STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!. I came to get my blower motor replaced here because it was no longer working. I bought the part from Autozone and had Mike replace it. I brought it to Mike because my old mechanic shut down and this place came up on Yelp rated as 4.5 LOL ( my fault for not paying attention to sample size). Anyways, He charged me $250 , which seemed expensive but I neeeded it replaced ASAP so I proceeded. Mike made it seem as if it was the hardest thing ever but he was able to fix it because he was some kind of genius...he even told me "you got lucky you found me" before I left his shop the first time LOL ..little did I know what I was in for The moment i took my car out the lot, I noticed a noise coming from my AC. I called Mike to inform him and he said it was normal, so I let it be for a few days. After a few days, the noise became so annoying that I couldn't drive my car without music blasting. I decided to take the car back to show him and he stated it was just the blower motor I had bought from Autozone but assured me that this was normal. a few days later, my blower motor stops working completely. At this point I'm frustrated because I had taken time off of work twice and this was now the third time. So I pull in to the parking lot and this piece of sh*t doesn't even greet me...when I finally go up to him; he immediately starts cursing, pointing fingers, and yelling at me stating that the issue was with the blower motor. We spent about 10 minutes yelling at each other lol it turns out he had me confused with another customer but the damage had been done already and I was over it: at the end he decided to take a look at the blower motor and hit it with his flashlight and it got it to work again. The moment it started working, I left immediately because I couldn't stand this guy anymore. This fix only last 30 minutes before it gave out again. I'm now down $500 (part and labor) and having to ride a car in this 90 degree weather, with no AC. I'm typing this review as I'm sweating because I'm so frustrated!! Now I have to take a fourth day off of work and take it to another mechanic and spend more money... TRUST ME...STAY AWAY. read more

I don't know why I haven't written a review of this place until now. I've been coming here for more than 10 years and I will not go anywhere else. I've had a Nissan Maxima and Toyota Camry which was maintained regularly by Mike the owner for more than 10 years and I finally sold them both with over 275,000 miles on it. He continues to care for my BMW, Infiniti, and Toyota and I have no complaints. Mike is very sincere and honest. He'll never tell you to do unnecessary repairs. I've referred lot of friends over the years and they are all happy with the service. It's little hard to find when you first look for the place because it's between two big auto centers but once you find it, you'll be glad you did. read more

Any make, model, or year... dude is on his ish! Back in college, when I was living off Top Ramen, and hot dogs, this man took my poor little 84 Dodge Charger, rebuilt the manual fuel pump, and bypassed it with an electric one. He didnt charge me an arm and a leg. He kept that lil hoompty running like a champ for years. He is considerate, and will not perform unnecessary over-inflated service on your vehicle. I patronized this business for the 1st time 2 days ago. I was hoping to find a local mechanic I could trust. My horn on a 2008 Honda Civic wasn't working. He charged me $120 to fix my horn but failed to give me an itemized receipt that breaks down the parts and labor of the dollar amount he charged me. I went back a 2nd time to request an explanation of parts and labor and I still didn't get an itemized answer. Too many auto repair businesses are ripping off customers. I asked for itemized payment details. I didn't receive them. That's not good business practice. I don't know anyone who doesn't want to know exactly what their paying for when it comes to expensive auto repair. I wouldn't refer this business to anyone. read more

Mike is the best! He fixed my check engine light, something the dealer couldn't do, no matter how many times I took my car in. Mike even took my car in for its smog check, saving me so much time and trouble. My twelve year old MPV drives like a dream now, better than it ever has. No more knocking on hills, and more power than it's had in years. He always explains his work to me, and makes sure I understand exactly what he's going to do, something I truly appreciate being a woman and not too savvy about cars. Talk to Mike! He is one of the last honest mechanics. I had my transmission rebuilt by him, and it malfunctioned. I lost my receipt. When I brought this malfunction to his attention, he informed me that he didn't repair my transmission. It should be noted that this was months prior and he had forgotten. Mike asked me to bring in my receipt. I told him that it was lost. He paused and begin to ponder. He said, "look bring it in, I know my own work". He made this statement in a very respectful tone. He was that good to where he could decipher if it was his masterpiece. He called me shortly and apologized. It was his work. He gave me a new receipt. That was 6 years ago, and I've been back ever since. read more

I went to this shop for my A/C. They told me that I had the fluid that I need for my A/C to work and that I had a electrical problem. He lied that I had A/C fluid but I did have a electrical problem. He charged me $40 for this job of telling me a lie and not fixing the problem. I went to a different place today and they told me I had no fluid at all. This experience was horrible and I would never take my car to them again. read more

i originally went to this place because two people who didn't know each other recommended i go to this mechanic and see mike. Mike is such a great mechanic. He's such a nice man and honest and he speaks excellent english! (sounds bad but its an important quality when discussing car mechanics). I originally went to him for a problem with my car that i was getting 10 different answers to. Mike checked out my car (free of charge), showed me what was wrong and educated me on my car in Lehman's terms and gave me a good deal on rotter's (bc that was the problem, not my wheel barrings which would have cost me a pretty penny). I've been going to him for almost 3 years now and even tho i've moved almost 20 miles away i still go to him regularly for my oil changes. He always makes me feel comfortable in his waiting area, that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years...he turns on the TV, offers sandwiches lol and is very personable. couldn't ask for a better mechanic. :) read more

I see great reviews from everyone so I went to get a estimate on replacing upper and lower radiator hose plus two heater hose and two belts. I have all the part to do the job and only thing I was asking was just to replace the parts. First he wanted $200 just to do the job, than he wanted to use two of the connectors from AC Delco and ask for $250. It's not like I don't know how to do the replacement, it is just the mess I don't want to deal with when draining the radiator fluids and crawling under the car to replace the air conditioner belt. If I had a lift and a place to do the job than I would be doing the whole thing myself. If Mike was fair with you than fine, but in my view there is no way I would say he is fair in price. Because I was able to fine a mechanic to the same job for the half of what Mike was asking. One other indicator that turned me off was that place was not busy like some of other places I've visited. I wonder why he is not busy like some other shops? So there you have it my experience with Mike at C&A Auto Repair Center. There are lots of good mechanics who are really honest and fair out there so keep shopping around. read more
