They also said needed brakes, calipers rotors all around, they said everything was $ 2200. I let them do the job, they said it would take a week, it took them 3 weeks, then when I was ready to pay the guy tells me $4200. I said the quote was $2200, then he says oh well, I'll give you the discount of $3800, are you serious? I asked for my truck back , now it's $2200. I paid, they said they would be finished up that evening, I asked could they bring to my house, no problem, tow truck comes but my truck in yard, don't knock on door or nothing, just so happen I saw him, I'm like where's the keys, in the truck, this man in such a rush. I say where's the hub caps to the wheels, he look he say on front seat, so you can't put everything back like it was. I drove it it seem fine, brakes work, but they emptied the gas didn't even replace it, I mean zero drop, I don't think I could go to the gas station, I had to call AAA. This place sucks and a rip off! Don't go here ever! Don't even get gas there!

The damage wasn't 9k worth on the car. The wheel driver side was just messed up and I couldn't drive it. The next day my insurance calls and says that he invoiced them for 10k and they had total out my vehicle. Do not trust this man. I will be filing a police report. Also, the address that he gave was to a vacant house. I've learned my lesson and ask everyone to heed this review. Zero Stars!

No such luck, when the engine died just outside Windsor, we were able to glide off the 401 to a field. This is 9 pm Saturday night of a long weekend. We lucked out and called First Response Towing. The phone was answered quickly for a long weekend. Gabriel was kind and very helpful. He was able to send a flatbed out to retrieve the car that night, store it in his facility overnight, then pick us 2 up in the morning so we could get ourselves and the car to London the next day. Everything he said was going to happen , did so. The car was safe and properly loaded and secured. The driver was courteous and knowledgeable, picked us up in the morning in Windsor and delivered us and the car to London easily the next day. It was a relief to have it all done professionally, and reasonably priced considering the current extremes in fuel prices, long weekend after 9, and taking us to London. Whenever a cocky business owner makes it seem they're doing you a favor and that you're bothering…read morethem for business - run away. Such entitlement can never end in a good way. I made the horrible mistake of entrusting this body shop with a luxury vehicle - big mistake. Sure you should expect to get your car back looking newly restored but you'd also expect to get your car back in working order right? . . . you don't expect a seized passenger door that can't be opened or extra body chips in places where the car wasn't damaged. Results like this make one wonder how people stay in business. Results I received cost me more than the original insurance repair claim. Did I give Dotten the opportunity to make things right? Absolutely - and as a matter of fact that's what the business owner promised "leave it with me and I promise to fix it and make things right". But after a week of leaving the vehicle with them, they realized what it would actually take or cost to correct the botched job. The owner's best excuse was the door broke because it was old . . . really!? coincidentally exactly while just at your place for body shop repairs after all these years . . . amazing! This is the kind of professionalism and integrity that you can expect at Dotten collision. Dotten couldn't fix, would not correct or pay to remedy the problem so the promises and warrantees you'll get are worthless. Avoid the grief and legal action. There are so many more reliable and professional choices like Service King who undid Dotten's damage. That's my experience with Dotten's wretched service experience.

They asked for a $35 storage fee which I paid they preceded to call my wife and asking for more money for their time stating "they had lost business" because they picked up my car and drive it to their shop. Their shop is less than a quarter mile from my house which is on the same street as their business. The initial conversation was good but seemed a bit rushed. They also cast negative aspersions on the collison shop I decided to go with. Very unprofessional! I would not recommend going to this shop.
