Brought my car here for repair after a car accident; although I had a less expensive quote ($150 less) from Terrys Auto Body, I selected Chatham Collision because my gut told me that Julian was a fair and honest person. Unfortunately I was wrong. My van was with him from Monday until Friday and I spent slightly over $3,000 repairing the vehicle only to receive the car with the wheel still aligned. He's off on weekends so when I called him on Monday to let him know, and if I can bring it in for a quick fix because I need the car for the following day (it's a business vehicle). He mentioned his mechanic won't be in until the following day and he can't see it and asked me to drop the car off on Tuesday and he'll try to get to it. I explained to him that I already had been without the van for over a week and can't afford another day with the vehicle off the road. An alignment is $120 so I asked him to refund me $120 and I will just go and get the car aligned immediately at Firestone or Midas. Although he agreed that was a great idea, he refused to even give one cent of a refund on the alignment. $3,000 vs $120. He could have had a customer for life and I would have brought all of my business vehicles here had he done this, but no, he wanted to be a thief. Avoid this place and go somewhere who is going to get the job done properly the first time and will take responsibility for their own shortcomings. read more

DONT GO TO THIS REPAIR SHOP UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR RETURNED WITH A NEW SET OF ISSUES THAT APPARENTLY THEY ARE NOT AT FAULT FOR ! I decided to go with this body shop for bodywork after reading all the wonderful reviews people had left; only to have my car returned and be very disappointed. My car was vandalized and when I took it to the repair shop I spoke to Julian who assured me that the paint match would be close to perfect, as he put it, "its black and you can never tell" wrong ! its very apparent that the doors do not match the rest of the car body color, but it doesn't end there; I also asked for the car to be detailed, and paid a pretty penny for this service; when I picked up the car it looked like it went for a wash and not for a detail, more so, there is a huge chunk of clear coat paint missing on the other side door (not where the work had been done and WAS NOT THERE WHEN I CAME IN WITH THE CAR) When I spoke to the gentleman that I picked up the car from he was quick to blame it on faulty work that had been done prior ( I only had the car a month so I can not speak for previous work) and did not even offer to help come up with a solution, the owner came out and was just as dismissive, if not more. I repeatedly said, I understand this may not be the repair shops fault, it may have been the detailer, but the fact of the matter is that when I dropped this car off it did not have a chunk of clear coat paint missing and when I picked up the car it does. They offered absolutely no help and basically told me that he had been in business over 40 years and if I wanted to fix it, it would be about $1000 because they didn't do it. AND the owner proceeded to (RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME) keep chipping at the clear coat and telling me the whole door was going to eventually chip, but again, not his fault, just faulty previous work. I have never in my entire life paid for a service that was pretty expensive to leave with a new issue that I did not cause and now have to go elsewhere to repair because they wont get another cent out of me. Chatham collision repair has been the worse place I have ever done business with if you like working with lier and annoying people work with Julian this will be the place to have your car repair. I give this place a 0 star however that that one of my choices. read more

Recently I have visited them twice to have one Toyota's front bumper replaced, and my Honda's headlight replaced. They are very professional throughout the entire services. They always provide very accurate estimates, advice, quality services and do everything on time. They even did extra body work when they replaced the headlight. Chatham Collision is the best, extremely professional. Julian was wonderful. He managed the job, and he kept me updated. There was additional logistics. My car is a Subaru, and there was damage to the security system at the rear. The radar had to be replaced and calibrated by a Subaru dealer. Julian kept in touch with the insurance company, the car rental company, and the dealership. The car looks new. I cannot wish for a smoother and better body shop experience. read more

Had an accident with my 2013 Lexus ES350. Was able to drive the vehicle to Chatham Collision. They assessed the damage and came up with a very reasonable figure for repair. Advised the insurance carrier and fully expected approval and repairs to take place. Unfortunately this insurance company had other ideas and refused to consider anything other than total loss. But thats my issue, not Chatham Collision. Chatham Collision were absolutely fantastic in assisting me through the entire process. I have had other scrapes and bruises to vehicles in the past and I can wholly swear that I have never been treated with more respect, more professionalism, more thoroughness than given to me by this firm. Their contact man Sergio, was always ready for my phone calls with words of advice and encouragement in handling the claim properly. He never once pressured me to get the issue settled immediately and instead constantly advised me not to worry about the car being on their premises for a period of time and that he would always be there to assist when possible. The end result was the insurance company would not be moved and declared the vehicle a total loss. To this day, I cannot understand how they consider a total loss of $16500. to be a better conclusion than paying for repairs of $10,000. Hopefully I won't have need for Chatham Collision in the future, BUT I would drive a full day, or more, if necessary to have any repairs done to my vehicles by Chatham Collision. These guys were great. I needed a seasonal tire change and my calipers painted on my 07 Porsche Cayman. Service was performed fast, great quality and reasonably priced. With a foreign car, often people try and nail me on the price but they didn't. Highly recommend. read more
