I've used C&L a couple of times now and they have been great. I took my 2009 Corolla in for bumper/fender damage and they were able to repair it at a reasonable price. They matched the paint and aligned the seams with excellence. A couple of months ago someone rammed our Kia Sorrento while we were in Chino. C&L sent a vehicle out to pick us up, switched out our child car seats, and drove us home. Then they sent a tow truck to tow our Sorrento back to the shop to be repaired. An unlicensed driver ran a red light and crushed the front end of my wife's Toyota Sienna. The AAA tow truck driver recommended C & L (against AAA's rules) and we didn't know of another place. I later decided to have the work done at a AAA Immediate Repair shop to avoid a drawn out claims adjuster process and to get AAA's lifetime guarantee. C & L first made it difficult to get a release so the car could be taken to another shop. Then, they insisted that the tow company (a AAA contractor) pay them cash to release the car. After a couple days of hassle, they accepted an overnight check from AAA. In the end, they held the car hostage for five days. In my opinion, they were just running up storage fees which the first tow truck driver said they wouldn't do. I suspect Javier, the driver, got some sort of kick-back. I am sooooo glad that we didn't have the work done at this place. On a better note, 5-Stars to the Arcadia police department and especially Officer Long. read more

I've used them for several different things over the years. Once due to an accident, another time for help in a restoration of an antique auto. They even have helped us out in a bind with a cash only deal when my daughter backed into a neighbors car that was parked on the street. With my accident they perfectly matched the paint (which in itself was a feat given it was a not so common paint that was 5 years old at the time) and realigned all of the affected body parts. They were done in the estimated time allotted for the job. We got status calls during the process to let us know when the car would be done. The end result was a repair that left no sign that the rear quarter panel had been caved in. Maurice helped me out tremendously with the restoration of my antique auto a couple of years ago. It was a rare car with an even rarer paint that they were able to match to original. There was some light body work needed that entailed a bit more time than was originally estimated but they let us know of the delay. They were very communicative during the process and even allowed me to visit them to see the progress. In the end it was a show quality job that I even won awards for the cars presentation at shows. The last and most recent use of C&L was due to unfortunate series of events that lead to my daughter having to pay cash only when she bumped into the neighbors car. Maurice came to the rescue and helped us out, working with us to get the job done as inexpensively as possible yet get good quality. There were some weather delays that the shop kept us informed of regarding ability to paint. The job was done in the time allotted once weather cleared up. More importantly the neighbors were very happy with the end result which helped keep harmony with them. All and all we have been very happy with the quality of work at C&L as well as the service given to us by the staff. read more

Started with Johnathan. Great guy. Fantastic customer service skills and really friendly. Then came Maurice. Really Great guy as well. My car was rear ended and the insurance gave me a tight budget to work with. Not only was their estimate the lowest, when the job was done I wasn't asked for a dime over the estimate. As for the work... SUPERB! Better than New. I say that because I have a box in the trunk with 2 - 12" woofers that didn't quite fit in the trunk. To my Surprise, C & L customized my trunk to a Perfect Fit for my box. They didn't even charge me a dime more. Now That's Service. I had damage to my rear bumper on my 2016 Tahoe, due to a flat. When the insurance adjuster quoted it they did not see damage uncovered by C & L Auto Body! Sergio and Maurice went up to bat for me and had them pay the extra damage their adjuster failed to tell me my SUV had. When I received the car back they had buffed out other scratches I didn't tell them about and had no idea would come out!!! What a way to over deliver. I came to this place to get the front bumper on my Lexus repainted due to all the little rock chips that had accumulated over time. Also wanted the dings taken out of my rear quarter panels from all the snot nosed kids in their Tahoes/Suburbans opening their doors onto my car. Sergio speaks highly of what they can do and promises the world. He told me he has a paintless dent repair guy that comes in and will take the dents out. I think he used the word "magician" to describe his level of quality. So I leave my car with him and he gives me a loaner. Cool! Unfortunately, the loaner's rear view mirror had fallen off and I couldn't see behind me. Blinker wasn't working also. So I get a call that my car can be ready around closing time. I said I wouldn't be able to pick it up that day due to work, so take your time, do a good job and I'll pick it up the next day around noon. I call to verify the next day and Sergio tells me to come around 4pm. I come at that time and he tells me it's not ready yet. He waits until it's dark to pull my car up front. I have him park it in front of their one light bulb and I can already see the paint didn't match. I also find a 2.5 inch crease on the right rear quarter panel in place of where the dents were taken out. Sergio was full of excuses now. No longer is he and his shop the best thing since sliced bread. He said it was dark and I shouldn't judge the paint by the light bulb. He said paintless dent repair is not a perfect art. What??? I thought you said the guy was a "magician"? Long story short, I have to talk to the lady who supposedly is the boss and I agree to bring the car back the next day under day light. I do, and Sergio didn't make any kind of argument. He didn't even look at the paint. He just came out to my car with a clipboard to sign my car in. I think he knew all along the paint didn't match and that's why he shuffled his feet and waited until it was dark to bring my car out. So you think I get my car back and they fix the mismatched paint on my bumper and all is well? Heck no! They went and painted my whole hood and front quarter panels to match the paint they put onto my front bumper. Now I have mismatched paint at the point my doors meet the front end. This kind of service is absolutely ridiculous and should not be accepted. I, on the other hand, was so fed up with Sergio and all his BS, I didn't want to ever see him again, and would rather spread the word as to his antics Consider yourself warned. read more

We have been going to C & L since the beginning of time. All of the guys are super helpful and CARE. You don't get that from other places. We guessed that the car would take a little longer to get fully repaired but Maurice and the Crew did what they had to get my daughters car completed. I used this place a few time for small dents/scratches that I paid cash to fix and they were fine. So when I rear ended another car I deceided I would take my car to them. The damage appeared minor. They told me it would take 7-10 days to fix my car and they had it 5 weeks. My rental car coverage ended after 30 days so they gave me a loaner car. The loaner care was embarrassing to drive (and my car is nothing fancy).....then the next day that car would not start and I was late for work. I finally go my car back and everything seemed ok. However 6 months have passsed and the paint job they did is peeling off. Never going back to them again! read more

Went to C&L to get my car fixed after I rear ended someone pretty badly. The bumper was falling off and the hood was a little smooshed. I was hoping it was not going to cost me an arm and a leg since I've never had to complete or pay for this level of repair before, but when I got my car back it was perfect! It was a quick turnaround and I couldn't believe how perfect my car looked!!!!!! It ended up being a lot less money than what other shops had offered me and I was happy as a clam! Thanks again guys! For damage that was not covered by my insurance, they were extremely reasonable. They left the inside of the car completely clean, including a sticky trash bucket they scoured. I did not expect that. I just got my car back after it being in there for 2 months! I had taken my previous car there and didn't Aline the hood right. I never took it back to have it fixed even though they knew it need to get fixed. This time was the worst. The hood wasn't aligned, there were parts hanging under the car, they disconnected the door light and the bumper and fender are not straight or even like the other side that was not damaged. They used cheap parts and made me believe that it was going to look the same as before the accident. Then to top it off they crashed the hood and I had to fight to get them to repair it! The car still looks bad. I don't believe they even repaired the things I pointed out even though Sergio claim they did. All he had was excuses for everything. They just don't do a good job and they got paid in full!!! Then the sister comes out to yell at me about the repairs. She knows nothing about what I was complaining about! I didn't even know who she was. They wanted me to stop complaining because they had a couple of customers in the lobby and didn't want them to hear what my complaint was. I will never go back and I did tell my insurance company about them. I'm also going to file a complaint with the better business bureau about how I was treated. read more
