A few times I have ordered their bacon burger, and this time I got the bbq burger with bacon added. The buns is like a ciabatta bread so it makes the burger even better! Found this place on yelp because it was close to my work. I got the Reuben sandwich and waffle fries. I ate my fries to fast to take a picture because they were that good haha. The sandwich was also delicious! Cheesy hot and crispy with perfect balance of flavor. I'm kind of a Reuben snob and this one checked every box! And to top it all off, their fry sauce reminds me of one of my favorite old restaurants that has closed for years now so that was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back. They've got great breakfast burritos. I had their philly Cheesesteak which is pretty okay. I was looking forward to trying their crispy chicken sandwich menu and placed an order for the southwest chicken sandwich. I ended up getting something way different than what is described on the menu. Some nasty sandwich with and I kid you not, loose kernels of corn falling out all over the damn place! It was the worst chicken sandwich I had in a while. So I'm wondering did I miss read something? So I call in and ask what is on the Southwest Chicken sandwich as listed on your menu thinking maybe the online menu is wrong or not updated. The lady didn't even know what's on the sandwich. Some other lady gets on the phone and explains that they have a southwest chicken wrap and a Southwest chicken sandwich on the menu but both with completely different ingredients. I wanted to say how freaking stupid that is but I was trying to be as nice as I could despite the fact I was clearly upset. Aside from this completely stupid mistake, this place should follow the example of Jimmy Johns and deliver to nearby offices. My office is just up the hill. It's going to be a while before I attempt to order anything from Knickerbockers. They were kind enough to refund me for the mistake but it still left me without a lunch because fuck that corn stuffed bullshit sandwich they made. If I do order from there in the future then I will update my review but for now I'm very unimpressed. read more
