photo 9 months ago C&E failed in so many ways. My daughter's jeep was there for 3-1/2months. My husband was called to pick it up 4 times and 4 times things that had been pointed out over and over again were not done, on the 5th time he got one mile from C&E with the Jeep before the transmission seized because somewhere along the line C&E never checked the transmission or transmission fluid after the Jeep was there due to a front end collision! I'm no mechanic but clearly these guys aren't either. We paid out $1200 more to a jeep dealer to put in a used transmission that C&E clearly caused and refused to pay us back for. Con artists and morons run this business. Get ready to double and triple check any work you have had done by them, they are disgusting! Update 2025: C&E decided to not pay for our rental during the period listed above b/c I gave them a bad review and told the rental place that it was our bill, it went to collections before we even found out. I had to file a claim with my insurance for a weather related accident around the bumper and hood of my vehicle. My insurance told me C&E is where I needed to drop it off. After 3 weeks, my car was ready for pick up. However, upon inspection, there were still chips, scratches and visible paint bubbles in the one area they were supposed to fix. I refused to sign off on the car and asked to have the manager call me. After speaking with the manager the following day, they apologized and said they would get it back in the shop and done right. While I was waiting for my vehicle the second time, the business put me in a luxury rental and took less than a week to fix. Upon pick up, my car was detailed and looked brand new. The manager personally walked around my car and again apologized for the error. While this business did not fix my car initially to the expectations we aligned on, they did make it right the second time and that's what matters in my eyes. I really appreciate the transparency and efforts to make up for the mistake and do right by the customer. read more

Another insurance company "referral" turned into a horror show. While I could go on and on about the runaround, here's a new one. After taking my car apart to determine that the car was a total loss, they refused to let me take it off the lot without a tow truck ($250 out of my pocket). Two important things: First, the car was totally drivable as I drove it in and it was driven to me when I insisted on seeing it. Second, I owned the car outright and they had no right to hold my vehicle hostage. They very much confused some internal policy with the law. I was told by many (including law enforcement) that so long a I was willing to sign a waiver (which I was), they could not keep my vehicle against my wishes. They even made sure to tell each other to make sure I never held the car keys so I couldn't drive away. Real shit show. read more

I filed a claim with my insurance for a side door panel repair. This was one of Geico's recommended shops. Initially the manager of the shop told me the car would be ready Friday. Damage was from a side swipe from another vehicle. My husband picked up the car and brought it home. The car was a mess. The car had no electrical issues or locking issues when it went into the shop but after picking it up, the locks were not working, auto lock. The seats could not more forward or backwards and the windows would not move up or down. I was unable to use the vehicle after picking it up. Manager offered to fix this but I needed to bring it back and after this I was not comfortable bringing back a 2022 SUV back to this shop. They left the left hand door electrical completely undone. Insurance reimbursed the cost of this after taking it to the dealer. If you are looking for a professional job this is not the place to take your car. read more

This place is the best!!! Their employees are all great! My car went in for a routine detail at a local place (where I had been before). When I went to pick up my car they took off my paint all over my car. I contacted Kenny at C&E Auto. From the pictures I sent him he said bring it down I will take care of it! Interestingly enough I just got a flat tire about 20min ago and the first thing I did was google the closest tire shop. I was about a half mile away from the nearest tire shop. I thought maybe I should risk it and drive a half mile on a flat tire because I certainly didn't want to call AAA and pay for the service on top of getting my tire fixed. So a drove maybe a few yards up the road but then I thought, I may not make it even though it was only a half mile to nearest tire shop. I look over to my left and I see C&E auto. What are the odds but unfortunately they did not have any tires available to change it. So I should have asked for gentleman's name who was kind enough to put on the spare tire free of charge. I was stoked with gratitude. I can't say enough about C&E certainly a class above the rest. read more

