Mrs. H was also well balanced and flavorful, but we did all agree the sausage was a little too fennel-y for our taste. Did not by any means ruin the pizza, but just would prefer a little less. We had the roasted jalapeño poppers (don't skip the bacon, worth the add), heirloom tomato salad (so fresh with a yummy balsamic glaze), and the "chicken boy" pizza with the gluten-free Detroit-style deep dish crust. It had smoked chicken, spicy peppers, pickled onions and house made bbq sauce. The kids had a regular crust with pepperoni (the cup pepperonis!). Everything was delicious. The server was friendly and Tim seemed like a manager/owner that really cared that things were quality. They were super knowledgeable about allergens in the food, just ask! After we ate, an employee - maybe the manager or owner - told us we took someone else's order. He was very rude and had an attitude. It's not our fault your ordering system sucks. It's sad because the pizza was actually pretty good and the decor was nice, but the experience was so bad we will never go back. A message to the manager or owner: learn some tact and professionalism. Don't talk to your customers like they're your children. Food was amazing . Want to start off with the positive. Had a simple mix salad and there was nothing simple about it. Mixed greens came with slices of mozzarella and some pesto sauce with chard artichokes on the side. But what made the salad was the lemon vinaigrette. Pepperoni pizza was good and flavorful. Amazing all around! Staff, food & ambiance all exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend and I stopped by this evening after we saw a video on TikTok reviewing the restaurant. To our surprise the restaurant was completely empty, we were quickly & enthusiastically greeted by staff members and given a rundown of the menu. As for the pizza... Our new spot in town!! We ordered the "Meat you in Watsonville" and "Walter" with a side of Hot Honey for takeout. The order took about 25 minutes, and they contacted us when our food was ready. Both pizzas were beautifully made and tasted even better!! I tried their Spicy Vegetarian Castroville and it really lived up to its name and I also ordered a Pepperoni. I must say they were really accommodating when I asked for extra toppings.
