Covalt Station is such a unique little place where you can relax with great food, cold drinks, and a lot of locals. This has become a regular stop for my husband and I. They have a small menu, but it is all delicious. Get the Brussels sprouts! Staff is friendly and chill. Great atmosphere, especially in the winter with the wood stove going, so cozy.

I was looking for a restaurant that served oysters near our home. This popped up on Yelp and I couldn't help but to read the reviews and to check it out. This is the type of place you pass by but don't know it's there. I think this was previously a plant/nursery shop at one point but didn't know it turned to a restaurant. It's been here for 3 years so this is definitely a hidden gem for me. I didn't know what to expect of this place. You walk in and man... it has Gatlinburg vibes. A small cozy cabin so nostalgic that you are in for a treat. We got to pick our seat and Kyra was our server. Very down to earth and attentive. The menu is very simple. They do sell appetizers, salads, sandwiches, sides and famous for their oysters. Lots of a la carte. Drink menu is also simple but by looking at it, they thought this through with pairing with the meals. Cocktails, wine and beer. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of the Sicilia Clara Sala (Grillo) Dinner: -Dozen of raw oyster -Coastal Crab Cakes (chipotle dell template, champagne slaw) -Brussels Sprouts (lemon vinaigrette, Parmesan cheese) -Side of Pasta Salad When the oysters came out. I truly enjoyed it. Fresh from Connecticut. Shucked to perfection and my fave was adding the horseradish and lemon to the oysters. The rest of our meals were magnificent. The crab cakes were the best I've ever had. The sauce went so well with the crab and coleslaw. Loved the hints of lemon in our Brussels sprouts. Our side of pasta salad was great. Loved the ingredients and the feta cheese. This place is totally a nice surprised and a great experience. I love it here and can't wait to come back.

Came here on a whim on a Friday evening and I have to say... this place is SUCH a vibe - in a good way. If felt so cozy inside and the staff was so nice. You could tell automatically that this place had their regulars and they are quite classy lol. I didn't realize that this place is more of a bar than a restaurant and that's okay because now I want to come here just for a drink sometime! Anyway, we ordered dinner.. my husband ordered their double burger and he enjoyed it. I ordered that I lobster/shrimp burger and that was quite unique - it was good, but I think I prefer a good old fashion burger. We also ordered a side of truffle fries and that was yummy. I'd come back here again and maybe on one of their oyster nights!

Cozy, casual bar restaurant. Great vibes and awesome bar food with a solid menu. We went in the winter but great patio for warmer days!

My lady found this spot right here on Yelp and has wanted to go for a while so I decided we should check it out. From the experience we had, we pretty much fell in love with the place. The service was awesome, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was very rustic and cozy. We went on a Saturday evening. This is definitely one of those places I'd classify as a hidden gem because it's so easy to overlook due to how small it is. But don't let its size fool you, it may be small in size, but it's BIG in character and flavor. The menu isn't huge at all but does have a nice variety. Theie libations menu isn't big either, but features a nice selection of cocktails, beer, and a limited amount of wine. We mainly came for the oysters which are available Thursdays and Saturdays after 5pm. Our server, Kyra, was super friendly and welcoming. We started with a bottle of Sicilia Clara Sala Grillo, listed as Coastal White on their menu. We also ordered a dozen oyster, two crab cakes, brussel spouts, and a side of pasta salad. We definitely did not wait long at all before everything was ready and all very delicious. The oysters tasted super fresh, like they were caught out of the ocean this morning. The crab cakes were possibly the best we've ever had. The brussel sprouts were epic with the lemon vinaigrette and Parmesan cheese. The pasta salad was just perfect too. And the wine we chose paired very well with it all. We were raving about everything we had! This is one of the best hidden gems we've ever tried. Stepping into this place feels like walking into a rustic mountainside restaurant in Gatlinburg. We'll absolutely be coming back here soon for more oysters.

The calamari and all the sandwiches were amazing. Food and drinks came quick and we had a great time! Would recommend this place for sure 10/10

This place rocks!!! Awesome service. Craft cocktails. $3 bud lite and Miller lite. Go cheap or go fancy. The bisque is great. Oysters on the half. A double burger that satisfies the bigger appetites. Thank you Connie for telling me about this place. Joe, one of the owners made us feel like family. Clearly they love their team and it makes a difference. Have fun coming here to get away from it all. You really do feel like you're on vacation.

They have both inside and outside seating, which is great on a cool day with your dog. The outside seating has a large fan that was great to keep the breeze going. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, coleslaw, grilled cheese and truffle fries. All of their fries are always well seasoned and delicious. The chicken sandwich was sweet with a bit of a kick where the coleslaw helped cut the heat. The food was delicious but may take a little time to come out depending on how busy they are.

Beyond the fabulous location and decor, the food and drinks are on point. Perfectly executed chilled Vesper martini and shrimp burger with generous portion of fresh seafood from Lobstah Bakes nearby. Think crab cake, but better. Delicious soft potato bun with a light remoulade (?) sauce. Perfect for splitting. The Labatts beer on tap is also delicious for a warm evening at $3 a glass. In fact, all of their beers are on tap. They also have an impressive tequila selection. Come for the vibe, stay for the great drinks, food, and friendly service. Very excited to return during the summer months ahead.

