I just ate at cabana and I normally love the place. Tonight, they brought everyone at our table (6 women) their food but didn't bring mine. They brought a cheeseburger and grilled cheese to our table but nobody at our table had ordered it. The waitress stated that "they" took my sandwich to another table instead and they would make me another! I told the waitress that I expected to get my meal free because of this mistake. She told the manager. They said "because I was still going to eat it, she couldn't take it off my bill"! We couldn't believe it! The waitress offered to pay for it herself! My sandwich came about 30 minutes later. Of coarse my friends were done eating. I've never heard of a restaurant not compensating for a mistake that they had made! read more

Waited 4 Hours , yes 4 hours ( Saturday night ) to be seated but it didn't matter because everyone was hanging out in the parking lot in their cars, chairs, or tailgating so to speak . I think most people understood that they could only seat 50% capacity. People kept complaining of their wait and couldn't understand why tables were open and not being sat, I honestly couldn't believe that many people suddenly "forgot " we are still semi in quarantine. Lol. People also complaining that they couldn't sit by the river and didn't obviously read their website : FIRST AVAILABLE. if you don't like the rules right now then STAY HOME UNTIL THEY ARE OPEN AT FULL CAPACITY. When we got there we were 160th = 3 Hour wait - on the yelp waitlist ( also on their website - so no need to complain on here about wait times) If you were smart and read rules first - you would understand. ) Wait ended up being 4 Hours BUT we enjoyed drinks and company with friends & 1st night out in 3 months. The food was hot and came out quick. Kudos to management and staff for dealing with the rude unhappy Karen's! You would think people would be more appreciative that you were even open at 50% . Some places chose not to open. Ignore those bad reviews this season - people are miserable. We will be back again !! The only thing I would suggest to managers is to look at the app and quote estimates - like we all knew it was at minimum 3 hour wait if not more. Just be honest with your customers .... some people had small children and were just asking how long you thought it would be. ..... someone else was 40 and waited 1.5 hours- Maybe suggest for every 35-40 names on list is about 1 hour - that might help read more

We were there on the first night, got there at 455 had an house wait. You could not stand by the bar but you could go out to the bar and take it out to your car while you wait. It took us about an hour to get in and it was worth the wait. When checked out yelp wait list while we are going in and the list was up to 85 and the parking lot was full of people that were enjoying the walkup bar. After reading these reviews, expectations were low. Never been here before, so seemed like a nice environment for a meal (it was...we waited for a riverside seat. Peaceful, relaxing. Didn't have to wait long at 12:30 on a Friday). I was prepared for overpriced, mediocre food with poor service. I was pleasantly surprised! Pretzel Sticks we're delicious (be prepped for garlic butter puddles in the dish, but we loved it!). Steak on a Stick was delicious (go with medium rare...so tender!). The Bang Bang Shrimp was the only thing I'd say was mediocre. Cooked nicely, and had a little zing, but not a lot of flavor. Draught beer was only $3.25 for a decent sized cup. I went here for the 1st time yesterday and it was the worst experience I've had in a long time. First, we were told we had to wait in the parking lot, and there were plenty of areas where no one was in their patio and grass area. When we got our table we asked for a drink menu they did not have one!! I ordered a long island and it was the worst cocktail I had ever had and tasted stale and nothing like a long island. I then ordered "the most popular appetizer-steak on a stick" which was going to be over 15$ and what I got was the worst plate I had ever gotten anywhere. Waited 30 minutes after our estimated time - service started out good- waited another 35 minutes for food - received the wrong food - my husband was finished eating by the time my food arrived- I turned it down- our server took the food and we waited another 20 minutes for our check. We attempted to eat here cause it has been years since we were last here. There were 22 names on list before us. We added our name and sat at the bar for a drink while we waited. In about 15 minutes time we heard the bartenders be rude to people more than they were nice. It was ridiculous and uncalled for. We took our name off the list and went to the Brewery next store. upon first look, this place is very very nice. sweet riverside setting, good sunset view, just a wonderful place to spend a summer's evening. However, i don't go to restaurants for the view, i go for the food. in this case i was especially disappointed. i got the fish and chips and although the fries were amazing, i bet i could get better tasting fish at a long john silvers! i had maybe 2 bites in the time i was there i could not muster up the will to finish this thing. OH and dig this, a woman in the restaurant like passed out or something and i really didn't see any workers go and help her, they were all too calm to have somebody have a medical emergency in their restaurant, which leads me to ask...was she poisoned?? read more

Unique hidden gem. Good for families. All outdoor seating, some under a roof and some under umbrellas. Sand volleyball and bar. Good food from appetizers to salads to fish to burgers. Went on a Friday early with 3 other adults and 1 child around 5. 5 minute wait. Sat under the cover. Food was ok...but I thought the drinks were a bit overpriced. Scenic location overlooking the Ohio River. They had ceiling fans but perhaps because we were close to the kitchen area was still a bit warm. It looked like the folks sitting under umbrellas were fine if they could block the warm sunshine. All in all, we WOULD go again; maybe sit outside after the sun goes down. read more

I'm so sad to write this review. In the past I've had good experiences but this time we came on a Saturday around 6 with 3 kids and a party of 8. All the yelp scheduled people got in before and we had no real "eta" for our table. We waited 45 minutes and just got, "you get the next table" there were 4 hostesses, over kill? And there was a lady sitting at her reserved table of 12 alone for over 30 minutes. Finally the hostess approached with a 2 tables outside and it was about to down poor. I was done, you're gonna sit us outside after pulling the plastic walls out and you know it'll rain. They wanted us gone. We left. The hostesses were not concerned with us and why were there 4! Absolutely amazing experience. We have been to this establishment many times during the warmer months over the last four years. They have great food, a beautiful view and wonderful staff. During all of the COVID-19 outbreaks they have done everything and anything they can to be safe. They have abided by all the ridiculous orders given to them. They have continued to offer their well known wonderful service in the midst of the pandemic. They have implemented a new online wait list that truly is great as it tells you exactly how many parties are ahead of you.
