We really enjoyed the outdoor seating set up here directly outside the entrance to the restaurant in some parking spots. There's an overhead tent which kept us protected from a rainstorm plus two very large heaters. Seating is at picnic tables that are well spaced between parties. Our waitress was fabulous! Super upbeat, friendly and forthright in her recommendations. We enjoyed several beers as well as a delicious Thanksgiving themed sandwich and some nachos. The Thanksgiving sandwich with cranberry aioli was superb. I'd go back just for this sandwich in the outdoor seating. The nachos we found to be subpar with chips that seemed kind of stale, but oh well, everything else was great. We will definitely be returning here. Excellent spot for outdoor dining! read more

First, the bar stools were very uncomfortable! Second, I have never eaten in a place so LOUD...I mean so loud, I couldn't carry on a conversation with the person I was with. The food was just okay. On a positive note, our bartender was a ray of sunshine... beautiful smile!! Don't know her name but she had black hair!! Burnt Fish and Chip! I was a return customer, I had it once before and it was good.This why 2 stars instead of 1. I ordered ahead for takeout, and was so upset they actually gave this to me. It gave the burnt smell, I'm so glad I opened it in the car. Then the hostess gave so much attitude as if I was wrong for asking for my money back. At first I was told they couldn't give me my money, but I asked to escalate. The Manager came to the front, with zero apology returned the money to my card, and turned back to go to the kitchen. No regards to my wasted time, and the fact that I still needed dinner! So sad. I would've given another chance if I weren't treated so carelessly. Needless to say, I won't be returning. Ended up at Runner's Pizza in Stoughton, they were so nice and food was great! read more

The fried pickles are not what you would imagine, but if you really like pickles and not just the breading, I highly recommend them. C.F. McCarthy's is the greatest bar in Canton for multiple reasons. First off as soon as you walk in the door you're greeted with in very friendly manner from everyone from the dishwasher all the way to the managers who are always walking around and talking with customers. Secondly no matter what you order off the menu you know it's going to be great. Even late night when they switch to limited menu items. Lastly the atmosphere is super cozy and you never know who you are going to meet. Highly recommend weather you're going out to dinner or stopping in for a late night beer. read more

Their drinks..omg their drinks I wish I still had pictures. This place is for sure a gem. They do everything from breakfast to dinner. Went for lunch had a short rib melt and hand cut homemade fresh fries, because I told trust everyone with drinks I have a snake bite. They did not disappoint! Love it so much had to take my cousin there for breakfast. There coffee drink "French toast coffee" was so damn pretty I didn't want to drink it. Came with a churro...literally the best thing ever. Have been there probably 100 times. Moved to Canton in 2019 and probably go there at least once a week. The Bartender Erin is excellent, recently under new management and they seem to have upped their game, always good quality all around. Fun, Irish bar, friendly, locals go there, everybody knows everybody. Excellent food, just a fun place to go. very good draft beer collection, from regional breweries along with a great selection of whiskeys. Late night menu until I think around 1130. read more

Two thumbs up! They have all of the Covid precautions and we felt safe. The decor is hip and fun and they played great music which it turns out is from a digital jukebox that customers can choose the songs. There's lots of TVs so you can watch games- whatever is showing these days! Had a great Pinot Noir from Oregon and we saw the server go by with some cool cocktails. I made reservations at 11:30am for 2, we got seated on time, waitress was friendly, brought the food in reasonable time, we were able to finish brunch but just barely, they asked if we were ready for the check and let us know they had another reservation for our table at 12:15p, I didn't get to finish my coffee, felt rushed and uneasy. Not a very effective system to reserve the same table for numerous customers and asking them to leave the table in less than 60 minutes. Ive been to this pub numerous times but I was very disappointed today and most likely won't return, bad service. read more

Stopped by for lunch as I'm working down the street ordered the caprese pizza and to my surprise there was no pizza sauce, and the mozzarella cheese and tomatoes were cold. I was asked how was my pizza by someone eating next to me and gave my opinion it wasn't that great because of that. The bartender interrupted and said that's how we make it feel free to go to another place...I was shocked and felt very disrespected. I wasn't even going to bring it up at all until that happened. Paid my bill and left. Plus if you're going to cook a pizza that way please disclose that. I've eaten "caprese" style pizza all over and never had it made that way. I had wings that were super crispy like I prefer but they could have been seasoned more and more sauce. The poutine with chicharones I think with no cheese curds yiu shouldn't call it poutine. I have been to Canada many times and still have not been able to get the same here in the US. The mojito was strong but didn't have the refreshing taste. Way better than expected! We were on our way back to Connecticut from Boston Airport and this place came up as recommended when looking for dinner. It was Sunday, they had live music (great talent). We got Buffalo Cauliflower & tuna tacos to split then an order of chicken fingers and fries for my daughter. Everything was delicious and well prepared. Hats off to the chefs!!! The Buffalo cauliflower was big pieces, cooked perfectly, didn't fall apart and super flavorful. The tuna tacos were very fresh! & you would never expect someone to brag about the kids meal option but wow. The chicken tenders were definitely made fresh in house. The breading had super good flavor and the chicken was moist and delicious. Honestly I would order this for my own meal. The fries were fresh cut, crunchy & perfectly salted.
