Cabela's supports RVers and campers by permitting overnight parking in their lot. Hooray as I wanted something a little different instead of the usual highway rest area, Cracker Barrel or Walmart parking lot. The "RV parking only" area was easy to find, over to the side. I arrived well after closing time and departed well before opening time, so I did not have an opportunity to thank them for the free parking with my business. But for sure, Cabela's is on my map for the next time I need RV or camping supplies! [Review 18576 overall - 1158 in Massachusetts - 2098 of 2022.]

A great place for fishing supplies

They have pretty much everything there. I go especially for the ammunition. It's definitely the least expensive you can find, although in this day it's all becoming hard to find. They're pet and kid friendly so check out the fresh water fish tank

From what I understand, there's no other place remotely like this in the USA, for now…read more PROS: Great for novices and kids, who want to get familiar with handling firearms, by practicing with air guns. The rules are the same, and although dangerous, I feel like you have a slightly larger margin for error. Don't get me wrong, air guns are dangerous! They should be treated with the respect of a real firearm. The owners here are awesome. Great safety briefing by John. He's super nice and engaging. The prices seemed fair to me. I imagine you could easily rack up a bill blowing through CO2 and pellets. But here, they keep a tally for you, which is nice. I had a great experience here. I would gladly go back. It wasn't busy, so we were fortunate to get John's undivided attention and safety lessons. We also had some range time with him showing us the ropes. They rent everything to need. Just bring yourself. The eye protection, ear plugs, it's all here. You can rent any number of air guns. High powered ones to smaller kid guns with pump lever action. The hand gun selection is great. Desert Eagle, 357, .45, Walther PPK, etc. Of course, they look like the real deal, but fire pellets. Rifle selection included many scoped rifles of varying power. We opted for an M4 with laser red dot scope. Awesome. You can get your Call of Duty fix on the range. CONS: None I could see this trip. OVERALL: Something really cool and unique to do. A firing range without the gun powder. A great way to get comfortable around guns.

After having been to five stores looking for hiking boots, I have finally found my pair frustration…read morefree thanks to Britt! He was so helpful and knowledgeable and instead of leaving me to browse cluelessly he brought out pairs he thought would work for my mostly flat feet that were prone to pronation, and I also have a sensitive Achilles' tendon, which made finding mid level hiking boots super difficult to find. He also showed me a way to tie my boots to lock my heels down to make them more comfortable. Nowhere else have I gotten the attention that he offered and I really appreciated it! I never felt rushed even when I went back and forth between two pairs that were just different sizes for about 20 minutes. I will be back here again to pick up more gear for upcoming trips. I just wish the return policy would let you return products that just didn't work for you like REI within a year, but the customer service here trumps far above that and I'd rather take my business here. They have a great selection of women's boots and trekkers which can be difficult to find. Also here is the picture of how he tied the shoes in case anyone is wondering! After you do the knot and loops just continue leaving them like you normally would

Once when I was looking for a new pair of shoes, the associate offered to help me order them on line from within the store. We LOVE Gary Wood and the folks at Belmont Wheelworks. We met when my son (who has Cerebral Palsy…read morefrom a stroke in utero) was in his first bike race-- Gary helped us adjust our bike before the race. My son bit the bug on bicycling and when he was ready for a new bike, Gary helped us find the perfect bike, making some accessibility modifications like switching the brake sides to favor my son's stronger side, etc. I got my Stumpjumper here 20 years ago and Belmont Wheelworks keeps on delivering because of the people!

Here's a collection of my terrible experiences at Wheel Works:…read more Story #1: Took a bike in to get an insurance write up for estimated cost of repair/replacement (my biked was pretty much totaled). They said the estimated time for this would be around 5 days. After 10 days of them not contacting me, I called them. They said the write up was ready so I went to shop only for them to tell me it is not ready and to come back in a couple days. When I went back, the person who did the write up lost the paper and we had to go back AGAIN for a new paper. A 5 day simple write up turned into a 3 week back and fourth with this shop (and 3 weeks with no bike which is my main form of transportation). Story #2: I asked for 2 tubes for my bike and they gave me 2 different sized tubes BOTH OF WHICH WERE NOT THE CORRECT TUBE. Story #3: I asked for a tube for my bike and I gave them the model (which they sold to me). The person asked me what size it is which I forgot. So he replied "well I don't know that bike go figure that out yourself" (while he was at a functioning computer in which he could have looked it up for me). Story #4: I also had a kick stand repair after it fell off (my bike has a specialize built in kickstand) and it fell off again after 2 rides.
