I had been going to this cleaners since 2002. Thru 2 owners and about 16 years of good service but NOT ANYMORE! This Vietnamese women & husband are rude and absolutely do not know how to dry clean. The son is pleasant and that's as it. My final straw was a lost shirt that they tried to blame me then they found it in their "stained stack" with stains that their machines put on it! They knew it but refused to admit they lost it, covered it up & then tried to charge me for ruining my shirt. I told them after 20 yrs I would NEVER set foot in there again. Dry cleaners aren't a place most people review unless they are really upset about something. Quite evident here as they have 8 reviews over an 11 year span and only 6 are complaints. Not bad, one complaint every other year. I mostly bring shirts in to get laundered and pressed and they come back clean and pressed. Haven't had any issues with their dry cleaning either. I'll keep using them. read more

We are long time customers of C and C cleaners. We always bring our dress shirts and suits there and they always come back nice. We did recently have an issue where we needed something early and our ticket said it would be available to us next day and it wasn't; however, we will continue to use them. Just don't go if you need something in a few days! read more

They did an awful job on about 10 of my short sleeve shirts. Collars were wrinkled and not ironed correctly. I brought the shirts back and showed the Vietnamese lady owner the problem and she told me that that's the way they iron collars. I pointed out that they were not ironed properly and asked that she correct the problem. She refused and tried to blame the wrinkles on the way the shirts were positioned on the hangars. When I insisted she told me "GOOD LUCK WITH OTHER CLEANERS". I told her I couldn't do any worse. read more

I hate dry cleaning. I have some friends that LOVE IT and dry clean everything, but I just hate it. If I can't wash it I don't want to buy it. Anyways, I do have a few dresses that need to be dry cleaned and I opted for this location because one of my friends recommended it. I dropped off 4 dresses to get cleaned and it cost $43 - not too shabby! So far nothing seems out of place (shrunk, ripped, etc). read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I have had two awful experiences, and if I could give them 0 stars I would. The first time I went here the lady ruined a dress over $200 and acted like I was the person at fault. The second time she did not get any of the stains out of the tops I brought in. She didn't even let me know about it... I found out at home AFTER she decided to charge me full price. I went back in and told her that they still had stains on them. She was unbelievably RUDE and refused to do anything about it. Again, acted like I was the person at fault. Do not waste your time going to this lady and her business. Go find another cleaners who does the job and appreciates their customers read more

I have been going to this place for years, and they were decent at their service UNTIL they lost three of my favorite dresses at ONE TIME. This is the only place I've brought dry cleaning for years, and I could remember bringing them in. They definitely lost them, or allowed the dresses to go off with another customer that didn't notice. The owner allowed me to look for them, but didn't even bother to apologize for my loss. I am not asking for an admission that they lost the dresses, since there is no way to prove this. However, could you just be sorry for my distress? Offer me a little free dry cleaning?? No. However, when I called back, one of the employees, that has been there for three years, was extremely kind, sympathetic, and helpful on the phone. No dresses found, but at least a little compassion received. Lessons learned: 1 - Always keep track of the dry cleaning receipt given at time of drop-off. 2 - Bring only one piece of valued clothing at a time. 3 - Do not return to this place. read more

I wish that I could give them no stars. Consistently did not fulfill my requests. Standing order to have my shirts folded and time and time again they were not. They even had it as a standing order on my account and still not done. They promised work at specific times and then did not fulfill the promise. Too many promises made that were not fulfilled. The clothing was always clean, but I too had trouble with double creases and funky pressing. I will never go back. read more

Not reliable under new ownership. Dropped off 3 shirts for same day service at 8:30am. They said no problem will be ready at 3:30pm this afternoon. Show up at 5:30pm and shirts not even touched. I said I could wait as I needed them for a trip. Their response was machine was turned off, sorry. They don't even deserve 1 star but I can't post without giving them 1. read more

