Great workmanship! I was rear ended at a red light that caused damaged to my bumper cover/valance/diffuser. All these items had to be replaced. I was given an initial estimate from the insurance company. However, once Robbies took off the bumper cover, he saw additional hidden damage (rear impact bar, lower molding, skid plate along with a few other smaller items). Sinclair (one of Robbie's appraiser) immediately notified me of the situation and assured me he will get in contact with the insurance company to work with them so get the additional damages repaired/replaced as well. Sinclair was on point the entire time my car was in the shop (total of 4 days). He kept me updated on the status almost on a daily basis via email communication. Once the work was completed, I inspected the car and it looks brand new. Body gaps are just as good as factory gaps. The paint matched perfectly, and dare I say.....even better quality than factory paint as I noticed some orange peel in some lower panels with the factory paint. Ed was the body guy that worked on my car and he did an awesome job! Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience at Robbie's. I valued the open line of communication I had with Sinclair. He explained exactly what was taking place and gave me a heads up on what I should expect during the repairs. I also run dual dashcams in my car. After I got the car back, I reviewed the dashcam footage when they had the vehicle.The guys are top notch professionals using top end tools (Snap On) along with top end equipment. The old phrase, "we met by accident" applies here. A careless driver (two tickets issued) smacked my bumper doing enough damage that I wanted it fixed and I wanted it done RIGHT. My friend owns Ferraris and raved about the quality of Robbie's work. Good enough for an exotic, it had to be good enough for a Toyota! Man, was I right. We were doing errands on the day the work would be finished and by chance we drove by as they were moving my Toyota from the garage to the parking lot. This review is long overdue. A short while ago I was in Dover for work. After driving my car to NJ, my check engine light came on and I noticed a decrease in power. First thing the next morning I brought my Camaro to the Chevrolet Dealer service center nearby. After diagnosing the issue as a stretched timing chain requiring replacement, they gave me a very expensive quote for the repairs. I called around to a few shops in the area to get a better price, and that's how I met Robbie. I left a message with the receptionist at Robbie's and received a call back from Robbie himself. He told me that the dealer was the right shop to do the work, as they do this more often and if anything goes wrong they can replace the engine under warranty with no problems. He did, however, tell me that the price I was quoted was much higher than he would do it for. He then offered to call the service manager at the dealership and negotiate the price on my behalf, since he has an existing business relationship with them. A few hours later I got a call from the dealer with a much better price. Robbie called back and made sure everything was good. He offered to get me a deal on a rental car, gave me recommendations for good places to eat in the area, and made sure I was all set with my hotel. He then gave me his personal cell phone # and we texted throughout the week with updates and just to check in. Keep in mind, I had never met Robbie, I was in from out of town so I wouldn't be a repeat customer, and my car was not at his shop so he was not getting any money from me for the repairs. Robbie is an upstanding businessman that went out of his way to help a person out that he didn't even know and had nothing to gain. He said that he believes in doing the right thing, and that he runs his business with honesty and integrity. Robbie was incredible. My only regret is that I don't have a repair shop with an owner as amazing as Robbie in my town, and that I don't live nearby so I can't give him more business. Hopefully this review will help anyone looking to understand that you'll be in good hands at Robbie's, and they'll treat you with respect, integrity, and kindness. Working with Robbie will renew your confidence in people and that is a very rare thing to be able to say. While visiting my daughter and grandchildren in New Jersey, the sun roof on my Subaru was accidentally left open after the two year old boy and I had been sitting in the car. Not sure how it happened as I thought I was careful. Then there were two days of downpours and the car was parked where I could not see the roof. I had checked and the windows were up (rolling my eyes). On the third day, I went to my car to find it was seriously soaked. I sopped up all I could and could still feel water under the carpets. Sick to my stomach I called the closest Subaru dealership. They were pretty unhelpful and suggested a detailing but couldn't fit it in for two days. Using Yelp, I called several shops and had numerous superficial fixes recommended from an extraction to a detailing. I knew time was of the essence as the water was sitting under the carpet. I left a message at Robbie's. Robbie personally called me back within an hour and everything he said informed me and rang true. He said he had plenty of work but would get my car in the next morning. He