We used to come here on the weekends , listening to music and enjoying a few drinks. I suggested to another couple to meet us there for lunch, drinks, and the view. The view of the river was very nice. However, the food( fish and chips) was the worst I'd ever had. The fish was way over cooked. I wanted a draft beer, asked for a Miller lite. No such luck. I ended up getting some kind of blue drink that tasted of coconut. After 2 of the blue drinks, I still couldn't taste any alcohol. At least the service was good. Decided to cross the river and try this place out. Couple of things to say upfront about the facility itself. 1. Parking is ample. 2. Patio area is huge - looks lime at least three outdoor bars and a sand volleyball court. This place is clearly hopping in the summer. If you go on a weekend, download the NOWAIT app and get your spot in line. We got here at 8:30 on a Saturday and weren't seated for almost 30 minutes. Also, its VERY LOUD in the dining area. You're not having a quiet romantic evening if you're coming here. There is an area to play cornhole next to the sand volleyball, so you can entertain yourself while you wait. We ordered the potato skins for an appetizer. They brought them out fast, and they were tasty, so high marks for that. They were out of their special for the evening, so we all opted to try their buffalo chicken sandwich. We all had different sides - I had the chips ( Husmans), my daughter had fries, and my wife had onion rings. The fries ( which were beer-battered) were excellent, and my wife liked the onion rings also. The sandwich itself was good, but not great. Plenty big, with two chicken patties. The service was good, as the waitstaff brought food out quickly and kept our glasses filled up. No complaints there. Will definitely come back during the summer to enjoy the river view. If you're in Northern Kentucky, take the Anderson Ferry across to check it out. read more

Enjoyed a great night of food, drinks and music along the Ohio at the Cabana. Highly attentive staff keeps all the drinks full. Seating is quick and easy and plenty of room whether on the deck near the river or in the bar near the bandstand. Fun to have palm trees in Cincinnati. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I used to LOVE the cabana and would go at the very least once a month. Most of this story is about a server named Morg. From the beginning she was rude. We had gotten starbucks about an hour before so we all had a little bit left in our cups. Keep in mind their sign and online policy is no outside alcohol everyone I was with was CLEARLY 18 and under and it was 4pm. She didn't let 3/4 of us order a drink. We had planned on getting drinks but she didn't even give us the chance to order. We were all having a good time it was mildly empty when we had arrived. She came over and in a very disrespectful tone told us to get rid of our drinks I okay I'll throw them away. She SNATCHED them out of my hand and walked away. After that she proceeded to get my order wrong adding bacon to my grilled cheese (I dont eat meat) which if she wasn't already so rude I would not have cared because she is human. We had gotten potato skins all 4 of us tried them. Genuinely I would have rather eaten a raw fish from the Ohio river. After eating we asked for a box for the chicken strips and the check. Post asking for the check she refused to come up to us and also was openly gossiping about us. The entire staff was then very disrespectful watching us walk to my car. Keep in mind we all used our manners because we weren't raised in a barn and keep how we felt to ourselves. I will not be returning and will never recommend it again. read more

If you're looking for laid back on the river...this is the place. The river view is nice, the service is friendly and the frozen drinks were great. We had pickle chips and beer battered cheese sticks to share...both were very good. I had the Fish and Chips for dinner. At this point I was a little fried out and the fish seemed like mostly just batter and grease. But I think this is mostly my own fault for ordering too many fried dishes!! The food was just fine.
