I've been going to CR chicks since 2008, started at the one in Wellington and now I've moved over here toward this location. The smokey has always been my favorite and now they make the sauce so watery, it sinks to the bottom and all the pasta is dry. If you ask for extra sauce, it's an upcharge. When I used to order this meal, it was loaded and I never asked for extra anything. Now, you ask for extra everything just to make the meal taste normal. For 18 bucks after all the up charges, it's not worth it anymore. Sauce and pasta do not justify the inflation. read more

Disappointed. I've been going here for over 15 years. The last two times i ordered the pot pie it was bad. First one was full of black pepper (like the top fell off the container and all the pepper went in ). This time it was gloppy and gelatinous. Yuck. I understand we didn't like it watery, but this was too much cream! Gross. I wont be trying again and this was my go to dish there. They are way over priced. Smokey is good, but they don't put enough sauce. They now charge over $17 it used to be a lot less. If you ask for xtra sauce they charge over $3. As I can appreciate and understand what business owners need to do with regards to inflation but we used to pay $11 for the same thing not too long ago. This is not a full service restaurant, so I feel the price doesn't justify the cost and service. The upside is the food is good. read more

I was expecting more when I arrived. It's a very take out kind of place. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful; that was impressive. There are some tables of 2 and 4 to sit at. They will bring your food to your table once you order at the counter. There are a ton of birds roasting at the front of the store when you walk in. The place was very busy, which was nice to see. It was mostly pick-up, with half trays of food going out, and this was at 2:00. My table had the Chicken Pot Pie, Salad w/Grilled Chicken, Chicken sandwich. We all agreed, the chicken in our dishes needed more seasoning. Salt & Pepper seemed to do the trick. The salad was crunchy and had all the needed ingredients, including big, tasty croutons! The Pot Pie was Huge! Filled with chunks of chicken, including breast and thighs, along with chunks of carrots, skin on potatoes, and (oddly) green peppers. The pie casing was not a crusty, flaky topping that I loved to mix into the gravy (thank you Banquet), but the kind they had was alright. Probably homemade even and hit with an egg wash to make it glazed brown. Little shy on flavor, but edible/enjoyable. The sandwich was a good amount of chicken on nice crunchy hero bread. L & T, plus additional seasoning needed. It wasn't unpleasant, but didn't quite punch all of the ticket allotments needed for me to rave about. I would probably search out some other spot, next time. I prefer to go to independent shops instead of chain restaurants, so it wasn't like I was expecting a Duffy's, but I was expecting more than what was offered. read more

This location is hiring 15 year olds that have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Grey or May a young girl with super black hair. Barely wanted to give her name to us. She answers the phone like she hates her job. While we were inside she showed she has no ethical concerns about this business. She looked over at a current "maybe manager?" He did not make eye contact with us. He shrugs his shoulders and now she looks so upset. Whoever owns this franchise needs to fix the leadership asap. PGA & Wellington do not have these issues. What is the franchise owner and managers doing to this location? Leadership is everything. I have watched this location go from the number one franchise in 07 during a recession to the worst franchise out of all CR chicks. Managers be leaders! Set these kids up for success and proper coaching. I am a restaurant manager for a corporate location. My job is to set my team up for success. Follow steps of service. SMILE & GREET patrons. A long time staple here in the community. C.R. Chicks has been around for as long as I've known. My favorite dishes would have to be the Chicken Caesar Salad and the Smoked Chicken with Penne Pasta also known as the "Smokey." The portion sizes are more than enough and I can always eat off my meal twice. My least favorite dish being their grilled chicken served as is. The meat is always cooked to perfection on the rotisserie, however, the seasoning of the meat is little to none, and not appetizing in the least. I will never order another lunch from this location again. I just ordered a garden chicken salad for lunch and when I opened the to go box I was shocked. There was hardly any lettuce and what I did get was soggy. I have ordered the salad and other locations and usually the chicken has been removed from the bone keeping the lettuce crispy. At this location my lunch had soggy lettuce the chicken was still on the bone two tomatoes which were soggy as well and 4 olives. To make matters worse I had to pay to get balsamic vinaigrette. Giving CR Chicks a bad review is a first for me since my experiences at the Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter location have always been positive. Very disappointed! read more

I walked in for lunch to go on a weekday and it was shortly before noon, not too busy but clearly picking up as the minutes tick by. I ordered the chicken thighs with cucumber and mashed potatoes! The chicken was super moist and so flavorful. You know how sometimes after eating chicken you feel weighed down and just not here for the rest of the afternoon activities??