First time here but will definitely be back. They have oysters on Tuesday & Thursday so I'm definitely coming back for those. So come check it out...still not here??

We, of course, had to grab a brew and bite at Little Miami Brewing. As Wisconsinites, we take the opportunity to try a new brewery as second nature. We stopped in on one of the nicest days of the year so far, and going here just made sense. The doors and windows were open, the sun was shining, and people were everywhere. We ordered a few different beers to try. I love that they only sell their own brews on tap! We also got a pizza to share. We sat outside on their beautiful back patio, and it was perfect. The clear view of the river was gorgeous, and the day could not get better until I had the pizza. It was cheesy, warm, the crust was so tasty, and it was amazing. I have no idea how I have not been here sooner. Trust me when I say this place is a must!

Don't tip until the end. I've discovered that when I hand…read moreover a pre-game $10 cash tip before sitting down, magically the dirty tables get cleaned, the forks stop looking like they lost a bar fight, and the "30-45 minute estimated wait" doesn't turn into a semester abroad. Weird how that works. Especially in a mostly self-service setup where the "team experience" is supposedly what we're tipping for in the first place. Now, the place itself? Always a vibe. The ambiance is a consistent 10. Hanging flowers everywhere, riverfront energy, live music, sunshine, cold beer, people laughing like they don't have mortgages... it's basically Pinterest with an IPA tap list. The taco salad? Meh. The $14 "large" version looked like inflation personally assembled it. Nothing offensive, just forgettable. Cincinnati has better versions of that exact thing hiding in random strip malls next to vape stores and tax prep offices. Oddly enough, some of their other salads are actually much better. And salads at other Milford establishments rock...but it's not about the food. The Hawaiian pizza also came out looking like it attended the meeting but didn't contribute. Crust was underdone, chewy, and about as flavorful as a city council subcommittee. To be fair, I've had better pizzas here before, so maybe order it well done and pray over it briefly. But honestly? Nobody comes here because Anthony Bourdain's ghost whispered about the taco salad. You come for the atmosphere. The people. The flowers. The live music. The river. The one perfect cold beer from the homemade beer list that hits after a long day and briefly convinces you your life is organized. And in fairness... sometimes that's enough. and my wife loves this location.

If you haven't been to MPH Brewing in Montgomery, you're either stuck in traffic... or parked…read moresomewhere three blocks away wondering if this place is really worth the walk. Spoiler: it is. The only real complaint here is that the parking situation occasionally resembles a Black Friday doorbuster...,,except instead of discounted TVs, you're fighting for proximity to exceptional beer and people who actually seem glad you showed up. From the moment you walk in, you get hit with something rare these days: genuine, unscripted hospitality. Sierra, the general manager, runs the place with the kind of quiet authority that says, "Yes, we're in control....and yes, you're going to enjoy yourself." She's sharp, composed, and clearly the reason everything hums instead of hiccups. Then there's Maddie...her sister....who is essentially a human champagne cork. Every interaction pops, sparkles, and somehow gets more entertaining the longer you're around her. Watching Sierra and Maddie interact is like seeing discipline and delightful chaos shake hands and decide to run a brewery together. The result? A place that feels both dialed-in and alive. Caroline deserves her own headline. Not just pleasant...precision-level accommodating. The kind of service where you don't have to ask twice, and usually don't even have to ask once. She and Maddie made sure we were completely taken care of out on the porch, including getting a fire going when the temperature dipped into that sneaky "do I need a jacket or not?" zone. That's not service..,.that's anticipation. The food? Legitimately strong. The prosciutto and fig jam pizza hits that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and "why did we not order two of these?" Their salads don't feel like a punishment, and the sandwiches,,..let's just say people aren't exaggerating. You'll see tables guarding them like trade secrets. Now the beer....this is where MPH separates itself from the "nice patio, average product" crowd you find scattered along certain nearby river-adjacent zones. These beers don't just show up,,.they perform. Clean, well-crafted, and across a lineup that feels like a brewmaster who knows exactly what he's doing and isn't guessing. You could drop several of these into a national competition and they wouldn't just participate--they'd make noise. What stands out most is the environment. Relaxed without being lazy, energetic without being chaotic. If the weather cooperates, sitting outside is one of the most enjoyable, almost unfairly pleasant experiences you'll find in Montgomery. There's really nothing else like it in the immediate area, it's not trying to copy anything, and that's exactly why it works. Bottom line: MPH Brewing is what happens when ownership hires well, trains well, and then gets out of the way of good people doing good work. Just plan your parking strategy like you're invading Normandy--or bring comfortable shoes. Either way, you'll leave glad you made the effort.

My husband was saying how much better it will be when we come back in the summer with the huge patio and all the garage doors open. I agreed, but I also think part of the reason we loved it so much was that even though it was a cold, gray February day, inside Parks and Rec had so much greenery and lots of windows so it felt summery inside! Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!!
