I was reviewing people that had already purchased Byers Leaf Guard system. In short, after reading at least 15 to 20 reviews I believe I found what I was searching for, information. The following comments are a result of my data gathering. First, in my opinion, Byers Leaf Guard system is the most expensive system being sold by most, if not all, leaf guard companies. However, it also appears to be the only one in business that puts it is writing that they guarantee you that your Byers installed system is under warranty for life, and if and when the gutters need to be cleaned out they will schedule it with you and do it for free. This also, includes any needed maintenance of your Byers Leaf Guard system. So, like many things in life, if you want the best leaf guard gutter system currently being made and sold, call Byers. However, if you start to question why they charge so much more than the other companies that pretty much won't give you a life time guarantee on your gutters and also, won't commit to cleaning or maintaining them for life. Then you didn't do your homework before you called them for a free quote. More than likely, the devil is in the details and so is the money. read more

I highly recommend the Byers' LeafGuard team! From start to finish they were fantastic! Our estimator, Gary, was a total pro! He was very friendly, answered all our questions, and never once gave us a "hard sell". There was absolutely zero pressure! Susan, our project coordinator, was a godsend! We had 5 different projects going on at once within the span of 3 weeks: new roof, gutters, AC units, insulation, and electrical work. Susan coordinated with everyone involved and everything went just like clockwork! We could not have done it without her! Trevor and Rocky, the install team, were fantastic! They came out on a freezing day with temps never getting out of the 30's and did a super job! They worked like a well-oiled team and had our gutters formed and installed in a matter of hours! The gutters look wonderful and have worked like magic! I had solar in a previous home and my PG&E bill was zero so I new solar works! Well after relocating to Grass Valley and after 1 year of PG&E bills I new that I had to go solar. Kent was our installer for the solatube , now I could tell you how kind , Considerate he was, and professional and clean. But I have a German Shepherd and I'm gonna let him do the review on Kent. Now all of you dog lovers out there know how protective us German Shepherd are, and we are a good judge of character . Kent loves his job, and he was so good to me,,I just loved him, I followed his every foot step, and got as many pats on the head I could get from him, and I got many,,,,he is welcome in my house! Before I write a review I wait until its all done, and that means followup work. I had a great experience with Byers from start to finish....very professional, and friendly. Job was beautifully done and looked great. I put on the hose and noticed rain not coming down chain...so I called and they came right out. Said I might try a rain chain. Didn't know what that was but looked it up on line and bought a pretty copper one...first rain didn't totally go in cups so called them back and right away they came out again...(now this is the true telling of a good company) The young man Nick and Usef looked it over and had a piece of copper they put where the top water would run straight down...great job...looks and words great. Byers' LeafGuard installed their gutter system on our home in Pleasanton, CA, several years ago. The gutter system has performed marvelously. The customer support we have received since installation and the occasional follow-up has been outstanding. Byers' did a complimentary realignment of one of our downspouts when this was required when we poured a new driveway. Tasha in the office kindly scheduled a cleaning of our gutter system recently. The technicians, Daniel and Kyle, arrived on time, were very polite, and did an excellent job cleaning the gutters. When Byers first got into the gutter business we had their gutter system installed on a small part of the house. We liked them so much that we later had them put gutters on the rest of the house, Any time we have had a small problem they came immediately.You couldn't ask for better service and they do as their guarantee As we liked them so much, our son had them install the system at their home in Mountain View. This year we decided to replace the roof and three skylights on our house so we called them and they gave us an estimate. After getting a few estimates, we decided to go with them. I've had Byers LeafGuard Gutters for some time now and I'm truly impress with the way they stand behind the product and workmanship. I had and issue with the run off this past winter and decided to give them a call. Kyle and Damien came out and analyzed the problem and came up with a solution. The work product was excellent, which I have come to expect with Byers. What I was most impressed with was the professionalism demonstrated by both Kyle and Damien. They arrived on time (7:30 AM)and when straight to work. Kyle took the time to explain the problem and the resolution needed. We had Byers Solatube come out to brighten up our home and the workers showed up promptly at 8am on the day of the installation. Everyone that came out to our home from Byers was super nice and they knew their stuff! Our hardwood floors were protected by large clean drop cloths, and they cleaned up afterwards, including the setup area in the driveway. Start-to-finish the installation took a little over two hours. Our formerly dark hallway now has beautiful natural light, with a light fixture inside for nighttime use. Our artwork on the wall really "pops" now and the system casts a warm glow in the hall. I have been wanting a whole house fan for a number of years and discovered at the Yuba Sutter Home and Garden Show that Byers (the Leaf Guard people) also install Solatube Whole House Fans! The Solatube fan is so much quieter than the traditional whole house fan because the powerful 5-bladed fan is at the far end of a 7-foot tube in the attic, not right next to the opening in your ceiling! The free consultation with Kent was knowledgeable, thorough and completely no-pressure, which I really appreciated! Awesome clean, contained installation that very same afternoon. After years of battling gutter problems, trying various types of gutter screens with very little success, and spending long, dirty hours digging gooky crud out of the gutters every year, we replaced our gutters with Byers LeafGuard gutters. After seeing a Byers Solatubes commercial on TV I called and had them installed in my home & was tickled pink with the process and results. Kent, the installer, did a fantastic job. I loved the Solatubes so much I called them back and told them to please come back & install another one. I now have four and they make a huge difference. These Gutters Are not CLOG FREE and they LEAK. We have had these Gutters for over 10 years, and they clog every year, some times every other year, Now they leak. I called the company today 9/28/19 and they said they would not be able to send a service man over till Dec 23rd. That's 3 months we have to wait with a leaking Gutter, they also told me they have one service man and he is over whelmed with Calls. This must mean the gutters have a Problem if the Service man can't keep up with gutter problems. read more

Met a sales rep at a home festival and asked for a quote on my second home. 2 months went by and they never called. I called again for an appointment and made it clear that this was a second home and I would be going up for this purpose. 1/2 day before the appointment they called and wanted to reschedule for a different day. I explained I would not be there and had to go back to work. If this is how they schedule appointments, I would not trust them to install. Waist of time! read more

Toby and Chris (the Byers' installers) were very professional and hard working. They did a great job on our house and finished up literally a few hours before the rain started. Our roof wasn't exactly even but Toby and I developed a solution that worked out great. So far so good on the gutters -- time will tell if they truly don't clog as we have a lot of trees in our neighborhood. They are pricey but with a lifetime warranty hopefully I won't be up on a ladder when I'm retired! read more

Jeff and Eric came out today in the rain and found the leak and repaired it so quickly. They were both polite and professional, they even took pictures of what they found and how they fixed it. They took the time to talk to me about my roof maintenance and what I could do in the future to prevent future leaks. I had new gutters put on the front and back of my house. Scott, Nate and Tyler came out in most unpleasant weather and got the job done. The front of the house has a bunch of tricky angles and they did a great job fitting the gutters to the fascia. Since the installation, the gutters have been tested by light rains, torrential downpours, hail and snow - everything works just the way it's supposed to work. I'm a very happy customer. read more
