Two repair men arrived at 2:50pm and within 15 min had the diagnoses that I needed a new belt. By 3:45 my dryer was fixed, put back together and the area cleaned up. In times when it seems everyone is beyond rude, Buzz's is a breath of fresh air. I was looking for a basic style fridge for my garage that had the fridge bottom, freezer on top, with no extra features (water dispenser/ ice maker). I went to Buzz's and found one that fit what I was looking for. After taking it home, letting it rest, then plugging it in, I noticed the following day it wasn't running right. I called and he had no issues accepting it back. When I got there, his nephew helped me unload the broken one and they showed me a newer, cleaner fridge they had just got in. They asked me to allow them a day to ensure everything was working correctly but they would trade straight across. The next day his nephew arrived at my place to deliver the replacement fridge. It's been several weeks now and it's running great. They are very friendly at Buzz's, and the prices were very reasonable. We asked Buzz to come out because we were having error codes for our front loading washer. We liked to the choices and tried to resolve the problem ourselves to no avail. Buzz cleaned out some parts and for the washer to work. He explaoined that if we keep getting these same errors it probably means the electronic control panel is going out and it would probably be best to replace the washer. When I asked how much we owed, he only charged the $30 service call fee! He said since he didn't install anything new, and he's not 100% certain he solved the issue, he didn't feel right taking any more $. I am delightfully surprised at John's unheard-of business ethics. He ordered a part for me because the freezer of my 14 yr. old refrigerator-freezer went out. However, the freezer started working on its own the next day. I said to order the part anyway. He later came with the part and said, he is assuming that it is the computer board that caused the issue, but it could be the inverter. Said he would feel so bad if I paid for the new board if that was not the problem. He then suggested that I just wait and see, and he will have this part on hand should I need it. The owner was really nice and patient We agreed on a price (which was more than what I could have gotten on line but it included delivery & installation) that was fair. I wasn't able to move in to my new place for a few weeks and they were willing to hold it for me. So far so good! The units were delivered when discussed and the guys delivering were polite and courteous. The mesh lint trap was kind of dirty and ugly inside so one of the guys (the owner's son) said he'd bring another one by. I thought that was nice to offer but didn't think it would actually happen. To my surprise, today he dropped one off! I have washed about 5 or 6 loads and everything seems to be working great. I am really pleased with my purchase and the choice to go to Buzz's! Recently a scarf got sucked up underneath the center piece of my washing machine and caused it to stop working. They sent out a technician who diagnosed the problem but told me it was unrepairable because the parts were no longer available. I have used them before after being recommended to them by a friend. The service tech was honest, polite and prepared to work. I think the rates were very reasonable. I used them again and was told the repair would be too expensive for the part needed and it would be more cost effective to maybe purchase a different one. The tech even politely told me I could get a second opinion if I wanted to double check to see what the issue was. I understood about the repair needed and agreed with his diagnosis. I do not want to get a second opinion but I thought it was excellent customer service because he was putting the customer before his business. I will make sure I recommend them to everyone I know. They fixed my ice maker and I left town for 2 days to come home to a flooded downstairs. They admitted fault and then they DON'T have INSURANCE! My home has been demolished as of July 25 when I came home to an inch of water in my kitchen, dining room and most of my living room. I am still dealing with clean up and damage repairs and it's August 26th. I've had to make the damage claim through MY Insurance company and will likely get a rate increase.
