So I took a chance with C&M body works this week and I have to say it paid off. Last week I contacted Mike and asked for a bare basic quote to just fix the mechanical issues with my wrecked mustang. After getting the quote my wife and I went into the shop to talk to him after showing him pictures of the car he reassured me that he could have it done within a week and gave me an amazing price. By Monday after noon my car was at his shop. Mike kept me updated on the repairs and contacted me immediately with pictures of additional damage that was found. Friday came around and sure enough my car was ready by lunch. His guys did amazing work and even fixed a 13 year old dent that had nothing to do with the repairs just so his repairs looked better. I don't understand the bad reviews about this shop they do great work and everyone was super nice and helpful. I would fully recommend anyone I know go see them. read more

I got an initial "estimate" of $5,000 for body and mechanic repair, after 8 months , owner Mike Garcia gave me an invoice over 10,500 dollars plus, I had paid him $2,500... I had been calling every 2-3 weeks for updates on car .. I was told by one of his other clients , Sargent major Reggie Brown, he would refer to me as the crazy woman .. he never ran by me any part prices .. I got upset from the big discrepancy in price .. subject Miguel Garcia got defensive , rude, he disrespected me and embarrassed Je in front of several people. I was told my car was ready except for the installation of airbags . He wanted cash only , he reduced cost to $7,00 dlls.. I was told to pick up car at the front of the shop. Car had missing back lights , interior dissembled .. but wait .. that's not all.. I started driving .. car would not drive more than 5 miles an hour , engine had no oil.. car stop 3 blocks away from the shop . We called Dante, Miguel Garcia son , initially he said .. bring the car back , few minutes later he said he had to consult with subject Miguel Garcia . I had to call a towing service and decided not to go to that place again. Later Sargent major Reggie Brown, who has known Miguel Garcia fir a long time , told me he saw my car running a couple of days earlier , he stated : "I think Miguel purposefully did something to your car". DO NOT USE THIS SHOP! Miguel overpromised and didn't deliver. I was stationed at Bliss and used this shop in 2016 and changed duty stations in that summer (San Antonio). My car was supposed be a deep gloss black. It was not BUT that was not the problem. Within 2 years the paint faded on the hood, roof, and trunk (I sent him pictures). I called him directly (had to call NUMEROUS TIMES) and he remembered me. I told him that the paint was fading and that I was in San Antonio. I asked him what could be done and he told me to drive it back 8 hours and he would fix it! That wasn't an option. I asked him would he reimburse me (even partially) and he refused! I asked him to pay for half and I would pay the other half and he refused! I told him these are the suggestions that the military lawyer suggested (or file a civil suit) and he threatened to sue me for harassment! He is a crook! Period point blank! I am writing this review because had the never to send me a request to be a referral for his shop! If I could leave my personal information on here I would so anyone can call me and talk with me directly. I arrived (via tow truck) an hour after closing and gate was locked but a worker was just getting into his car to leave and jumped out, call the man with the key to open the gate to park my car inside gated area (recommended). I explained situation regarding car and my circumstances (out of town person) was advised if all that's wrong is the fuel pump then I'll be back on the road by noon. Following morning I called and was advised the car would be ready by 1230 so I took a taxi over there by 1215p (optimistic). I arrived and they are waiting on pump from parts store should be there momentarily. While waiting and as pump arrived a mechanic did some diagnostics and discovered blown fuse. He popped a new one in and I'm back on the road. No charge either - how cool is that!! I appreciate their service and assistance. read more

Told me he got in an argument with some guy,now he can't buy all the parts, and tells me if I want to get the quoted price I need to go buy the part from the guy. More money from my end. My car stays parked in the back for around 2 months. Excuse after excuse, but I had already paid... about 3.5 months it gets finished. Upset because I had to deal with a liar for so long. To top it off, 5 months later, I get a call that I'm delinquent on a credit card. A credit card I didn't have. Turns out, the address was to C&M. Terrible place for a woman to go by herself. I went there once and he did an ok job from what I could tell. I'm in the military so I was out of town and I sent my wife by herself for another repair and he completely robbed her of her money. Parts were falling off and I even pulled some pieces off of the car that were put together with bondo and masking tape!!!! Never replaced any parts and painted over with the cheapest paint that they could find because it started to crack!!!!! Be carful if you dare to step foot in this place!!!!!!! I love this shop. Went there with my race/show car with wind damage and they took care of my car as if it was there own. They did a custom color and I wanted fixed or anything I noticed and needed to be changed they told me to come in and they will take care of it. Amazing shop by far! read more

Took my car in to get the wheels painted and to have paint buffed. When I picked up the car, the wheels were painted the wrong color and the paint had still had not been buffed. I took the car back a few days later for a redo, but when I picked it up, discovered the same unresolved issues. When I asked for a refund, Mike the owner became belligerent and refused to return my payment. A week and a half later, I took my car to get washed and the wheel paint came right off unevenly. As if that was not bad enough, I later noticed that they guy overcharged my credit card by double the amount we agreed upon initially. I'm now in the process for suing for damages. This guy has a criminal background and I would not even recommend to my worst enemy. BEWARE! read more

Took my truck thee for collision repairs and they did a poor job. My paint started to chip off months afterwards and they got upset that I complained about it. Bunch of scams and poor management. Owner threatened to hit me with a metal rod because I kept complaining that did they something wrong to my electrical wiring for my doors and windows. Don't ever take a motorcycle there also...they do not know how to repair motorcycles. They couldn't even put mine together correct. read more

This is a first rate crew. They`re honest, unpretentious, and price things fairly. I think I`ve been taking my cars to C & M Body Works for many years, and there`s no one I would rather take my car to. They`ve kept my old cars running well, including my current BMW. These guys are a rip off they take way too long, do not do a good or at least an ok job. Then they try to charge like a real paint/body place. All the pictures posted are 100% FAKE. The real business looks nothing like the pictures. As mentioned before all the "great reviews" are fraudulent. Will be calling the BBB. read more
