Came her for Brunch after some morning pickleball. It's a seat and order yourself restaurant with robot servers. Food was AMAZING! Very nice and clean as well.

This was without a doubt one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. Based on their menu online, you get the impression that they're going to be something like a Village Inn or Dennys. HA HA! The joke is on you! The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in the door is a robotic device carrying food. Cute. A server took us to our table and very quickly explained that we would be ordering from the tablet mounted to wall in our booth. She pointed to an emblem with a QR code and a number on the surface of our table, telling us that we will need to enter the number at the end of the order. Since we do not have physical menus, we must scroll through the options on the tablet. We are both tech savvy, but this is not a conducive way for two people, let alone a party of four to order a meal as we both had to take turns placing our order. If you pause to discuss your menu options with someone in your party, it times out and you have to start over! Although it gives you a warning that it will be timing out, that means someone must always have their eyes on the tablet. When a server eventually brought us some water, we explained our displeasure, and they brought us physical menus. While we reviewed the menu, we ordered our decaf coffees using the tablet, then proceeded with a new order for our food using the tablet. I was going to order a hamburger, but there was no way to indicate how I wanted it cooked. When I finally got the server attention, I was told that they only cook it one way. ARGH! Frustrated, I looked for the least expensive item on the menu, ordering two eggs over easy. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich. To complete our order, we had to pay and TIP in advance. At this point I realized that the servers were doing very little serving, so my tip reflected that. Eventually our food came on the little robotic device which was playing the theme song from "The Jetsons". When it arrived, it announced that our food was here (Duh!) and wait for our server to put the food on our table. When she showed up, we asked for more coffee. Apparently, this did not fit their model, as it took them quite a while to bring it. When she brought it, I asked if it was decaf. She looked at me like I had two heads. I said that is what we ordered, which she would have known if she was being a server. By the time we got our decaf coffee, we were done with our meal. Thanks for nothing. In summary, Buttermilk Eatery is a glorified fast food restaurant with a slightly higher quality and selection of food, yet charges as if they were a full service venue.

The food here is pretty good and there are lots of fun options on the menu. The omelet was a little overcooked in my opinion, but still tasty. I loved my white chocolate mocha latte and the fruit that comes as a side is a good mixture. The "robot" is a little gimmicky but it's a cute touch and the service is still great from the servers. The ambiance is nice and clean. It's not my favorite breakfast place in the area for sure but it's pretty good.

Average food, average service, clean atmosphere. Fun little robot that serves you. Kinda pricey. I'm a big fan of breakfast potatoes but these ones, their "medley potatoes", just didn't do it for me. They were fried up and crispy but the purple ones were kinda wet and the sweet potatoes weren't crispy at all. Real good country fried steak. Decent pancakes.

Food is so good here! We keep coming back for more. We come here at least once a week.

Cool hip concept, lovely looking plates, very expensive and why was the tablet to order on grimy?? Why no outside water bottles? The tablet ordering wasn't good. My partner wanted to order something without peppers and onions but there was no option to take off peppers and onions. The staff were not around so he gave up and ordered something else to avoid sitting and waiting to flag a server down. The tablet had a grimy texture and I was one of the first customers of the day and there was no hand sanitizer or anything to clean your hands with. Not a big deal for someplace like McDonald's but I have higher standards when the price is so steep. I was immediately and uncomfortably told my outside Yeti of water can't be in the resturant. Per the server (and I presume owner?) someone brought alcohol in once and it was a huge issue so now there's a strict no outside food or drink policy. It's a 64oz jug of water... I put it on the bench next to me and put my bag over it and she was satisfied with that. She made a comment "I get yelled at all the time for bringing my water places." Well, it has never been a problem anywhere I've gone. I drink a lot of water and don't expect waiters to constantly fill glasses for me, so I bring my jug. Spoiler alert: I was really thirsty and we had to raise our hands and flag the server down like 5th graders to fill my water Cup. Came on a recommendation from a coworker. I had eggs, sausage and toast and my partner had a breakfast skillet with toast, simple enough. The skillet was approx 16 dollars and my food 14 dollars. You're prompted to leave a tip and pay before you even get your food. Maybe in other cultures tablet based ordering and payment is more streamlined but not in the States. I overheard a couple needing help ordering so the waitress had to lean across the booth to input the order into the tablet so they can't take hand written orders even if they wanted to. The food was just okay. The potatoes were a little medley of purple, sweet, and classic starchy ones. The toast was thick cut. Sausage had very mild spices to it. The skillet had thick cheese shreds which made a nice creamy bite but the potatoes should've been crispier since skillets have so much food on top of itself. I honestly couldn't finish my food. There was just something about the food that didn't bring joy to the stomach. I had high expectations for this place. The outside decor is super cute and I do love my breakfast foods, but something about being made uncomfortable for a water bottle, a grimy tablet, and very bland(?) food just wasn't the breakfast experience I have come to expect from mom and pop style shops The robot was cool for all of two seconds and quickly forgettable. I almost forgot to include the robot at all