immediately recognized that this was a serious problem and the water needed to be removed and everything dried. Time was important. (Overnight I parked the car in a garage with the windows down and a fan going but that was minor mitigation.) Robbie explained that there are no drains for the water to get out so they would need to remove the seats and remove the carpet to completely dry it out. He has numerous certifications and amazing reviews so I went with my gut instincts and took the car to him. As they progressed, he sent me photos and texts. This was a 2016 Outback and much of the electronics are under the carpet with a foam backing sprayed onto the carpet. When I picked up the car three days later, he tore off some of the foam and you could still wring out water. The moisture would have eventually caused all sorts of electronic and computer issues and many thousands of dollars worth of damage not to mention mold and rust. Robbie kept me informed through texts and photos. On his own initiative, he checked if new Subaru carpet was available as it would save time for reinstallation and it would be thoroughly dry. He says he always thinks about what he would want done if it was his car. There was new Subaru carpet available that he procured and installed. His crew sprayed every electronic connection and piece of metal under the carpet with something that absorbs moisture and did so in time to prevent electronic problems. They must have been very thorough as there have been no problems--zero-- and it has been two weeks. My impression is that nothing unnecessary was done but all that needed to be done to be certain the issue was addressed was done. That gives me peace of mind. When I picked up my car, Robbie gave me a quick tour of his facility and it is immaculate and very professional. He works on all sorts of vehicles and the whole operation is a class act. He is courteous to his employees and they are courteous to each other and to the customer. While the cost was much more than just a detailing, I believe the price was fair for all of the work that was done. I definitely feel like the car was "saved" by Robbie's expedient and competent work on the car. I wish he was located in Virginia as I would return for any future needs in a heartbeat. I know I have left out a lot of the details but all I can say is THANK YOU to Robbie and his crew. Without reservation, I recommend taking your car to Robbie for his advice and work. I had an epic battle with the frame of my garage door, and the garage door won. Not my finest driving day, but these things happen. I ended up with a dent on my right front fender and a lot of white house paint on the side of the fender. Went to Robbie's after scouring the internet and reading the great reviews. When you walk in, it's not your typical bodyshop, it's clean, comfortable and the reception person, super friendly. I filled out a small questionnaire and was paired with Ken, who is a really nice guy as well. He looked at my car, and expressed a slight concern over where the dent was, so he asked a co-worker to take a look. They both agreed the car would be "95% perfect" by using a "paintless dent removal" which meant 95% better than it looked now! They quoted "about $300" and that I would have to leave the car. I used their super-convenient drop off box the night before. Got a call the next day at about noon! I was thrilled they were able to get it done so quickly. The car looked amazing, I could not see where the dent had previously been, it was completely removed! I had been looking at that dent for a week, and now it's completely gone. The best part: The final bill was $300.00 plus tax ($321.00). Hey, you never want to have to go to a bodyshop and thankfully, I've only had to go a few times in my nearly 50 years, but there is no reason to go anywhere else. I couldn't be happier that I chose Robbie's and based on my review and that of hundreds of others, I hope you chose this shop and have the same experience. The claim was transferred to the at-fault driver's insurance, but I'm glad I was put in touch with Robbie's and didn't bring my car elsewhere. Could not be more complimentary of this shop. We moved to NJ from Oregon and I was involved in an accident. I had no idea who to use and the tow truck driver recommended Robbies. They called me the day of the accident after I had just reported the incident to my insurance. I am truly happy with my interactions with them from start to finish. Went for a quote on my damaged vehicle. Once Robbie heard who I was insured by, I was informed that the job would require additional funds out of pocket. He stated some insurance companies don't pay as much as others to cover his "quality of work". The overhead must be quite high which is easy to believe considering the vinyl wrap advertisements on NJ Transit buses I've seen, his private office with wood floors and the plush stuffed animals he gives each customer. The shop sure is state of the art and I'm sure he does great work which he stands behind, but his ego/attitude have me looking elsewhere. read more

