Oh my goodness, where do I start? First, C and V were so kind and down to earth. They answered questions and helped us make some great choices for us and our children. Second, the Food was AMAZING!! Ohh the brisket was so moist!! The chicken didn't disappoint either. All the sides were ON POINT!! We tried them ALL!!! Check them out, you will be back for more!!!

The food here is so good! You get a ton for the price, so it really feels worth it. C&V always gives you more bang for your buck, and the staff is super kind every time I visit. I also highly recommend ordering the baked potato -- it's always PACKED with brisket and BBQ sauce, and it is seriously the BOMB. They also sell banana pudding, and I always have to grab a cup for dessert! I'm usually not even a banana pudding fan, but C&V's is truly delicious. If you're in the area, you've got to stop by!

Set up in the parking lot of Scarlett Barbell off 59S and Roman Forest Blvd. Husband and wife team that are the nicest people who make some killer bbq! The brisket has amazing flavor, perfect amount of bark, and falls apart! Also tried their sausage that was 10/10, banana pudding like grandma used to make, plus brisket Mac and cheese that smacks! Definitely will be back every chance I get!

Where do I begin??? This is the best bbq in Houston. The rib had so much meat on the bone and season just right. The brisket impeccable!!! I loved the nachos and now I want to try the potatoes. I will definitely be back. The customer service was everything. They made me feel right at home.

Vernon comes into the truck stop I work at often and is so friendly. He's always encouraging me to come out and try his food but I'm often at work the hours he is open. Today he was serving food to local flood victims and asked my husband and I to come by. We both got plates with brisket, his homemade sausage, potato salad and beans. It was absolutely delicious! I don't even usually like potato salad and his was so creamy and good. The sausage is extremely good and the brisket was melt in your mouth tender. His bbq sauce is also great! Pretty sure the pickles were homemade too. Just really awesome food and super kind and friendly owners. Can't wait to get by on a day he's open so I can try other stuff and support his business.

The gigantic BBQ baked potato is sooo good!!!

I prefer chicken so I had been wanting to try this place. All were good and I am fairly picky with bbq. I which they had a few different bbq sauces but I won't down them for that as the flavor of the one they had was good. Service was good. You walk up and order. Food was given out quickly. We didn't get to try the ribs as we were told they were out but sounded like they just didnt have the next batch ready. Wish we would have been told that cause we would have waited but not a huge deal. Owner was there, at least I think he was the owner, and he was going around to each table to make sure everything was good. That was appreciated. I always appreciate when the owners are there and personable.

The restaurant was spacious, clean, not too crowded and the wait to order was not long at all. We approached the register to place our order and the young lady at the register wasn't the friendliest. No hello, no smile, just a stare. We wanted ribs but were told they sold out, however we heard another employee saying they had a batch coming off the pit. I also tried to order the pinto beans and she said those were sold out as well. We found a table and waited about 10 mins or so for our food to be delivered do our table. We ordered a chopped chicken sandwich, baked potato, Mac n cheese, baked beans, corn spoon-bread, and brisket. Most of the items were really good and freshly made. Baked beans were just okay, reminded me of pork n beans. The spoonbread had great texture but lacked flavor. Although the cashier wasn't the most pleasant, the manager made up for the lacking customer service. He could be seen walking around the restaurant interacting with customers and asking about their experience. Overall it was a pretty good experience!

A 2-year Michellin star BBQ joint was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I got there around 10am and were lucky enough to grab a number. The number secures your spot in line but don't worry if you show up and they run out, there's a spot on the porch where the non-number line starts. We ordered moist brisket, garlic sausage, and the beef rib. For sides, we went with mac and cheese and beans. Everything was superb! The brisket melted in your mouth, no knife needed. The sausage had a nice snap to it and get great flavor. The bark on the beef rib was *chef's kiss*. The mac and cheese was creamy while the beans had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. The service is also great! While we were eating, staff would regularly check all of the tables to check if anyone needed anything. The staff taking our order also chatted with us about other BBQ spots we've been to. Everything was such a great experience and the quality of the food is 100/10!

I've passed by several times and the line has always deterred me, but this time I came with my game face and the patience of a saint. I arrived on a Friday at 11:03am to be exact. Yep, they open at 11am and yep there was already a line. I was shortly approached by an employee who handed me a paper menu and asked if I would like to purchase a drink while I wait in line. It was fairly hot outside but they had fans along the patio to give relief. The inside of the restaurant is not large but also not small, its first come first serve so get in where you fit in or opt to sit outside. I arrived to the front of the line around 12pm so it took about an hour of waiting in line. Ordering was smooth and it took no time for the food to be ready. Staff were friendly, and service was speedy. I ordered brisket(moist), pulled pork sandwich, mac n cheese, potato salad, beans, apple cobbler, and a baked potato. The potato salad was a pleasant surprise! It is not your traditional potato salad, but If you enjoy anything dill flavored, you'd love it! The brisket was moist and flavorful, melt in your mouth good!!! The other sides were just okay, not bad but nothing stood out. The cobbler was a bit too sweet and it did not seem as though the ingredients were mixed very well. It was like they dumped sugar on top and baked it without mixing it. Pulled pork sandwich was meaty and flavorful. Pretty good BBQ Experience!!!
