I went to C bar on Halloween night, probably one of their busiest nights, but it honestly didn't feel overwhelming at all. Normally, nights like that would be super chaotic and hectic, but they somehow kept everything smooth, and the vibe in there was amazing, it was the kind of place you actually would WANT to be! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and even the owner came around to say hi, which made the whole night feel personal and fun. Went out for a birthday party. We got two tables and two liquors. It was over $500 but we had a large group. It was worth it. Parking was not so easy to find but we got lucky. I would recommend going early because it was pretty empty around 10:30pm on a Saturday night. The food was okay. The shrimp lo mein had a chef boyardee consistency. Fries were decent. There was a belly dancer around 12:45am. She balanced a plate of lit candles on her head. It was amusing. The place got packed by 2am. Went here recently and will share a bit about my Experience. They have bouncers in the front and check for knives and pepper spray which is good. It is very hard to find parking right in front of the lounge. There was plenty of parking underneath the train elevator which was about 5 min walk however the road is being worked on and it's a very sketchy area. If you're female I recommend coming with a guy or a group or taking cab here. The bartender was friendly. It's extremely crowded even though the space was small. The music is loud like a club so don't expect to be able to talk to anyone in here. I order some tacos and it took an hour for it to arrive major downside. The drink was ok. The belly dance performance was excellent. There were female entertainers in thongs dancing on the bar and I saw one grinding on a guy. I've given this place 3 visits and that's all it's getting from me. When I've requested a reservation for the lounge seating area, they say that it's first come basis at the lounge itself. Yet, when you arrive to the lounge, they say RSVP is needed ahead of time. The policies contradict each other and this happened on 2 visits. On the last visit, their hookah base leaked water and made a mess and they charged my group for it. Perhaps not supplying the customers with broken hookah devices would be a better approach. It was the only time I went just for hookah with no alcohol involved and their attitude changes a lot when you're not profiting their bar. Overall, I'd make the drive out to northern queens for the wider availability of hookah bars. Went on a Monday from 8-12pm and it stayed pretty empty for most of the night which I didn't mind at all. Service was good! Drinks were good. My friend randomly researched after work happy hour spots on Yelp and asked that I join her and a friend on Friday evening. We headed over to Lefferts Blvd and found parking on the side streets around the busy intersection of Jamaica Ave and Lefferts. As we stepped in the ambiance was very posh and sensual. A lot of deep eggplant purple, black and gold. Vintage paintings, chandeliers, floral arrangements, buddhas. Loved it. Every woman's dream. When the lights go out it looks even more beautiful. Lisa greeted us and gave us cute laminated purple menus for appetizers and cocktails. Those of you who know me, know I love a creatively themed cocktail menu. From the very start Lisa was aiming to please never once leaving us unattended or requesting assistance. I ordered a passionfruit Margarita which was very good and the presentation was perfect. I followed up my order with a rum punch that gave me a left hook straight into tipsyville. Very good cocktails Lisa. My girlfriends drooled over the appetizers and decided on Pepper Shrimp, fries and Jerk Wings. This area is Little Guyana and Little Trinidad. The decor is gorgeous, the hookah was strong, the food was absolutely delicious and drinks were beyond great! (Especially that Henny passion my waitress recommended). The staff was friendly and attentive. Our waitress was with us from 9- 2am and never missed a beat. She made sure my guest and friends were always taken care of. What a lovely vision the owner Charlie had and made happen. The decor and ambiance is like if you were hanging out in the bottle of a genie. We came on a Monday eve, they had nice music playing and I was told that Friday-Saturday they have a little entertainment. Aldreena the main bartender and waitstaff was absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. She gave us great suggestions on drinks and appetizers choices. Their homemade Sangria was amazing, perfectly blended, if you like it strong add another shot of rum. Chef Vishnu made our appetizers we ordered. We had shrimp tacos, which were perfectly seasoned, delish from the first bite. We also ordered their chicken potstickers, at Aldreena's suggestion, glad we did, it was soo tasty, they were lightly fried and the dipping sauce great accompaniment! You almost have the feel of being somewhere else in a neighborhood where at most spots you go it's the same crowd, not that that's bad but this place give you that sense of being different and having a good time without having to compromise. They also had hookah, however they only had one person responsible for hookah, (everyone else was busy) and he took forever to tend to us. This is my only complaint.
