I went to try out Habit Burger a couple weeks ago. The employees were super cool and explained the most popular items. I chose a patty melt, a temporary menu item, a side of 1/2&1/2 fries & onion rings and a fountain drink. They have a few punch type drinks that were all yummy and sweet. My food came out freshly prepared and piping hot! The fries and rings were really good. Rings are actual rings of onion not the chopped up stuff, fried to crispy outside and soft in the middle, perfect. The patty melt was also delicious. Had to bring half of it home though because I couldn't finish it all without hurting myself, it was a lot of food. The dining area is well lit, clean and comfortable. The ladies room was clean too. I really love this location. It's usually clean and service is good but im disappointed that they have resorted to charging $1.00 for an extra caesar dressing? Since when and why? WOW, my wife ordered the food online and provided me the confirmation email. I walked in and provide the expediter my confirmation number, after she was rudely dismissing a guest with questions on differentiating the burgers in his to-go order. I provide her my confirmation number, she asked for the name, I provide her my wife's name. She said that order is not ready, I said we received a confirmation text (in the image) her response "You ain't get no text from me, your food is not ready yet you have to wait." She then turns around back working rather than trying to figure out the situation. I start talking to the cashier about online order process and then the manager turns around again rudely saying the food isn't ready. I then go outside to tell my wife the food is not ready and I asked to see the text. I go inside and show the text message (in the image) to the manager. I asked again is there an order # 1030. She then looks at a bag on the counter in front of her, which was there when I originally came in and says my name. I look at her and say is the confirmation # 1030 on the bag?? She doesn't answer, rather than saying "We do not use the confirmation numbers" from the online orders she ignores me. I ask for her name and she reply's "Karen" and turns around again. I told her that's my food she grabs it, and TOSS it on the counter in front of me with aggression and say didn't you hear me say your name 4x. I'm now shocked and reply I was not in the restaurant when you called my name, I came in after receiving the text confirmation. She was doing the absolute most, with a horrible attitude!! I can only imagine how she treats the employees. The habit is good but not worth dealing with Karen's attitude. I wasn't going to argue with a lady raising her voice at me over a burger. The opportunities for The Habit, adjust your online orders to match on the receiver so the expediter can easily provide orders. If you own a business in America (especially one in the service industry), you should probably have at least one English speaking employee. I went in with my family on a Sunday, used the kiosk to order, waited 20 minutes before requesting a refund. In that 20 minutes, I watched 3 non-English speaking women run around without a clue. These women were yelling order numbers in Spanish and wondering why no one was coming to pick them up. They were walking around the restaurant with fresh burgers in their bare hands and handing them to people after messing up the order. So I wrote in the 'special request' box "pretzel bun please". When I went to place the order it seemed that my note wasn't in there, so I tipped extra to make up for the pretzel up charge and called the restaurant to let them know what I wanted. Was so hard to get in contact with a human, and once I did he may as well been a robot. Did not help me at all, said he couldn't change an order after it's been payed for and that I couldn't have the pretzel because it was 2$ extra. I told him I'd be happy to pay the two extra dollars over the phone and he said he couldn't do that. After all that I figured I'd just be fine with the regular buns, but after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, still no food. I finally called Yelp and they said the order had been delivered already...it hadn't, I've been home all night. The woman was very nice but couldn't do anything other than give me a refund or resend the order with a 50 minute wait time. I went for the refund. In a world dominated by so many fast casual burger chains, I didn't really know what to expect here. At first, I questioned the name - The Habit? What Habit? This confusion did not last long as I took my first bite into the double char burger. I was hooked! Habit? I get it now. The burger was delicious, tasted fresh, and above all was consistent. Gone are the days of getting a bite of bun and no meat, or meat and no condiments. This is a well built burger. We tried the crispy greenbeans and they were amazing. Crunch and the greenbeans themselves weren't complete mush, allowing for a consistent bite each time. The spicy sriracha sauce was also a bit. I also got the sweet potato fries, which would have been great if paired with a nice dipping sauce. I felt they were dry. I walked in and was helped immediately. I ordered the Santa Barbara. It's composed of double char, cheese, AVOCADO, tomatoes, and lettuce. It's served on the softest sourdough bread ever. The flavor was insane without being too oily or overly filling. I was happy with my burger and I'll be back again for the other menu items. The reason it got a 4/5 for me is just that instead of a double burger, it seemed to be 1.5 patties, and the avo was a little sparse.