You can't spell crappiness without C & E. Honestly looking back now I blame myself for taking Liberty Mutual's recommendation versus choosing my own autobody shop. But that's a review for another time. C & E was bad from start to finish. The "text alerts" that supposedly keep you up to date with how your car is doing are a joke. When I came to pick up my car on the day they said it was ready (actually I came four days later because I couldn't make it there that day), the car wasn't, in fact, ready. They told me they were waiting on a muffler (I found out later it was actually the trim over the wheel well). Back into my lame Nissan Sentra rental car I went...late to work for no reason. A week later (text alerts had been nonexistent during this time), C & E called me saying my car was all set. I arrived finding it unwashed and with what felt like sandpaper all over the now-repaired bumper. The tech/receptionist said it was overspray, then when I complained to Liberty they looked into it and the owner of C & E claimed the stuff was oak tree buds that got stuck there. You know, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but it was there...on the newly painted car. You'd think they'd make sure the car looked awesome when you pick it up...rather than unwashed and covered in bumps. I insisted they fix it, the downside being I had to yet again climb back into my lame Nissan Sentra rental car...fuming that I had to wait another few days to get my car back. P.S. I don't think it was from an oak tree. I had a few more conversations with Liberty and I told them I wanted to use a different shop. That didn't happen, but whatever. Finally, I got a call from C & E saying the car was all set, without any acknowledgement/apology of how my car looked the last time. When I went to pick it up (now the third attempt for those keeping track at home) they had buffed out the bumps, but I noticed the bumper had a bulge in it near the seam, and there were small scratches on either side where they must have used some sort of clamp to attach the bumper. And the best part? It was parked right under an oak tree, and my car had sticky sap all over the back of it. And this time I agree, it was definitely from that tree it was parked squarely underneath. You know, everyone makes mistakes. But if this were my shop, I'd make sure at this point that the car looked amazing, washed and shining. And not parked under an oak tree covered in sticky crap. But that's fine. I'll just write a scathing Yelp review. Oh wait, I just did. CrappinEss, indeed. read more

In short - I had an all-around amazing experience with C&E Auto and highly recommend them. Period. My Toyota had damage on both front sides (dents, paint transfer, door partially jammed) and after shopping around I found C&E to be one of the lowest prices compared with the dealer, etc. With some trepidation because I was paying for it myself (not insurance) I brought in the car. When I returned a week later I found the damage to be more than completely fixed - it was literally like new! The quality of the work was outstanding.... as the saying goes, it was like it never happened. This alone makes them worth recommending. Unfortunately though when I drove it home I got an intermittent sensor warning from the camera, so I had to bring it back. Their techs analyzed the situation and didn't see any problems or errors in the computer and it seemed OK, but then after I took it back it appeared again a couple of days later. I spoke with the manager Tony who apologized and and told me to bring it in and he would do what needs to be done to take care of it at no cost - and that when I got it back it would be 100%. Over the next few days I kept in touch with C&E as they went to extraordinary lengths to fix my car and make it right, ultimately replacing both the grill and the radar sensor, and then sending it to the dealer for recalibration, all on their own dime. All of that HAD to cost at least 50% or more of what I paid for to fix the car in the first place - and they just did it because they were keeping to their word to make it right! I'm honestly astounded - what business lives up to their word like that any more? It ended up being more time and cost than either of us expected it to be for them to "make it right", but they really kept to their word and they went considerably above and beyond. Otherwise - I found them to be overall very responsive and professional - from the 2-3 front desk people I spoke with to the head mechanic who came out at one point to answer a few questions I had. Notwithstanding the sensor issue I had, the only other minus was that it took a few days longer than was originally estimated to get the car initially fixed. It wasn't a big deal in my case, but did take a few extra days. Overall - very highly recommend C&E Auto. Talking to another mechanic friend of mine later he says this sensor issue comes up from time to time, but they way C&E handled it made it one of the best experiences I have ever had with ANY small business. read more

While my car was being repaired at C&E, they reached out to me regarding the possibility of a difference in "shine" between the original car parts and new car parts. I have been to C&E Autobody twice now for work done on my car and I couldn't be happier! The first time my Scion had a small patch of rust, and the guys at C&E did a fantastic job of buffering out the rust and seamlessly painting the spot. While I know that rust is a pain and work like that cannot be guaranteed, I have yet to see even a speck and the work was done 4 years ago! Next, my poor Scion was viciously sideswiped (while parked!) leaving me with damage to the driver's side door, front panel, and a dangling side mirror. Tony, the manager, was beyond helpful! He worked with me and the insurance company to make sure everything went smoothly. After some tender love from C & E the damages to my Scion was fixed and it looks great - from the paint to new mirror you would never know that it was in an accident. I truly felt as though Tony went out of his way to ensure that I received the best possible service and my car received the best possible care. I took my car here as part of Geico's "express" repair shops. This process has been anything but express. So far I have been without my car for about a month.....and counting...for minor damage to the rear of the car. The physical repairs to the car were done in about 10 days but when I came to take delivery of the car the rear lift gate was not operating (it worked when I dropped it off). Since then I have been given constant runaround and promises that the car will be ready "tomorrow", I am not sure they know what this word means since it has been three weeks of "tomorrows". Whenever I call to get answer they promise to call back with an update but never do. I think they fail to realize that they are in the service industry...missing the whole point of providing customer service. I will not take my car here again nor would I recommend to even my enemies. read more

