After 3 weeks, my car was ready for pick up. However, upon inspection, there were still chips, scratches and visible paint bubbles in the one area they were supposed to fix. I refused to sign off on the car and asked to have the manager call me. After speaking with the manager the following day, they apologized and said they would get it back in the shop and done right. While I was waiting for my vehicle the second time, the business put me in a luxury rental and took less than a week to fix. Upon pick up, my car was detailed and looked brand new. The manager personally walked around my car and again apologized for the error. While this business did not fix my car initially to the expectations we aligned on, they did make it right the second time and that's what matters in my eyes. I really appreciate the transparency and efforts to make up for the mistake and do right by the customer.

My husband was called to pick it up 4 times and 4 times things that had been pointed out over and over again were not done, on the 5th time he got one mile from C&E with the Jeep before the transmission seized because somewhere along the line C&E never checked the transmission or transmission fluid after the Jeep was there due to a front end collision! I'm no mechanic but clearly these guys aren't either. We paid out $1200 more to a jeep dealer to put in a used transmission that C&E clearly caused and refused to pay us back for. Con artists and morons run this business. Get ready to double and triple check any work you have had done by them, they are disgusting! Update 2025: C&E decided to not pay for our rental during the period listed above b/c I gave them a bad review and told the rental place that it was our bill, it went to collections before we even found out. C&E are horrible people whom seem to get away with a lot. Just saying

I brought my older BMW into Haskins for service and an estimate after being rear ended. They quickly provided a detailed estimate and ran through a few alternatives that I could think about, but sadly my insurance company determined that the car was a total loss and gave me the option of a payout for the value of the car. After agreeing to the amount, my insurance company tried to reduce the settlement and pay me considerably less. The people at Haskins were not obligated to help me negotiate with my insurance company (they were being paid their full amount regardless), but they went over and above and fought for me. They convinced my insurance company that what they were doing was not right, and I was paid every dollar I was promised! I could not have had a better outcome. I would recommend Haskins and their people to anyone (especially local Wellesley/Weston neighbors) needing automotive help. We are lucky to have this shop in town!!

I brought my 2002 Chevy Silverado in to have some serious body rust repaired, and they did an absolutely spectacular job - I was blown away by the results. The truck looks as good as it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. Daryl is a perfectionist, and it shows in his work - he treats your vehicle like it's his own. The outcome exceeded my expectations by a mile. The most impressive thing... like most people, I had a limited budget. So, Daryl spent a ton of time with us, sharing his expertise and patiently helping us figure out how to make our money go as far as possible - what would be worth it, where we could save a little, and what we could afford to skip. The end result turned out amazing, and the work came in BELOW the estimate. I'm simply blown away by his workmanship. I got a quote from them from them for around $1400 which included them dissembling the car, painting it, and then reconditioning it before picking it up. When I arrived the first time, my driver mirror was still unpainted. The front splitter was painted black not green, and the hood was painted extremely poorly. They also never cleaned my car even though I was charged for it. So I had to bring it back a second time, showed them my hood was still unpainted in some areas, the car was never even cleaned even though I paid for it and my mirror was still unpainted. What appeared to be the owner came out and realized how poor of a job they did he was very nice and stated they would correct the issues but I'd have to leave my car there again, which was fine. When I picked my car up for the final time it was cleaned, no sanding dust all over my interior and exterior. But the hood was touched up very poorly, instead of repainting the whole panel again they just touched up the areas they missed very poorly instead. My mirror cap was painted green, but they broke the mounting clips and instead of telling me they broke it or getting a new mirror they used double sided tape to stick it on since can't be secured with the clips they broke and it fell off on my way home. The mirror glass shakes violently on the highway indicating they broke more than just the mirror cap that was supposed to be touched and didn't tell me they broke either.

The inspector explained the findings clearly and I appreciated their advise in advance to point out an issue with my windshield which would potentially fail the test and offer me options on how to proceed.