My experience today with this dry cleaner was EXTREMELY discouraging and has prompted me to warn others to not use this cleaner. The new shirt that they dry cleaned was ripped to shreds by their process. When I attempted to address the problem, they explained the shirt was "dry rotted". This shirt is a 100% Egyptian cotton Joseph Abboud "No Wrinkles" shirt that they completely mutilated. When I pointed out it came back in worse condition than when brought in, they incredulously kept claiming "dry rot" and waved me off. Clearly, they do shoddy work and don't care about customer satisfaction. Beware when handing over your clothes to this vendor. I only wish this review would allow me to show my picture as proof. read more

I haven't had great experiences with this place despite giving them three separate tries. The dress shirts that I had laundered and pressed all had the little button near the cuff smashed, and they were all on the same side. I'm guessing it's due to their way particular of pressing that predisposes those little buttons to being crushed. They were kind enough to sew on another button when it was brought to their attention, even though there is a sign clearly stating that they will not be held accountable for broken buttons. That truly was nice of them. My slacks were all drycleaned there and came out less than desired. The white inner lining of the slacks were all pristine going in but came out like they were washed in water or something. Admittedly I don't know what is involved in the drycleaning process and this may be the norm, but I've never had that happen before at any other cleaners. The folks are nice enough, but I will never return here again. read more

This was my 3rd - and LAST - time to go to this place for dry cleaning/laundry. I had 5 dress shirts done there this week and asked for LIGHT starch like I always get for my dress shirts. One of them came back with heavy starch, just like the previous time I had been there. I asked them to re-do it and when I picked it up today, it was also heavily starched. After some questioning of how their cleaning process works, the owner - STEVE - came to the counter. He acted like he was doing me a favor just to talk to me. I asked a couple of detailed questions about his process and it became immediately clear to me that no matter whose shirts are in a load, they are all going to get starched the same way. The amount added seems very arbitrary. I'm convinced that rather than making sure the customer is taken care of, Steve cuts corners for his own good. I would have considered letting him re-do it once again but he was so condescending and arrogant that I told him I would not be back. read more

Had my skirt cleaned today. .was told very nasty about them paying my card fee that I knew nothing off. Tried to question her and she raised her voice saying they have to pay more. She charged my card the "5.00 and I told her I will NEVER come here again. I said they should have a sign on door or on my pick up slip. read more

I used to go there about 5 years ago pretty regularly. Product return was good, not great. Not cheap either. I started trying other locations on Jeff Hwy but Alamo near Mark Twain apts ships their stuff out and the cashier smokes inside. I then went to USA Cleaners on the corner of Citrus and Hickory but stuff came back with stains that weren't there when I brought it in.TWICE! I then went to the new one on Jeff Hwy near the river ridge/Harahan line and sadly I can't remember the name. They did a great job but not cheap. To try to save $$ my next stop was back to C&C to give the new owners a try. So sorry I did. I brought a sweater I had only worn once, men's shirts and slacks. Worst job I have ever seen. Sweater is ruined. 6 metal buttons were missing!! The man's shirt can hide the flaws with a tie and jacket. Will NEVER return. read more

I used to go here regularly but since it is under new ownership the quality of service has declined bad enough that I quit using them. Creases were ironed I to shirts, pants come back with double creases like they didn't bother to line up the existing leg creases. I pointed these out both times and all I got was a shrug and was told that is typical of the dry cleaning process. Funny it wasn't under the previous owners. I tried Viola's on jefferson highway and they were worse in cleaning and customer service. read more

We left a brand new Calvin Klein formal dress for cleaning of a small makeup mark. After they cleaned the dress, the black color from the bottom of the dress had faded over the white bodice making part of it mottled and gray. The woman that owns the shop demanded payment "because we cleaned it." I asked her if she really believed that she should be paid for a cleaning that completely ruins the dress. She says, "Yes." No apology...no concern for ruining the dress. We have used this dry cleaner for more that 13 years. We were customers long before this family took over and we will never use this business again. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CLOTHING, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. IF YOU ARE A LONG TIME CUSTOMER, BEWARE...IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU EVENTUALLY AND THEY WILL SHOW NO VALUE FOR YOUR PAST OR FUTURE BUSINESS. Sad. read more