Warning! Do not use C&E if you need extensive mechanical work done, especially accident related. Chose then as a preferred shop from Liberty Mutual because they claim to guarantee their work. They returned my car back to me more than 4 times with noises and undiagnosed damaged parts. Parts they supposedly fixed are now needing to be replaced out of pocket because they are claiming warranty limitations. I have good reason to believe they misdiagnosed the severity of the damage done intially and now I'm having to fix those same problems with my own money. They refused to give me print outs of the 5 times my car was being worked on after I claimed I will be seeking reimbursement in small claims court. They admitted the person who had been test driving my car isn't a mechanic. Poor customer service all across the board. If you want to feel safe in your car after being in an accident don't take your car here. You will not be at peace. read more

Due to an accident my car was here and they did an amazing job on my car upon picking my car up and leaving I realized the tire was a little bit flat. I did not think too much out of it I put air in my tire and went to work. When I left work that night however I realize my tire was completely flat. I have called and left eight different voicemails as this is something that happens there considering that's when it was noticed and probably because they had so many cars all shopped together that was God knows what on the ground. It was not a great experience with these guy although they are polite. When it come to car repairing, it became a nightmare. I use these guy because it was recommend through liberty mutual. So my new car got crashed in the front and side fender was chipped, what they going to do is order new part replace my front bumper and grill, realign my fender and repaint as well. They got it done in about 5 days, not impressed. AND THEN, WHEN I INSPECT THE CAR, the fender was painted poorly, rough surface and corner of the paint was about to peel off. I told the guy who drove the car to me and he said, oh those are just excessive paint, no worry. ( I am like wow, seriously?) I told him ok, but looks like it was peeling off. Of course he tried to brush me off! And as I inspect more, the inside of the fender chip was not painted either (they probably think I would not check it and leave it like that? REALLY?! NOT ACCEPTABLE!) Not to mention the front grill was not snap tightly. In the end, they took my car back and get it right this time. it took them another 2 days. I also try to have them took care one of the chipped spot on my side door, guess what they the guy told me? you GOT TO PAY A THOUSAND BUCK DOOR BECAUSE WE GO TO MAKE THE PAINT MATCH AND IT IS THREE STAGE PAINT. Hey, WTF!? for a spot less than penny size? Anyway, I got that took care at other place less then $100 buck. At the end I got my car back, they deliver to home instead of at work which I was waiting for them, also with a scratched rear bumper (like really? scratch my new car) but I am not going to bother to tell them because wrong place to start with. I was thinking about giving this business a 5-star review because they really did a great job on my car. However, when I checked the mileage, I noticed they were using my car: they added 200 miles to it! Yes, they were probably using it for their own personal needs. I've heard that mechanics sometimes do this to diagnose problems, but my car had no mechanical issues and just needed a very minor collision repair. I am very disappointed about this. I would recommend this place to you if you don't mind the fact that they will be driving your car around, for their own personal maters, without informing you. Good luck. read more

I brought my car here after a minor rear end. I thought everything would be faster seeing as they're a Geico express repair shop. Initially, two day estimate for replacing the rear bumper and tire. After I called (because they never call you back), I was told there was additional damage to the car, doubling the cost of repair and length of time. I'm skeptical about the additional damage they "found," but maybe it did exist. After I call and they tell me it's ready, I go to pick up my car. Only after I'm there in person do they tell me they ordered the wrong tire and I'll need to bring the car back the next day! Finally get my car back and I get a low tire pressure warning the next day. Turns out there is a nail in my tire. They were so rude, I actually wondered if they put the nail in my tire on purpose. I would avoid this repair shop at all costs unless you'd like to experience terrible service and untrustworthy mechanics. read more

A Tree fell on my car and my insurance company suggested C & E Auto. I definitely was very nervous on how it would turn out because my car is a lease and there was significant damage done. C & E was very helpful throughout the entire process, they were always available when I called to check in or had any questions. The estimated time for my car to be finished was two weeks. When it was not completed, Tony, their manager offered to pay for a rental car until it was completed. They even offered to pick me up to get the rental car. When my car was finally completed it looked amazing, literally better than before. My fiancé was so impressed with them he is thinking about using them for the damage on his car as well!
