counter, he's been very friendly and helpful. I recently had the pleasure of trying Sara's Dubai chocolate chip cookie, and I really liked it! It was the most beautiful cookie I'd ever seen. It was a mountain of a cookie with milk chocolate and pistachio drizzles, a ton of crushed pistachio pieces, edible gold glitter, and it was stuffed with delicious buttery kataifi and pistachio creme. It's a recent addition here for a limited time, and their quantity is also limited per day. I would typically expect this to be too sweet, but it's definitely well balanced in that aspect, with the semi-sweet chocolate chips and an expert calculation of ingredients. I'm giving them an extra star simply for their rendition of this trend. The cookies were hot and all smelled soooo good. I love love love that the cookies are not overly sweet. They have the perfect amount of toppings and sweetness.
