Absolutely love the Cabela's franchise, and this location is amazing. Well kept and clean great prices and staff is friendly. I just recently bought my first gun and Michael in the firearm section was amazing at what he did, even shared with me some information on safety tips different firearms and calibers. Even showed me a pamphlet at the customer service section on to get my concealed carry permit. Ask for Michael he'll help you get you what you're looking for. Overall, a great experience.

Very nice store. Prices pretty steep but no more than any other Cabela's. Not a single sales person asked if we needed help finding anything.

Caught in a classic BAIT & SWITCH I have always loved Cabelas. However, this pissed me off . We went in to purchase some boots for wadding fishing. We Already have the Waders. This was a purchase by my step son. The boots were organized 9 on a lower shelf around the immediate corner were the $ 79.00 as on display. When we took the boots to the cashier they wanted $130 for the same boots. We questioned the price My step son ran to get a photograph of the price, As the manager came to check out our concerns. She looked at the photographs and then went and talk to her supervisor she said no we cannot price match. Well it's not a price match it's the value of the price that we selected. Price match is for another company!!! Not the same store! Bottom line we actually went back and selected the boots that were not on the shelf, she had to get them out of the back room at $79. This added 45 minutes to our already long day! Cabelas you can do better than this!!!! Also, my step son age 12 is not impressed with your company! I wonder how much he will / or would have gone into your store over his life time.

I remember the excitement that was pervasive in the sporting and outdoors community when they announce many years ago that the first Cabela's would be built in Utah. I think the population of Lehi doubled on opening day there, as it was a zoo and people were out of control. Contrast that to this store in Farmington, which seems like it opened in the middle of the night and we didn't hear much about it. Now, I actually think there's a lot to like about this spot vs the Lehi location (and as unfair as it is to compare, you know we're all doing it). Lehi is massive, and I rather like the much smaller, more manageable feel to this one. Yes, that means a lot of products are unavailable, but if you're really desperate, remember that Cabela's also has a big distribution center in Tooele and you can pick stuff up out there, or you can order online and have it shipped to the store. So that's a big plus of a big company. I'm not in love with all of the sales floor real estate dedicated to clothing. I don't really shop for my outdoors clothes here, so I'm biased. Doubly biased, I'm not into camo so that takes even more out of consideration for me. But the essential interesting sections are still around as well, and they do have a really nice fishing section here, as well as a separate section just for fly fishing. The gun library is interesting to walk around too; people spend lots of money on their old guns, that's for sure. I'm curious to see what happens with the Bass Pro Shops merger. They tend to carry a few more things that I like, so we'll see if those products make their way over. Also, the staff here was super friendly, but after a few questions I'm not sure that they were the most expert in their field. Again, most of the room for improvement at this location seems to be service-related. If you're after the whole "Cabela's experience" then this isn't it--save that for a destination store. But for a smaller, more accessible, better parking experience, I like the way this one it set up.

Horrible service. Email inquires go without a response, live chat takes 10 minutes to talk with someone. Ugh!

I want to love this place, I really do. I can wander around for HOURS enjoying the manly man stuff they carry. Anything and everything the outdoorsy person could want. But I just can't. Cabela's isn't cheap and that's okay. I don't mind paying premium prices for good gear in a "all under one roof" place. The only issue I have with this location is that their in stock position is horrible. I've been there no less than 4 times in the past two months to leave either empty handed or only partially fulfilled. And nobody can seem to tell you when it's coming back in. Here's the tip: order online and ship to the store. Just tried it this trip and we'll see how that plays out.

The chain has gone from awesome to good since the buy out and the ammo-issue. There are a lot of products on the shelves, except for ammo, but it is cheaper goods at high prices. Since Covid, they have less employees who are less attentive. Everything fell and I hope they recover to bounce back to awesomeness.

Cabelas no longer honors their "lifetime" warranty. Pretty poor business practices in my opinion

I will not be back unless I need a specific item that is overpriced. And don't plan on returning anything unless you'd like to be bent over

No idea where to go... at each entrance there are service stations where you may purchase your items or ask questions. I asked where to get my fishing license and the young man cheerfully gave me precise instructions. Once I arrived at customer service I was greeted warmly and in less than 5 minutes I had my license. I chose 1 year but you can choose from a good variety of options up to three years! 5 star experience... While I walked about I was asked by a floor monitor if they could assist me with anything... I asked T question and they responded kindly good people in the store. I got some Iowa beef sticks... they also had good variety of jerky... that meaty juicy type not dried. I asked AI what are the top 5 most popular lures that work best in Utah and the store had all of them. I took them, a great Nike T shirt and my beefsteak at the cashiers near the entrance, paid and bid good day. I'd shop this place again.

Sorry to do this but things are very different at Scheels than in the past…read more I spent 30 minutes in the Kuhl department and no one even offered help or bothered to say hello. (I had several questions) 10 minutes in golf department. Same story. 20 minutes in BBQ and the two guys there seemed more worried about the display looking great than offering help. I've always loved Scheels but I am very disappointed with the current lake of service or lack of. I hope things improve! (I only spent $250)
