I consider myself a French onion soup snob and this was probably the best french onion I've ever had. Nice pub and great service.

We have been to this place a couple of times. The first time was cause my wife's parents were staying at the hotel next to it so it was a convenient place to eat at. The second time was years later cause restaurants around us ey5e packed and according to maps it looked like this place wouldn't be packed and my wife wanted us to go there again thinking it should be ready to find a seat. Well it was busy, but we were seated right away and it had room for a few more groups. As always my first criteria for an restaurants is if they bring you water when you sit. Call me picky but I have worked lots of places at a waiter and everywhere I worked the quality of every restaurant was in the details.. well here they didn't. However the waitress did remember that I asked for no ice which a lot of servers forget. It's loud like a sports bar but you can still talk at your table. The food is good and the portions huge. No one in our group could finish their meal. Plenty of parking as it's next to a hotel. A good place for a beer or a bite and the menu has a huge selection. read more

The restaurant was attached to our hotel, making to-go very convenient for us to eat in our room. The Avocado BLT on Texas toast was absolutely amazing! Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and crispy bacon was great between the Texas toast. The garlic aioli it comes with also kicks it up a notch!!! Soooooo good. Chicken wings were okay. They were a bit dry and could've used more flavor. Service from the staff was great. Ordered online and went downstairs to pick it up; convenient and quick. Ambiance is a cool pub style. I had a pretty disappointing experience here recently. A few months ago, I visited with a group where there was a minor situation involving someone I was with. It didn't escalate, and we left without any major issues. On March 21, 2026, I came back with a completely different group expecting a fresh start. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. As soon as I arrived, the bartender, Tiff (or Tiffany), was giving me unfriendly looks while I was simply waiting to order. She then made a snarky comment about the previous situation involving someone else, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. What made it worse was how confrontational and aggressive her tone was from the start. I hadn't done anything wrong during this visit, yet I was made to feel unwelcome and even threatened with being kicked out. It created a very uncomfortable atmosphere and left a bad impression. I understand staff need to maintain order, but this felt unfair. I hope management addresses situations like this and treats customers based on their current behavior. read more

The salmon is always a great choice. The staff are always very attentive and welcoming, especially Manager Brianna and Bartender Brighid. The atmosphere is friendly and superior to that of other pubs in Norwood and surrounding towns. My wife and I can't wait to return! read more

Ordered Buffalo tenders, which was room temperature, not hot. Ordered hamburger medium, came well done, went back in to return food, took them 10 minutes to tell me you'll get refund in 3 days. We like the Norwood location smaller yet good food we really like the brunch. Only downer asked for a bloody mary and it was so spicy we couldnt drink it. Four of us at Mick Morgan's for a late lunch. Standing at the entrance, no one there. Finally a server tells us she will seat us soon. Came to the table, got menus. It seemed like every time we wanted to order something, she was not to be found. Hardly anyone in the place. I ordered a corn beef slider plate. Others got salads and a burger. Umm, Mick Morgan's so American, as "Irish" pubs go. It is as if a Cracker Barrel was transplanted to the Emerald Ilse. Yeah for Smithwick's Ale, Stella, Mangers and Guiness, because you're the only imports on tap or in bottles. Very American menu and unsurprisingly inexperienced, disinterested service. If not for its convenient location and proximity to (same building as) a Hampton Inn, it would never be a destination on its own. read more

I drove by and noted this Irish Pub and I was a little doubtful reading the reviews...but I had a craving for fish & chips, so I gave them a shot. I walked in and the service was immediately very courteous. My fish & chips was delicious (don't forget to ask for the malt vinegar) and the portions were great. This is my 2nd bad review...I called 2 weeks ago and said I got an order of chicken tenders $17.99 an order...well the chicken tenders were not fresh and seemed to be sitting there and what they do is give you mostly old chicken tenders with 1 or 2 fresh ones on top...so this happened several times...so I called the 3rd time to complain..and they said they would give me a refund...so next day I get a call from NEIL to call him abt the refund...so forgot to call Neil until today...I HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN TOO SO POORLY...I MEAN REAL ***HOLE. I was interested when I saw that Mick Morgan's replaced Emmet's at the Hampton Inn restaurant space on Route 1 in Norwood. This specific building has gone through a number of changes over the past years, nothing ever really good ever coming in, then again, what can you really ever expect... seems all restaurants that are attached to a hotel attract the worst tenants. Regardless, I have always liked Mick Morgan's when I used to visit their old restaurant in Newton. There is another one up the road in Sharon, but I was always turned off by that one with dozens of huge potholes and the Econo Lodge being right there too. Anyway, this Mick Morgan's is spic and span. Great service, food was great, and the cleanliness and interior were spectacular. Nice decor, friendly ambiance, and we were one of maybe five parties inside. I typically order a cheeseburger, and it was very filling and flavorful. I was very satisfied. The menu doesn't consist of a whole lot, it's quite condensed in comparison to many other restaurants of this type. Nevertheless, I would totally come back and would highly suggest this restaurant to others. Hopefully, this place sticks around Norwood for a little while. 4 stars. read more

Best Buffalo chicken wrap around. The tater tots, French fries, and boneless Buffalo and boneless sweet Thai chili wings are the best. The Irish nachos are a game changer. Food is consistent with the other location. This is a different crowd in Norwood. Mostly locals, people staying at the hotel, or golfers coming off of Norwood Country Club. Service is always great especially at the bar. I highly recommend going here. It's our go to after golf. read more

I read some of the reviews and have to agree with a lot of the negatives. But our food was so delish. We had a nice bowl of New England clam chowder. It was hearty, perfect temp--just missing crackers. We had bread plates but didn't get any bread, which would've been nice to go with it, but may be normal. We got the seafood casserole, which is something I would never order, but being so close to the ocean, I figured now's a good time to get seafood. It was very good, with shrimp, scallops and haddock (I believe), over pilaf-ish rice. It was a large portion; warm, well balanced, had differences in texture and was very filling. There was one shrimp with the tail still on, but was deveined, so not egregious. The waitress was pleasant. She brought us extra silverware without asking and got a bigger tip by actually paying attention to the, "No lemon," part of my water order. Big deal, for me! The decor is very kitsch, which I love because of all the interesting things on signs and bottles. I would eat there again. read more

This is the second time my group has eaten at at this establishment.The head manger Brie is horrendous. She is rude and nasty. How she works in service is beyond me. It is a struggle to order drinks and food. Give yourself at least 2-3 hours to order and eat. Its the sheer rudeness of the staff that ruins this place. At one point we were discussing our past experience that was poor and another waitress started to defend what was going on. There is no reason to be rude to customers especially when we are ready to spend and are going to be eating there multiple times. It's too bad that this restaurant has to be associated with the fine hotel next door. We walked in at 9:30 to order a nightcap to bring to our room. No bartender anywhere. Finally at 9:40 a very rude, disgruntled looking bartender comes out from the back and says " Sorry, we close at 10:00. That's fine, as it was only 9:40 and we were taking it to our room? She wanted no part of taking the 60 seconds to pouring our drinks and the 2 minutes to settle our tab. Beyond slow! Almost 1 hour from the time I sat down til I got my salad, then over 45 minutes to get my check. One of the servers actually seem annoyed that I requested my bill.
