This an auto repair shop is THE local place to go to for your repairs. My dad had to get his valve cover gasket replaced. Arriving at the repair shop, each person was very helpful and made sure we had someone that helped us. We were waiting outside while the car was being assessed and another worker made sure that someone came out to help us and checked in on us. We worked with David and Art and both of them were so helpful and nice. The best part, they will give you a great deal for the service. Other places will try to make things overpriced but here, they are reasonable. After the car was finished David made sure to show us his work to make sure we were satisfied and happy with the repairs. He also showed us how to fix a rod to keep the hood up which something I struggled with from time to time. I will definitely go back to this auto repair shop when I have any issues with my car. I had a bad experience with these guys I took my car in to get a tune-up and found out that I needed a radiator because the one I had had a hole in it. We agreed to $962 for new radiator, and a full tune up. They did have to job and replaced my radiator but did not give me a tune-up because they said I had oil on my intake manifold. And they just don't work on Dodge magnums. If you weren't going to do the full job, why would you do half of it. LAX Auto Repair should have gave me the option of letting them fix my radiator itself, or taking my car to someone else who would do the full tune up and the radiator. They fixed my radiator then gave me a phone call saying that they're not going to do my tune up held my keys hostage until I paid $625 for the radiator job. I feel that LAX Auto Repair in Gardena California should have gave me the option. The only reason they are getting one star is because of the professionalism of the Sun. read more

Update march 18th after my jan 30th 2018 review, will go get oil changed. David took off all 4 tires on my 2009 Scion xB and informed me I was in need of an immediate brake job. With 4 new rotors. I had no grinding and he quoted me $350 but could be cheaper if I wanted to use parts made in China. Last fall my daughter had a brake job on her 2010 Ford Focus ses cost with 2 new rotors was $280.00. Difference is quote on focus was from Jay the previous owner. Too bad David wants take advantage of long time customers. They cleaned up office, when I went David was there but owner wasn't so David admitted to me that Jay had sold the shop.
