I took my 2016 GMC here to have the transmission checked out and repaired. I received a call several hours later to inform me that they could not repair this transmission due to no parts available and went on to explain the truck s transmission is involved in a class action lawsuit with GM and I might want to take it to the dealer and have them check it out. I had them change the oil and filter and picked the truck up the next day. They refused to charge me for all the time they spent checking that problem out and all the time spent road testing the truck to determine the problem. when I called Wed. night said I could drop my car off, and it would be seen 1st thing in the a.m. Not worked in as he later tried to say he claimed. 2nd, I told him there was an issue with the ac, and instead of explaining the process that would take place at and the price that it would be, at any point before doing said process and getting approval, he just did it which basically makes the customer culpable of paying even if they were not ready to pay in that moment or if they wanted to shop around to see if there could possibly be a better price around. Then, I spoke with the owner to ask if this was their standard practice, and he was just rude. He decided to only prop up his employee instead of treating me as a respectful paying customer. This was one of the best places we have ever taken our car. We were on a road trip from Maine to Atlanta when our car decided to break down on South 85, frantically I called C and R and explained what happened. This was at 2:30pm we were out of his shop by 4:30pm. It was a busy Friday after noon close to closing time and they were able to fit us in and make sure we were safe to be back on the road. I took my Chevy suburban in to have a steering column repaired. After waiting for months, yes months, to have it repaired, I finally could not wait any longer so I asked them to put the car back together so that I could go elsewhere. They returned the vehicle with the parts thrown in the back seats, covered in oil. The seats were ruined and the cost to put it back together was more than I would have paid if I had gone elsewhere to begin with. This place is a disaster. read more

I've never written a review for an auto place on Yelp before but I had such a good experience I felt like I owed it to them after going there for the first time. Clay, Linda and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I went in for my 30,000 service appt and the price that I paid was a bit less than what was quoted over emali which was great. Car is running well and I paid much less than what the dealership estimated. Bonus perk: an adorable brown dachshund sometimes greets you when you walk in. Highly recommended. read more

Had an incredible experience with this place! Was looking for a local auto shop as I had to evacuate North Carolina because of Hurricane Florence. Clay was incredibly friendly and helpful. He worked around my schedule and time crunch of needing to return to North Carolina. I went in thinking my starter or alternator were acting up, but it turns out the key had been reprogrammed to not work for my car. Clay didn't charge me and helped me figure out a way to fix my key problem, as well as showing me the proper things to check before coming in next time. The service here is horrible, they worked on rear end, 3 weeks later it caught on fire they would not stand behind there work. they gave me the run around and would not fix it. it cost me another $1000.00 to fix it. i sent him a lot of customers in the past i would never give another customer again i tell everyone NOT to use his business anymore. read more