Meh Cute interior Friendly servers That's where most of the positives end... Servers seat you and you order via computer screen... you have to click through several screens per item you want to order... if you have questions, you flag the server down, the computer doesn't have a way to call the server over, it doesn't have a way to answer menu questions or make adjustments or special order outside the predetermined parameters.. We were given one water per person and no more, the server didn't come back, we tried ordering another water on the computer, but n ope, no water The food is delivered by a robotic thing on wheels that plays Jetsons music...kitschy... another employee followed it over and put our food on the table So they've eliminated much of the human interaction that would have made this more enjoyable and less like being at home getting my own food... The food itself was only OK... the chicken and waffles did not look like the photo on the computer screen and more like the small chicken fingers, the chicken had a nice seasoning, but seemed prepackaged... the eagle was just atad under cooked, but still edible The fruit bowl with strawberries and blueberries was fresh, but not sweet The pancake breakfast was the best thing ordered, the soft scrambled eggs were perfect and the pancake fluffy... the bacon was ordered well done and one step came that way, the other was less well done... Everything was edible, the order process was insufferable, the wait staff not super attentive... I probably won't hurt back, but the way, at the end, the server said we could have ordered the traditional way if we'd asked... who knew??

This brand new breakfast spot far exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food yummy, the portions were substantial, service was excellent, and they have a fun greenery aesthetic going on. I love the tech that's integrated into the experience. What you see pictured was shared between me and another person and we still had a little bit left. You can order either on the mounted screen or by scanning a QR code at your table. Then, your food is delivered by a rolling robot. It's a neat experience! Definitely will be back. I ordered: Pancake Pack + chocolate chips and cheese grits, Side Bacon, Side Grits, Caffe Latte

Nice place good food and good portions- service was friendly but clearly could use a some assistance. Nice modern vibe. And delicious food. Prices aren't terrible We had the and omelette and a skillet with pancakes. We were both happy pancakes aren't as crispy as I like them but they were still great, the warm syrup definitely helps! Cons! This place has elected for digital ordering through your phone and VR code on the table. Which in theory should be convenient but in truth is just a tool to cut back on overhead from man hours. Hands down the worst part of the experience everything else was pretty good overall.

The server asked if we have been before and we let her know it was our first time so she explained how everything worked. There was an option to either order using the QR code or menus/traditional ordering. We ended up looking at the actual menus and our server took our order. The food came out in a good amount of time with the robot machine, but the server handed it out to us. It was a cool experience to see the robot machine going around the dining area. I was a bit nervous we wouldn't get great service just because of how modernized everything was, but that wasn't the case at all. The food was really great and everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. I absolutely loved their pancakes. The portion sizes were just perfect. I highly recommend for a casual breakfast spot and will return in the future!

Huge portions and solid food…read more You might think why are the omelets so expensive? It's because they are huge and if you get a side of pancakes with it, it's basically two meals. When the pancakes came out I expected maybe 1/4 of that size. You can definitely feed two people with one omelet meal. I did end up bringing home the pancakes for my sons. I thought the pancakes were delicious but they didn't care for them. This is more a cautionary tale for future Christina not to get the pancakes just for the kids. The omelet was solid, I got the Mediterranean one. It's good ol fashioned home cooking. I had recently gotten an omelet at Olivia's earlier that week and it's not on that level, but it's exactly what I'd expect to get from here. Ordering is super easy on their touch screens and there is a server that comes around so I felt well taken care of. The robots are a fun touch. Parking is plentiful and the decor is bright and airy. I'm a fan of this place and I'll definitely be back any time I'm looking for a solid breakfast.

What a lovely brunch spot! Stepping into Sugar Baby Cafe was a unique experience for Seminole, FL…read more It honestly gave me that trendy coffee shop vibe you would expect to find in St. Pete, super aesthetic and very picture worthy! The vibe was very cozy, clean, and hip, mixing modern design with rattan accents and a dash of greenery. It felt clean, cute, and really thoughtfully put together! Service was great. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. I would 100% come back again!!
