Enjoyed the food and ambiance of this outdoor experience. Particularly pleased with our bartender, Nicole. Will return!

The restaurant has what is termed blue wave lighting so I apologize for the quality of the pics. I just didn't know how to escape the blue hue. Service was outstanding! We had a larger party and special care was provided to all of us in attendance. I started with the gazpacho, which was just okay. The paella though was wonderful. This Cuban influenced version is a bit different than the traditional Spanish version with which I have far more experience. My guess was the biggest difference was in the saffron which I didn't pick up here. Visually, and you'll have to trust me here, a wonderful presentation. A great time was had by all. Warning though, the portions are very large.

The steak we ordered arrived on a very hot rock that caused grease to splatter all over the table and our clothes, ruining a pair of shorts. We had to ask for a plate to manage the situation. When we spoke to the manager afterward, they mentioned that they were already aware of the hot rock issue but offered no apology, no discount, and did not seem to view it as a problem worth addressing. Just overall very disappointing. The food is decent but for a $300+ dinner, i expect a little bit more than that.

Strangely we tried to go to a nearby restaurant that closed at 2 pm for lunch. The hostess there recommended Bobbie's and as they say a person in the trade recommending somewhere is a good sign. Apparently famous for French dip - I tried it and nothing special but ok and hit the spot. My wife had blackened Salmon which was large and she could not stop overeating it. They are also renown for fresh fish so not surprisingly the Salmon was first class. Separately there is a bar that was full but strangely they had no fraught beer available in the restaurant. Service attentive and would go back again if the opportunity presents between 2 and 5 and could not get into other place.

The service felt more like a cafeteria or diner than a restaurant with these prices. It wasn't very friendly or welcoming, and for what you're paying, I expected a much better dining experience. One thing that stood out was that we were never told about any specials, yet we overheard our server explaining them to another table nearby. That made us feel overlooked. The décor also felt very outdated, with a 1970s atmosphere that just wasn't appealing to me. I understand some people enjoy a nostalgic vibe, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'm glad we gave it a try because the prime rib was very good, but overall the experience wasn't enough to bring us back.