So, I bought a beautiful 2013 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. I absolutely loved the car. That being said, 1.5 weeks after getting the car I got into a nasty accident where someone stopped short in front of me and I couldn't stop in time. I was devastated. That being said, I have a solid feeling that the car wouldn't be totaled, so when I began researching where to take my car, I couldn't find an automotive/collision shop that had better reviews than Robbie's. I got in contact with my insurance company, who tried pushing me to go to one of their 'concierge' shops, but the reviews were 3/5 stars and not good enough for me. If I was going to keep the car or use it for a certain period of time, then I wanted the repairs to be done by the BEST. I contacted Robbie's and Robbie was the person to actually answer first. He explained to me the process, made assurances that they would do everything necessary to fix it as best as humanly possible, and that he would personally be by my side through this, since he picked up the phone when I called. I felt really good about taking my car there. I live in central NJ, so Robbie's is about 1 hour away from me, however it was 100% worth it. During the repair process, Robbie's CONSTANTLY stayed in touch with me and gave me updates/status. They even invited me to visit the shop while the car was being repaired, so they could shop me the shop and how my car was coming along. After that they sent me pictures of my car during each step (breakdown, paint, assembly). In my opinion there are 2 big parts to the overall repair process when dealing with a shop. The communication factor and then the actual quality of work. On the communication front, Robbie's was exceptional and great to deal with. They dealt with insurance and kept me out of any tasks or things that I didn't need to be further burdened with. Next part is in terms quality of work... When I went back to get my car it looked AWESOME. The work was done with great attention to detail. Robbie was even helpful in using genuine Volkswagen parts, which was my preference and his recommendation. The gaps and seams of the fenders, hood, bumper were just like new! The paint was pristine and it honestly looked brand new. Keep in mind that these are human beings working on the car, so it's not like when a manufacturer puts the car together in their factory with robots, however Robbie's gets pretty darn close! I am super detail-oriented, so I scanned the car meticulously to find any issues or things I was not 100% happy about. I will be honest and say there were a couple small items that I brought up to Robbie and the team that I wasn't fully satisfied with, however he made sure he drove everything to closure. One example I want to give (because it depicts Robbie's work ethic) was that the AC in my car was not really cold when I test drove the car. This was on a Friday (around 4:45pm) when I brought it up to Robbie and they close at 5pm. Robbie immediately brought the car into the shop and looked for the root cause for 2 hours until they resolved the issue. There was a tiny, hairline crack in the AC fuse which was so hard to see with the blind eye, but they stayed super late on a Friday night, when they could have just asked me to come back another day to look at it, so they could start their weekend. However, they made sure I drove away happy that day! My car looks and drives great. These are the type of professionals you want to deal with and I highly recommend them to you. I had a lot of damage to the car (around $9,000), but they did an absolutely exceptional job and I am so pleased with them with this big job. I dont wish an accident or damage to anyone's car, however dealing with this place of business was a pleasure! Robbie and his team are professional, dedicated, and courteous. I really felt like a part of the family since the first moment I dealt with them and it was fully worth the 1 hour distance to take my car to the BEST I could find. read more

The repair took much longer than it should have considering that my car wasn't too badly damaged. Best Auto Body Repair and Detailing Shop Ever! Very professional staff , great communication and awesome work. Walked in for an estimate on a Saturday and Robbie came out an wrote up the job, took a picture of the damage and sent it to his contact for a parts price. Estimate came back 1 day later on a Monday. Then I waited 6 months or so to get the car repaired without having to do another estimate. Original estimate was still valid. Scheduled work which was estimated to be done in 3 - 4 days. Got a call on Friday to confirm Monday appt. which I never heard of a body job doing. Then on Wed day 3 around noon received a call that the car would be ready for 5 pm pick up. I totally expected the car the car to be ready on at least Friday afternoon. Super fast service, Picking up the car was fast an easy. Got a bottle of water, key chain, grocery bag and a stuffed dog for my daughter. The repair work was stellar! The car looked brand new, Cleaned inside and outside. Had it detailed inside and most of the stains on the fabric seats came out. Highly impressed with the quality of the work, price was reasonable, great customer service and the added touch at the end of the little care package goes a long way. They gave my insurance company a quote that my claims rep said was unreasonable so they wouldn't cover it and i had to have it towed out by AAA. Eager to make a buck off me the shop said that they wouldn't allow me to take my truck until i paid the $75 basically for being in their parking lot.
