I came to this salon by the referral of a mutual mommy friend. I spent literally the ENTIRE DAY with Blanca! With hair like mine, I've spent MANY MANY hours in a chair getting my hair done. I'd like to say because of this, I know good artists when I see one. Blanca (and the staff) is meticulous, patient, kind, vibrant, and DETERMINED to do a great job. She faced a color correction and mounds of hair with me, and she never gave up until the job was done and perfect. She's a mom of a toddler, so she knows how difficult it can be to get hair done while also being a mom. She welcomed my daughter into my lap while she dried and styled my hair at the end of the night I can finally say I've found my new hairstylist in Vegas!! Also about this salon... The owner, Charles, was the most welcoming host I've experienced at a salon. Even though he was the owner, he was not above offering me refreshments, chatting, and even shooting the sh*& over music industry. I watched his work with his clients and he is highly skilled in his craft. The salon itself was spotless with a beautiful decor theme. The wash bows were comfortable, with that added touch of a warmed towel for your neck (never experienced this before!). I also loved their focus on social media/before and after photos. I walk in here without expecting anything special. I really really needed a haircut. Lauren was available. She is very friendly and knowledgeable, I liked her right away! Lauren gave me the best haircut I had in a long time and if I was just rating her I would give her 6 stars if possible, I am extremely happy! However I will not return to the salon because the lady who collected the payment is very slow and inefficient, she had to charge me for the hair cut and the tip separately and they charge you a 5% service fee on top of each transaction... whatever bs that is! read more

I felt so welcomed to Charles Azzi Salon by the fabulous, Jeanine! My appointment was at 10:00 and she was attentive and offered me water until Charles arrived around 10:10. As I received a highlight & cut consultation Jeanine listened in and Charles explained she was under his tutelage and would be assisting him. He understood quickly what I wanted and asked if I had 5 hours. Charles had Jeanine helping/doing my hair 50% of the time while he stopped by to consult periodically. While assisting Charles with my hair & mixing lightener to Charles' specifications, Jeanine was also getting beverages for customers, answering the phone, setting up appointments, checking out customers, or attending to the guest hair designers in the studio. She even stayed 3 hours late to help with my hair and do an eyebrow threading drop-in appt. while Charles squeezed in additional clients. Jeanine was such a sweet conscientious stylist and carefully combed out the highlight backcombing before adding the toner. I did my best to be patient while they were so busy, and my hair turned out beautifully!!! So why 4 Stars? The final price. Once Charles and Jeanine started adding foils, Charles told me he was doing a balayage technique on my hair. I asked what he would be charging. He said usually the cost was anywhere from $300-$600. I acknowledged he was a higher priced salon, and I told him the highest I ever paid was $150 for a full head balayage highlight and that was at an organic salon in Pasadena, CA. Since he said my hair was healthy and no base color would be used I trusted his "it shouldn't be too bad." Never did I imagine the retail price would be $700 and then Charles would give me a $250 discount for the final price of $450. I told him I would never be able to afford a return trip. Then when I attempted to use my groupon (I paid $29 for $69 in service) he refused and said it was only good for a cut and my cut was part of my highlight. The coupon says "$29 for $69 in salon services" so I am not sure why I couldn't use it. In conclusion, I enjoyed working with Charles and Jeanine, as it was a very relaxed atmosphere and the entire salon staff was so kind. However, I felt like I was very patient during their busy day and accepted Charles lovely assistants, Jeanine & Natalie, completing half of my treatment, which altogether prolonged my services because of all their other duties. I had healthy hair which was highlighted professionally previously, and nothing unusual other than 3 inches cutoff before we started, and a blow dry and style before I left. It was 9 long hours, so my advice: know what you are paying and how much time it will take. No response from the owner. read more

Update: While my first two colors were good, the last time I went my hair was way too dark. I did not express that I was not happy but it was mixed by Natalie instead of Charles or Bianca. I am not sure I will be back as I used to do their monthly subscription ans in November AND December I was charged 2x instead of once and if you do not regularly check your credit cards I would be wary of that. They told me that I am the only one this happened to but it did not happen once but twice. Also, my daughter was told her color correction which was 100's and 100's of dollars should last about a year (per Charles if she took care of her and used the products he said which we did buy and they were a lot (Devines) and her color lasted just over 5 months. I'm a guy with medium-long hair who's been trying to find out who and what can make that hollywood-leading-man-looks-good-all-the-time type of haircut. Is that a product of a truly excellent hairdresser, or is that just reserved to men with model good looks and hair genes to match? I visited Charles on a referral. There's a difference between someone who gained a certification and works as a hairdresser as a job, and someone who actually has a passion-driven expertise. It's the difference between sitting down and being asked "what haircut do you want?" and being asked "what type of look are you going for?" I'm not a barber, I'm not versed in the nuance and science of a great and functional haircut, about face shapes and hair types, the texture and behavior that different techniques create. Impressively, I got exactly what I was looking for. I was able to just loosely describe the look I wished I could have, answer a couple thoughtful questions, take a couple pictures, and let the expert operate. No matter how I wash it, how I wear it, what I do with it, I walked out with a sharp and natural haircut that is low maintenance, looks great, and only gets better as it grows out. Dudes, if you've spent a lot of time always getting haircuts you figured were "good enough" but not ones you enjoyed every time you catch it in a reflection all day: stop searching, call this salon. Bonus points for being a new, small, one location, locally owned business where the owner is actually on site and hands on. You'd be wise to get in here while appointments are still fairly available, because this shop is going to be very exclusive with a waitlist a month long before the end of the year, mark my words. read more

I'm so happy to have found Charles Azzi Salon. Charles took time to find out what I liked, didn't like and ultimately wanted in my haircut / color. He definitely delivered. On top of that, I was stunned that none of the color seemed to wash out on my first shampoo at home, which was something I had grown accustomed to (and thought was normal) with my last stylist. I was not satisfied w/ how my hair was being cut although the stylist were very friendly and professional so I decided to cancel my membership on February 26th, because they said you needed a months notice to cancel. So I knew I would have to pay for March, which I was expecting, but then I was also charged for April. My wife and I reached out MULTIPLE times to recieve a refund for the April charge. We were promised multiple times to see this refund but it's been almost a month and still no refund. This is absolutely ridiculous so I have to give only one star. read more
