I had them tow them to a nearby Chevy dealer, who contacted me in the morning and said that my muffler was hanging on the ground and that some brackets were also up under the car were damaged. My car issue was with the starter and electrical issues it is a keyless entry and had nothing to do with the muffler! The mechanic explained that this commonly happens when a tow driver removes it off the flatbed improperly and the exhaust gets bent. And then the driver tried to hide it by tucking it up underneath until he had left and got the okay for the drop off from the dealerships examination. So they found it out after the fact and now the tow driver and company will not admit fault and is trying to blame it on the dealership who had nothing to do with the muffler. I had an extended warranty and should not have had to pay anything and now I have to go to court over something that I didn't even do and had no knowledge of. I was not able to stay with the car at the time of the towing because I had a ride and they had to go to work that day on a day shift. So I'm not impressed with this company for not owing up to what they did and me having to waste my valuable time going to court for something that I didn't even do and really don't know anything about and I'm just going by the professional mechanics who inform me of what they did. He called me back in a minute and asked for addresses, I gave him the address for my body shop in Farmington Hills and told him that I was at a specific gas station on the corner of two roads. He said it would be about 30-45 minutes. I said okay, thank you so much and we hung up. An hour later they weren't there, so I called. He claimed that he assumed I didn't want the tow because I didn't give him the address to the gas station. Mind you, I told him the name and the corner of the gas station and he didn't ask for an address afterwards, but he gave me a time estimate. At this point, I was incredibly fed up. I just waited an hour in the cold for a tow that never came, and he acted like it was my fault. I told him I would go elsewhere instead and hung up. He called me back and half heartedly apologized, then said he could send someone over in ten minutes. I agreed. Mind you, it took longer than ten minutes, and I kind of feel that because of all this trouble I should have been given a discount. I drove behind the tow truck in someone else's car, and saw the driver run a red light with my car right in front of me.
