While we had no issues during the process, shortly after the floor was sinking in multiple places. The contractor returned and placed a saddle in one area. Saddles were included in my contract (two separate contracts one for materials and one for labor), so we had paid for both even though they initially didn't use saddles. There was no refund given for the unused materials and work that was never done. They returned again to "lift" the kitchen subfloor. At this point they had to remove the new LVP, so they used our warranty to replace the flooring. The floor continues to sink in multiple areas. They suggested placing multiple saddles throughout my floor. They claimed the floor manufacturer said I needed them, so I don't know why I wasn't told or why it wasn't done during the initial installation. I asked when they open the floor and see the subfloor is unlevel would they do the honorable thing and return my money to me so I can have my floor repaired. I was told the subfloor is level and we are no longer discussing it. They hold no accountability. On top of all of this, they have photos of my home including personal information of where we live, personal details of our family and refuse to take it down. What customer ever wants this!? They have now blocked me on social media, and fail to communicate responsibly. All I would like is the money returned to me for the flooring that is now garbage because they have to take it apart to level underneath, the money paid to do the work that wasn't done correctly, reimbursement for what was paid out but never used. This is a major inconvenience to have to go through construction again. This has been dragged out too long, own up to your mistakes and Do the right thing. be warned and stay far away from this company.

She measured and double checked her measurements, suggested ideas and worked with me on what I was looking for- we went back and forth via email for a few different design options and was always quick to respond when I had a question or concern (which was often because I'm a worry wart) Has something ever seemed too good to be true so you are just waiting for the "bad news" to hit? That's how I felt- everything was going too smoothly- too easily and too right to be reality. I have delt with other companies and that's always my experience- if the start is great the product is terrible or the install- always a little something- but not here! I stopped into Consumers for two reasons , one because they were close to the home location and two , because I noticed they had been around for years . I met with Patrick Curren , a sales associate and kitchen designer . Thus is the reason for my letter . This guy was fantastic , in every way . He planned our kitchen , giving us ideas we didn't think were possible in our galley space. He was current , knew the trends , and was patient . He never pressured us , knew his products and gave us food for thought , and that kept us coming back . We took his appliance store recommendation and ordered the Quartz counter tops through Consumers as well . We came away feeling that we got the best products available for our budget . He was responsive to our concerns when we had then , offered solutions and all in a timely fashion , Patrick Cutran is truly an asset to your business anf is the sole reason we shopped at Consumers . By 2023-2025 every single door, drawer front, end panel, and even the glued-in cabinet boxes are catastrophically failing: * Paint bubbling and peeling on untouched surfaces and raised center panels * Miter joints opening * Rails warping and delaminating MasterBrand's own November 21, 2025 letter (photos attached to this review) admits the finish is "compromised" and the MDF panels swollen, yet blames me for "excessive moisture/water damage and normal wear." They offered to replace only 14 pieces (less than half) as a "one-time courtesy" and demanded I permanently waive my Lifetime Warranty rights. Consumers Kitchens & Baths response? Complete silence. They sold me cabinets that fail multiple mandatory ANSI/KCMA A161.1 tests (Finish Adhesion 5.4.1, Joint Strength 5.3, Shrinkage & Heat 5.8, Humidity Resistance 4.3.3/4.3.6), took my money, and now refuse to stand behind the sale or help force MasterBrand to honor the warranty. This is the exact same defect dozens of other 2019-2022 StarMark/Schuler/Omega painted cabinet owners are experiencing nationwide. Consumers Kitchens knew or should have known these painted finishes were failing across the country, yet they kept selling them. If you're considering painted cabinets from Consumers Kitchens & Baths, run the other way. The beginning process started off so great. Ian was knowledgeable and helpful and had a great show…read moreroom that showed us a bunch of options. We enjoyed working with him so much we also used him to source our appliances and quartz countertop and pulled the job from our other suppliers. Everything came in within a reasonable amount of time and the installation was ready to begin. The team came every day and on time, and they were about a 7 on the neatness scale. Everything was ready to be installed, and There is where the issues started. I had replaced an existing island with one that was much bigger and added a coffee bar with cabinets on one wall, and switched out the countertops and backsplash. The island went in first, and was installed not at all straight, they adjusted a few times and it still is slightly off, and the final answer I got was "your walls aren't straight so this is the best we can do". None of the cabinets are lined up properly still to this day, 9 months after the job was completed. The spacing between all cabinets are not consistent, the cabinets hit each other when being opened and closed. The double garbage track I believe needs to be totally replaced but was told "that's how the garbage cabinets come" The installation on the appliances were also terrible. I had to get a different contractor to come adjust my dishwasher, as I asked Ian's team 3x and it was not getting fixed. Ian's team never screwed the dishwasher into the cabinets so whenever it was opened and closed it would move. It was also not flush to the countertop. Ian has come back on 3 different occasions to try to align the cabinets and the last time he said "I have to call the manufacturer I'll get back to you" and haven't heard from him since, over a month ago. I am now looking into another cabinet company that will come and fix what was left here. I would feel comfortable ordering with Ian but never again use him for the installation.
